Google Wallet?

Does Google Wallet work? I'm assuming I'd have to side load it on an AT&T S3 but anybody have any luck with international one?

I think it's available from the 28th.

I'm getting not authorized for your device/carrier from Google wallet. Where did you hear that it'll be available from the 28th?
I tried the hacked Google wallet from modaco and it wouldn't go past authorising device

Is your device rooted or stock?
I'm rooted, you need to move the hacked apk to system/app and change its permissions to get it to install. Hopefully Paul will be able to get it working on the S3.

I don't think it will work until s3 is out in USA. Or until we get wallet in Europe which might be for the Olympics, so soon!

well thats a good choice u have made, u will get all the help and tips u need for the same here, start exploring ur phone first and then pour in ur questions
Yes, if you have a question, search first. If you don't find your answer, make it clear what you're asking. Also, no such phone as the S eleven, unless you're from the future.
Have done root on defy but am guessing not so easy on s2 lol

Do I need to upgrade to ics or can I root gingerbread

Yes. I strongly recommend you read the Stickies & don't take any shortcuts, and follow the instructions for whatever you're doing to your phone to the letter.
To much to take in

If you honestly feel that way, then my recommendation is to remain on stock.
Looking for shortcuts or asking others "what would you do" is kind of lazy, and if you have to ask for help after being directed to the stickies (which hold all the information you need) then you may not have the required aptitude that is necessary to safely modify your device.
This is not intended to be insulting. Just being real.
EDIT: one more thing; if you are an MB525 user, it is possible you are in the US, and either an AT&T or T-mobile USA subscriber. If so, you could be possibly asking about the Galaxy S 2 that is branded and sold specifically by each carrier.
If you are an AT&T subscriber, and you are asking about the AT&T branded Galaxy S 2, then you are in the wrong forum. You should probably be asking questions about the AT&T Galaxy S 2 in the forum for that device.
If you are a T-mobile USA subscriber and you are asking about the T-mobile USA branded Galaxy S 2, you are still in the wrong forum, and should be asking in the T-mobile Galaxy S 2 forum.
Dude rooting S2 is damn easy and 2 minutes job . If u need any help ask me
Yes I know you are right I'm T-Mobile uk clued up on defy noob on s2 sorry am taking it in slowly

Basic question - Switching SIM between two phones??

I have an ATT Galaxy S2 obviously.... I came across a brand new in box ATT Galaxy Note for a very good price.
Can I use both and just switch the SIM card when ever I feel like it?
If so, I'm buying it.
Thanks in advance.

LTE Sims are free. Att will configure the account or you can manually put in the correct APN for hspa only.
