For all OTA updators
You mustn't update your ROM from 7.x to 8.x, also from (example) 8.0 to 8.2. You must firstly flash 8.1 and then 8.2. The same with 7.x: 7.x ---> 8.0 ---> 8.1 OTA ---> 8.2 OTA.
You can update via OTA Updater app only when your current version of ROM is only x.1 older. Example: you cannot update via OTA app when you are on 8.0 and the latest version of ROM is 8.2.
Only those OTA updating methods are proper and guarantee perfect ROM working.
Getting MD5 error in OTA Updater app? Try again by tapping on "updates"!
Updates for example from 8.x to brand new 9.0 probably won't be available via OTA due to big changes including AROMA and other huge stuff.

How-To install Jelly Sandwich
1. Download ROM and place it on SD
2. Flash latest stock ROM using Flashtool (first time flashing only)
3. Go to CWM (if you don't have it, use X-Parts or flash custom kernel)
4. Clean cache.
5. Fix permissions.
6. Start ROM zip with AROMA
7. Choose "wipe data and cache"
8. When the installation ends don't reboot
9. Clean cache
10. Fix permissions

I have two queries before installing the ROM;
1) I am on night-elf kernel, do I have to switch to any other kernel (if yes, then I will appreciate if you could provide link?).
2) I am using JellySandwich 6.2.5 ported by DJ, so do I have to follow the instructions as stated;
1. Download latest release
2. Flash the zip via CWM
3. Reboot and enjoy Jelly Sandwich!

you do not need to change kernel.. night-elf kernel is good for the rom
@sh.obaid It might be a super stock kernel then by shardul for our device

Before installing the Rom, I made a backup of my apps using Go backup but as suggested, I just installed the Rom without wipes. Some apps are so messy, so what should I do if I want to install the fresh Rom? Let me know which wipes and which format I have to do in CWM?

I installed v7.0, but returned to 6.2.5. Found that rom faster and more stable then the new version. Some bugs:
1. Cannot download internet and mms settings
2. Much bloatware
3. Some aroma failures
4. When loaded with all options (and pureness icons) the system partition has no space left (and lots of FC)
5. Other bugs....read Arc thread
@DJ maybe leaving v6.2.5 up? When aroma files are fixed (done it for myself) it's the perfect ROM. Walkman 7.5 can be easily added....
Still it's a really great ROM, so everybody just try and enjoy!
@max thnx for the rom's you provide. Please do not let yourself be pushed to release versions which aren't fully tested....that's you're mission right...keep up the good work!

Well...question asked many times, but special for you...
Don't do anything in CWM, just install the ROM, AROMA installer will be started. There are the options to wipe everything, just select all....
Wipe Cache, Factory / Reset, Wipe batterystats, Wipe Dalvik
You can also do Backup in CWM in case you want a full restore of your previous ROM

I've set apns manualy and internet works but mms dont (play).

Beside of those small bugs it is best rom I ever try. And its Polish <proud>

Jelly Sandwich is a stock Sony ICS based ROM. It works on unlocked and locked bootloader. You can use ANY ICS kernel you want, but for the best performance choose Suave. EDIT : Notification bar looks like a block of rectangle, Themes not available, XPERIA i meant. ROM seems to be fast. No Bloatwares. But visually not too good. If notification bar can be made a lil transparent, the app drawer icons a bit smaller, and if the Font can be changed, i bliv this ROm can go all the way to the top

Error again with the file MD5. I edited with notepad, and mismatch appear !
I think you should not rename the folder. You should leave as is, the name that leaves the recovery.

Try this method.
Attach your phone to PC in Mass Storage mode first and do as instructed in the above thread.!

Thanks for this one, I installed this rom on my neo from arc tread and all I have to say is excellent, fast and no lags so far. Seems I have ro install this one now, after all this is for Neo hope is working fine as Arc one.

