Not possible. The one that comes with the ROM works just fine though.

B. Can't transfer apps from ics to jb
(I think)
You could look for an sms app on the play store

Well I tried using es file manager by copying message app then saving and then it to aokp but on luck

Hey guys just searching on the web found out that they extract the S-Voice apk from de Galaxy S III and its working on ICS Devices
i got it from here...
S3 S-Voice Signed <---- Try this one! I Can confirm this APK its working
Have to remove the current voicetalk first! Remove either with titanium backup or by root explorer System/App then Install this... its supposed to install like a normal app
haven't seen it here! sou hope it works well on the devices gonna try it will leave feedback later

Working for me on Objection. Tried to install but it failed so I replaced app in /system/app and restarted which resulted in an FC after asking a question. Then I went into /system/app with root explorer and clicked on it to try install again and now it works fine.
Not working for me. I have unoficial ics with no mods.

3. Locate .tar and touch to open (don't long press) it (tar will open showing .apk

I have a Roger's Note running Gingerbread. And on it there is a app called Voice Talk (VoiceToGo.apk 21.01MB). Is that the same as this S Voice mentioned here? Looks almost like this S Voice. It is powered by Vling. I could upload it if it is needed for Gingerbread ROMs. Not sure if the ATT Note includes this app or not for Gingerbread.

If you read right before you posted that I had asked the same question and got a fix.
Copy and paste the apk file in to "system/apps" folder, and then tap it to install it.
People are saying this is actually vlingo and not the actual s voice unless Samsung paired up with them

unfortunately Touchwiz has stopped.

Got it working, after flashing the zip I then moved the lib file to the lib folder, set permissions, then manually moved the Seclauncher apk from pc to sd card and just installed..
I'm sure you thanked me by nudging me to try on gingerbread? thanks given to you for this! Now we should bring a SG III rom to the table it should be possible as my old inspire had Roms from every other new HTC device

It works but it not the original SIII LWP. Its a reproduction. Its still nice but you still don't have an interactive touch ripple on lockscreen.Not that I thought it would. No settings for it either. Thanks Boost.

What if you use WidgetLocker, and a GSII theme? One with no unlock button/icon? Wouldnt it be just like the GSIII?

I'm sure you can unzip and place apk in system folder and change permissions, also take the lib file and place in system lib folder and change permissions...try that see if that works, don't forget to reboot twice.

Feel free to edit. It is a vrtheme, so find whatever images you want, make sure to resize/scale, then load.

This my 2nd day with this ROM. I have been using the sense 5 Roms on and off, even spent a few days on CM 10.2. I forgot how trouble free MM777 ROMS are. Maybe not as feature rich as some of the others but everything works so well. Great job, thanks for you work.
