[Q] Xperia S Notification bar - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

My notification bar on Xperia S got stuck like 10 hours ago and it still is. The applications shown in the bar is the same, i got a message, opened it, but the message notification still stays, same with the battery charger, i removed the charger, and now i can still see the "remove from socket to change energy" icon still there. And the main problem is that the clock does not update. It shows the same time as when it was on the freeze time.

did you install some app that might be responsible for it?
Have you restarted your phone?
You could also try to repair your firmware by using SEUS. (remember to make a backup first)

I would flash that phone

[Q] S Tablet and notifications

[SOLVED]
for the last week or so, I no longer receive notifications for new GMail or updates from the Play Store or Amazon app store. For that matter any other app (like Drippler) that adds a notification icon (lower right beside the time and battery icons) no longer shows up. I am running Nova launcher, but have tried going back to GO Launcher and also the stock launcher (rebooting each time). Not sure what else (short of a factory reset) to try, Anyone have any ideas?
Oh, should mention that if I swipe up or tap the notification area (clock and battery icons) I do see notifications in the pop up menu. Just no icons as used to be.

I must be totally blind, but I cannot locate the Notification option in Settings.

open quick settings menu by pressing the lower right hand corner of your screen, then press any where near date or battery indicator, there you will find a notification button.

Well! Found it, indeed the notification option was off. Turned it on and the icon Lookout reappeared. I think that may have restored the notifications.
Thanks so much for the response!

Battery Percent on Second Screen without persistent notification

Posting a new thread, as an existing thread with this query seems dead.
I tried at least 10 apps to show the battery percent in the second screen while the Main screen is Off.
All of them add the persistent notification in the notification area. Is there an app which just adds it in status bar and hence the second screen, but not in the notification? If not, is there a way to hide the permanent ongoing notification of a selected app so that I can use any battery percent app which I tried already?
I already had a thread for this and I ended up finding the method on my own.

How to get rid of the annoying red warning icon on rooted Oppo?

rooted my phone a while ago, and after a couple weeks maybe this icon appeared out of nowhere. its not the full red banner safetynet thing but this icon bothers the hell out of me. long pressing it takes me to a system app just called "android system" where im unable to disable notifs.
even using the app "notifications off (root)" doesn't display it in the list of system app you can turn off. and any of the other notification blocking apps i tried just turned out to be trash. tried just installing a status bar overlay app but it drained the battery of my phone too much to keep as a solution.
im running android lollipop and have an oppo f1s

Notification bar disappeared

Hi to everyone.
This morning, out of the blue, the notification bar of my Mate 20 pro simply disappeared.
I'm referring to the top bar where you can see phone signal, battery charge and time.
When i open any apps, the bar appears again but when i'm in the home of the phone, it doesn't show up anymore.
Anyone can help me to bring it back?
Thanks!
Hello to everyone.
Problem solved.
It was due to my customized launcher which, for some reason, changed the settings by itself and removed the bar.
All I had to do was to change that setting to the old mode and everything returned to normality.