Reporting after two days of using this ROM v NE kernel v1.5.. So far no problems or any issues what so ever.. Only one minor "bug" in the patch for Neo. It's recognized as a Neo V (MT11i) instead as a Neo (MT15i).
Battery life is good, performance is buttery smooth even on under clocked mode(806 MHz)..

For all OTA updators
You mustn't update your ROM from 7.x to 8.x, also from (example) 8.0 to 8.2. You must firstly flash 8.1 and then 8.2. The same with 7.x: 7.x ---> 8.0 ---> 8.1 OTA ---> 8.2 OTA.
You can update via OTA Updater app only when your current version of ROM is only x.1 older. Example: you cannot update via OTA app when you are on 8.0 and the latest version of ROM is 8.2.
Only those OTA updating methods are proper and guarantee perfect ROM working.
Getting MD5 error in OTA Updater app? Try again by tapping on "updates"!
Updates for example from 8.x to brand new 9.0 probably won't be available via OTA due to big changes including AROMA and other huge stuff.

1. Download ROM and place it on SD
2. Flash latest stock ROM using Flashtool (first time flashing only)
3. Go to CWM (if you don't have it, use X-Parts or flash custom kernel)
4. Clean cache.
5. Fix permissions.
6. Start ROM zip with AROMA
7. Choose "wipe data and cache"
8. When the installation ends don't reboot

i'm on nightelfs stock kernel and it's blazing fast
First try: lot of fc's (music info, credential manager, xperia home)
Now repeating install excluding some options....
man i flash the ROM and when boot to system he is stop i wait 4 min and the ROM don't open can help me please

Still trying to figure out why i get home launcher fc loops after a while (2nd reboot). It seems to dislike some setting i make (but i just enabled wifi, forced 2d gpu rendering and set smartassv2/sio. So i will have to narrow it down to one of those. First i will try some reboots without changing anything and see.....)
EDIT:
very odd behaviour (i did several installs to check, with recommended aroma settings):
1st boot: sometimes everything is fine, sometimes fc on music info and credential manager (though i use same aroma options and do full wipe)
2nd boot: boot animation is very slow or boot loop
3rd boot (if i get this far): home launcher fc's
EDIT: see Page 3 for update
Running on suavev6 btw.

Yes, after trying various setups i also found two problems (which the rom is probably not to blame for):
1. Walkman Music Player might cause credential manager fc's (though it works for me now). May be related to problem 2. Anyway i would not install any of the sound mods, but AC!D (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1735698) instead (make sure you have 40MB free /system before installing that, otherwise you might run out of /system).
2. If you are on suavev6 kernel you will run into trouble if you don't turn off swap creation on /system (which is default enabled in suavev6!!!). This will cause out of space problems on /system which will result in fc's and bootloops. So make sure shardul.swap.mb=0 is set in /data/local.prop before installing rom (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27607739&postcount=69). If you wipe data (as i did), then install new rom, change /data/local.prop and install new rom again (without wiping /data). This also solved problem 1 for me (probably also related to [temporary] /system shortage). (May be someone can create an update.zip just containing the modified /data/local.prop?? Then you could just flash that after wiping but before installing rom).
My current installation of 7.0 seems stable (using the aroma settings from maxio + nofrills + link2sd), but i have to use it a little longer to be sure. Speed is superb (smartassv2/[email protected]). Battery lifetime also (5% in 8 hours, no usage, Wifi on).

System Apps: Xperia T
Launcher: Xperia T 5x4
Statusbar: Xperia T
Sound Engine: none (install AC!D later)
Icons: Pureness
Root App: Superuser
Wifi Modules: Stock (for suave)
Bootanimation: none
Apps: No-Frills, Link2SD
Mods: Google Ears
Advanced: Wipe Dalvik
I didn't choose epic bootanimation because of it's size in /system. You also have to manually delete /system/media/bootanimation.zip (13MB!) to free up some space on /system.
After that you are able to install AC!D sound mod(Walkman variant) and will still have 10MB free on /system. Though you can still remove some crap like WeatherWidget(5,6MB), SemcDNLA(4,5MB), SemcNotes(2.8MB)....
But now comes the bad thing: I am still facing random reboots. They sometimes happen when i login directly after boot. Launcher starts and the last thing i see is NoFrills changing to smartassv2/sio, so it's probably related to that (my guess is, that there are lots of sdcard accesses just after reboot and it dislikes changing io govenor while busy. So i will try to leave noop for a while and see if that's the cause. Never had it on another rom though. And i am coming from JS6.2.5, so a quiet similar rom).

