android for wave 525 will be? - Android Development on Bada

Hi, dear friends!
I see a lot of topics and port Android to Bada, but only for Wave8500
I want to ask you to do on Android Wave525, if you are not hard.
I pay for it.
But we need to work all the features and a modem.
If we do for free, I would be very grateful, but still get the money, if everything is fine
And sorry for the bad english, I'm just out of Russia.

Seems not to be possible...

Please help us, the wave 525 users with android guys... We are also using a bada mobile... why all of yo guys are most concerned about s8530/s8500?? Please think about us too:crying:..

S8500 is similar(almost same hardware) to i9000 Galaxy S so porting Android is easier.
Nobody wants waste time to port Android to low end phones especially from scratch(write the device drivers, unpopular hardware).
You should buy new phone if you really want Android OS.

All are possible with dream

Anyways thank yo guys..... but yo cud hve said it much better without hurting...

How ?
Please read about S8500...
How long ?
How many Developer LEFT project ?
This is HARD work...
SLOW progress... 1 or 2 Devs left...
And now you expect that 1 Dev start also for other bada from SCRatch?
You can start your own Porting project.
Then you know how HARD it is.
Good luck.
Best Regards

The Wave 525 is just other hardware. so you will need to find an other samsung phone with same hardware.
and maybe there arent same.
also you will have to start over again the porting process

Can we port Android of Galaxy 3 (i5800) to wave 525 or wave 575?

exactly.. i m also a bada user. (wave 525) .
help for us. I cant even chnge it as my mom gifted me, such a stupid phone.
:crying:

because porting android needs a lot of rewritting the drivers and how to speak to youre phones hardware
and even the great phones like my blackstone dont have android running
and they are trying to acomplish that for over a half year now
and many other huge phones dont have a working android for there phone
and it arnt that many people here with the iolite so i think we dont have programmer how can make it for us ive it would ever be accomplished on other phones
best regards
miniterror
I donĀ“t can better say this.
Greetings!
HI!
Sorry for stupid questions...but I dont understand why someone should write new driver? Hardware are (almost) the same. Why you can't use tattoo's drivers without changing?
Best Regards!

Please check out this thread...
Then you can see, how hard it is... compare S8500 and S8530...
S8530 no success yet... after several months...
Also, please count how many users or Devs contribute...
Devs have no time to play with another Hardcore project...
Sorry.
But nothing is impossible... go find your own porting team...
sometimes dreams come true.

Graduation Project

hello dear friends
actually its my last year and i chose to do an android mobile application for my graduation project.
but the problem is it was late when i realized that i dont like software eng. and years have had passed.
anyway i made i to this part and since i really like android and own a galaxy note n7000 myself i thought android programming is a very good choice.
i really need help because i seriously dont know anything much about programming specially android , since back in iran they only teach you some c++ programming and thats it !
it would be awesome if some of you guys share your projects ( not serious types of projects ! ) with me.
FYI im into fashion business so if it was related to something like that it would be super great !
and guys please dont tell me to do my homework myself , because i really dont want to continue in software eng. anymore i just want to graduate and ... you know the rest.
you are most welcome to discuss your ideas and share your android programming experiences with me. please feel free to PM or email me.
regards ,

[Q] UBUNTU TOUCH on Samsung S3 (i9300/i9305) ?

Hi everyone,
First thanks to the XDA community I'm new here, even if I know and use XDA forum for a while, and you have been always so helpful!
So I own a Samsung Galaxy S3 (i9305), actually running CyanogenMod. I have been looking for tuts or help, in order to port the UBUNTU Touch on my device (I'm quite a noob^^), but with no success... :-/ Apparently things are almost completed for the i9300, but nothing for the i9305, which would be quite different if I'm right...
Is there any news, or any projects to port Ubuntu on this device?
I'm not an expert, but I'll be happy to help in any possible way, for porting Ubuntu Touch to i9305. I know this device is popular (like other the S3 models), and I'm also sure this would be useful for a lot of people!
Thx in advance for your answers and your help (and sorry if my english is not so good...)!
Did you find a way for the Galaxy s4 i9500
Hi, here it is about the S3, which porting project seems to be, like for the S4, more or less abandoned... It is sad and I would be pleased to know the reasons, and if it is possible to "restart" at least some of those projects.
Anyone ?
Dont think so bud
Pretty sure very few currently unsupported or older devices will get ports, what few devs are available will work on more relevant devices. Time for a new phone..
Yes, apparently porting projects are mostly abandoned... That's sad I think, according to the still important part of potential adopters (like me ) who still have their "old" flagships, and do not necessarily want to buy a new expensive phone, at this point of the Ubuntu mobile OS evolution.... but maybe I'm the only one thinking that way?

How to make Android Pie look like Oreo ???

Dear experts,
you might get headache by just reading the title, but so do I.
Nevertheless - I recently got a Galaxy A7 phone. I didn't even want to update to a higher
Android version !! I thought that it is just going to install security patches !!!!
And now it happened !!! I am now trapped in the world of Android Pie, which looks TERRIBLY !!!!!
I don't want to downgrade, because I have read, that Pie contains a ton of new stuff.
But how it looks... Buaaaaaaa ((((((
What makes me pissed off MOSTLY - I am no longer able to hide the navigation bar at the
bottom of the screen !!!! WHAT A DISASTER !!!!! It confirmed my opinion for the 10000th time !!!
EVERYTHING new is WAY WORSE, that everything old !!!
Why, guys, is it like that ??? WHY every new design should be so much uglier that the old one !!
WHERE is this world going ?!!??!?!?!?
WHY do I need to have A HUGE label S E T T I N G S taking half of my screen !!!!!
Has everyone gotten NUTS ?!? WHYYYYYY ?!?!?
WHY do Android has to look like iOS ?!? WHYYYYY ?!?!?!?
So, in my worst stage of desperation, I would like to kindly ask you, if somebody doesn't have a skin, which could fix things up ?
Or maybe some talented programmer would finally say ENOUGH and develop something like that ?!?
Many many thanks in advance !!
same as mine. I regret after updating.
