I have a rooted Xperia s, and the game works so bad
Very laggy and slow,
Any idea why?
yeah, SONY XPERIA S has a very poor graphic CARD sadly, you can only play all games on low graphics.
But next time you know when you buy a PHONE just check the graphic card(all games on iPhone 4 are above XSX on graphics..an SXS has a better graphic card).
So there is nothing I can do?
Changing Rom and kernel will do any good in that case?
Never had this issue, running on stock .50
Any one alse have that issue?

Hi, i'm using one of the best roms for Xperia Neo, the AC rom (used to be PAC) the one ported by Kormatoes. But i'm getting a little lag when gaming, just installed vce city and even with low graphics i get lag sometimes. So i want to know what can i do to reduce this lag.
I changed the governor to performance (don't know if it's the best), and OC to 1.4 GHz, closed all apps before gaming. What else can i do?

Vice City is a pretty heavy game and it won't run on our devices smoothly, especially if you're on ICS/JB ROM.. Both are RAM hungry and therefore not enough RAM would be there for you to play!
If you love heavy games I recommend you to switch to GB ROMS..
I know that GB roms are lighter than ICS or JB, but how lighter they are? You think just the rom will make a big difference or there should another thing to do? What about the governor?

ROM definitely makes a big difference..
Try playing games on both GB and ICS and then try to compare between the two!

Well i would like to get the best performance without changing the rom. I think the AC ROM is well tweaked and maybe as lighter as a GB rom. Just want to know the best configuration (CPU governor, I/O) to get less lag. Should i restart the phone before playing too?

I have an Xperia u, with unlocked bootloader. 2 years ago i bought asphalt 7 from play store...i saw a lot of videos on youtube, and the game was smooth and with no lags.
I was on stock ICS. Installed the game, something like unplayable, especially on night maps. Installed CM 9.1(fxp 202), and same thing.
I am now on GB (Brains 03) and the game goes smooth like butter.
Is it normal to have this huge difference between ics and gb?

everything is possible coz ICS and GB are both different versions of Android and ICS is more heavy w.r.t GB........

I already own an Xperia Sola, and an Xperia Ray, but none of them have really good gaming performace. My question is:
What is the best phone for hardcore gaming? (by hardcore gaming I mean Modern Combat 4, GTA Vice City, and all the newest games on highest settings)
- The phone musn't be a whale (preferably Xperia sola size, no phablets please! For me the ideal screen size is around 4 inches)
- Price is NOT a problem
- Preferably NOT Samsung (I hate those crappy iPhone clones)

Obviously the "best" phone is a matter of opinion. Those games need a lot of memory and processing power. I'd recommend playing a high frame rate racing game like Need For Speed. Racing games have a lot of frames to render per second since its constantly moving.
I'd get at least a phone with a quad-core processor, and 2GB of memory. . . AT LEAST that much. Since your not a Samsung fan (like myself), I'd recommend the LG Optimus G, which I'm biased to because I own it. I own all the games listed above and NOT ONCE, have I had frame rate issues, glitches, or stutters.
Hi all. I don't know if any of you have experience any lag in some games as I do. My z ultra plays some games without lag but this tablet has a better processor and it lags where my z ultra doesn't. I don't know if it is software related or not and if it is i can only hope is fix for lollipop because this tablet supposed to be better than the z ultra and so far I don't know.
I experience lag in game play occassionally as well, especially really graphically intensive games like real racing 3. Takes a little bit longer to load the game up than say the ipad air 2 or nexus 9. But even during game play, because of the lower frame rates, playing games isnt so smooth. Its not unplayable and if I had never played the game on the air 2, i would have never felt that it was not so smooth.
The 801 snapdragon isnt really meant for heavy game play.

no lag at all.. only i use it for play COC .. LOL
I own xperia z ultra and can tell you that there are some games on which there is some lag on the Z3TC compare to the ultra.
Hi guys. I have noticed that my Xperia Z Ultra has some performance problems. This problem is when gaming. It is something strange because sometimes games run very smooth but sometimes it is very laggy (more of the time). I dont know why it is happening. For me its like phone is not pushing feadback to cpu or gpu when its need it. My phone is c6833 it is stock 4.4.4 stock kernel stock rom. Can someone help me please??

Does the phone get hot while it's doing this?
Yes a little bit hot but not too much. Its something strange because today i was playing brothers in arms 3 and it was like 30-40 fps. And suddenly after killing me in a game , I ve restarted the same mission and i was shocked because there was like 60 fps all the time till i left game. I ve started game again and still 30-40 fps. Does anyone have the same issue? How is Your gaming experience "blueether"? Thank You very much for Your reply
