[Q] Native ICS? Jelly Bean Dialer/Contacts for ICS 4.0.4? - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I once downloaded I think it was an AOSP dialer for my 4.0.4 ICS ROM. I hate Samsungs' contacts especially when searching for one. I searched and searched and cant find it, its the same one as seen in Jelly Bean. Links please?
Thanks,
Paul

[Q] IS CRT animation available for the Jellybean Roms?

As the title states, is CRT animation available for the jelly bean roms that we now have?
I have done a fair bit of searching, couldn't get a conclusive answer so thought i'd post a question.
My apologies if it's blatantly obvious, i simply couldn't find a straight answer.

I am looking for smthing like this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1804032 but for gs2.

Well if your searching then you would know that one such ROM is based on cm10(jb) while some are stock ROM based... if you can't tell which is more stable then I would suggest switching to a Nokia

I installed jelly am 4.2.1 on my galaxy sII i9100 but now my hotspot does not work!

Does anyone know if its just 4.2.1 that does this ? If so I will flash 4.1.2 on instead?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Read the specific thread for your issue. But 'development' for Jellybam has stopped and the thread is closed, so maybe think about moving on to another rom

I did it by flashing the photosphere zip file (and I think one other .zip file too).

Nope just rooted stock... But restoration from tb. I figured the galleries would cause problems thinking they were version differences. O well not having any issues but thought I'd share a weird occurrence.

O... Thought of a question though... I know people have said that 4.1.2 camera won't work on 4.2.2, but since both are are working on 4.1.2 and they are evidently just apk's, can't I just restore the 4.1.2 on 4.2.2?

Pretty sure the 4.1.2 camera is TW-dependant, so it won't work on a non-touchwiz( 4.2.2) ROM
Thanks, didn't think of that.