How-To install Jelly Sandwich
1. Download ROM and place it on SD
2. Flash latest stock ROM using Flashtool (first time flashing only)
3. Go to CWM (if you don't have it, use X-Parts or flash custom kernel)
4. Clean cache.
5. Fix permissions.
6. Start ROM zip with AROMA
7. Choose "wipe data and cache"
8. When the installation ends don't reboot
9. Clean cache
10. Fix permissions

This ia a better Rom than previous version but you have to remove all that bloatware that it has.... I took me close to an hour but I'm relieved now. After restoring apps I got only 110 Mb ram but I removed the bloatware I now have 220 Mb free ram haha anyways thanx dude will be testing the Rom for a week

About Revolution Z HD+ ROM
I tried to customize the stock ICS ROM to have the latest Jelly Bean features on our devices. I managed all the things in this ROM to have a beautiful UI without sacrificing the speed and battery life. This rom is a stock ICS .587 based custom ROM, for our 2011 HDPI Xperia devices, which is heavily customized to look like the Xperia Z. The base framework of ROM is highly customized to have an awesome GUI, services of this ROM are supercharged to make it super-fast ROM for gaming and multitasking experience and several tweaks extends the backup of phone. Since this rom looks like Xperia Z (to some extent) and has several Jelly Bean and ICS features and apps This rom has Smart Settings, LockScreen Style app and severa other features pre-installed in it which were taken from Zelly Cream ROMwhich is now the so far one of the best ROM for ICS devices

Make sure you are on .587 base. Before installing this rom, also make sure you have a complete nandroid backup and you have performed all the necessary steps, otherwise you may get bootloop. I will not be responsible for any kind of damage or loss to your phone, do this at your own risk. Read carefully and follow the steps to install the rom.Should work with any ICS Kernel.

1. Reboot to cwm.
2. Wipe data/factory reset.
3. Wipe cache partition.
4. Wipe dalvic cache under advanced menu.
5. Wipe battery stats under advanced menu.
6. Format data under mount and storage menu.
7. Format system under mount and storage menu.
8. Format cache under mount and storage menu.
9. Install zip from sd card.
10. Follow the steps in aroma installer to install the rom.
11. Uncheck "Reboot device" after installation completed and click on next to go back to CWM.

Note: After installation, first boot may take several minutes (to create cache, dalvik cache etc.) to start your device. Leave your device for 20-30 minutes to settle down the rom. Also at first boot you may notice a high ram usages (less free ram). It is natural because android system occupy a lot of memory while settling down the new rom. After 30-40 minutes reboot your device and you are now ready to fly with your newly installed rom.
* Before playing any games stop background processes which eats lots of ram like whatsapp, fb, timescape, social engine, skype, viber (I don't know what others )
* To disable Navigation bar goto Settings>Navigation bar,disable it then reboot
* If Lock screen doesn't change normally, then go to Navigation bar,disable it without reboot then again change lock screen.
* If Music Tab on Walkman gives fc then disable/freeze Devices.apk with tb or force close it from Settings/apps/all apps.
* To use Seeder, enable it 1st then tick on three of the options,then reboot.
* If Calendar gives force close message in the 1st boot then Reboot your device again to solve this.
* Don't always click Gaming Mode from Boost My Xperia, cause the values it sets won't match always use quick boost instead.
* There is a new Settings under Sound Settings If you choose Awesome Beats, Viper4Android, S-force Surround in Aroma, the sound enhancement you choose from that Control Panel will work as defaul to install Viper4 Android you need to select Cortex A8 cpu.

Q- Why ROM size is too high?
A- I added several applications and features so that you can customize the rom at the installation time. Choose the features that you want in your phone and Aroma will install those for you. After installation you will get 70+ mb free space.
Q- I got bootloop when I installed your rom. What should I do now?
A- Read and follow installation steps carefully to avoid bootloop.
Q- I successfully installed the rom but why did it took a long time to boot device?
After installing any rom Android settles down the ROM and create various files (cache, dalvic-cache etc) on the device so that apps can run on your device. It is natural and happens with all the ROMs, even with stock rom. I suggest you to leave your phone for 20-30 mints to completely settle down the ROM.
Q- I find less free RAM after first boot. Why?
After first boot ROM occupies a big portion of RAM to settle down itself and apps. So after 30-40 minutes of first boot restart your device and you will get a fast and smooth ROM.
]Q- What do I need to do heavy multi-tasking and play HD games?
You don't need to do anything special, the ROM does all itself. This ROM comes with supercharged services that lets you do heavy multi-tasking. You may notice a bit less free RAM just because of supercharged services but you will not have any lag. Further there is a Time Killer killer mod that automatically kills background apps when they are no longer needed to make some more free RAM.
Q- How can I switch between dual lock screens on my device?
By default you are on Jelly Bean lock screen. You can go to settings->Revolution Z HD+ settings and click LockScreen Style™. Click on AOSP style lockscreen and you will have JB styled AOSP lockscreen.
Q- I tried to change my lockscreen to AOSP but I am still on JB lockscreen. What should I do?
Goto /system/app from root file manager, find and backup UxpNxtLockScreen.apk to SD card, reboot your device. Now you will have AOSP style lockscreen.Now copy UxpNxtLockScreen.apk from your SD card, paste it to /system/app and set right permissions (rw--r--r). Open LockScreen Style™ from settings and now you can switch between these two lockscreens.
Q- What does X-Booster™ do?
This is my exclusive work by Gagan.U20 . It is like a task manager but a bit more than that. Boost My Xperia™ is developed by me to reduce lags, kill unnecessary background apps and make some more free RAM. So if you want to play HD games or feel lag just click on X-Booster™ to boost your device.
Caution: X-Booster™ does system-level tasks, so use it only when you feel lag, want to do heavy multi-tasking or to play HD games. Don't use it all the time otherwise you may notice a bit more RAM usages and thus less free RAM.
Q- When I check ClearPhase™ and go back and come again it is still unchecked. Why?
This generally happens of a few devices (not all). So if this happens with you, download and install latest Walkman mod from here and replace SemcMusic.apk, SemcMusicVisualizer.apk, MusicWidget.apk and SoundEnhancement.apk from my rom setup.
Q- When I play any song, sound automatically reduces after 3-5 seconds. Why?
Its just because of new SoundEnhancement.apk. Since this JB Walkman is already very loud, follow my recommended settings to have more louder song. First enable kill app by back button mod from settings under developement menu. Now open sound settings, tick XLoud and untick ClearPhase. Now open walkman app and play any song. After 5 secs you may notice reduced sound. Now open sound enhancements and long press back button. You will notice a popup that application killed and louder sound. Now again open sound enhancements and tick clearphase. Now you will have the loudest Walkman ever.
Q- I liked your ROM and your exclusive work very much. How can I support your for further developement?
First of all thanks for using my rom. I spent several days to made this rom super fast and butterly smooth with a beautiful user interface without sacrificing the battery life. the first one are bigger because i modded them from serajr's systemUI and the second one are small because they are taken from Xperia Z system UI modding them and adding them in addons in few minutes dont worry

Very good rom but I face it too. still force closes on camera. 'the camera curently unavailaible'. im using kappa 1.6 on lww n I did the fresh install no less no more. just stock which provided in the rom
