Try reflashing ftf again. For that do the following steps:
1. Take battery off the phone
2. Wait 10 seconds
3. Open flashtool -> select the firmware -> click ok
4. When the window to put phone in flashmode appears, plug the battery in your phone again
5. Hold volume down and while holding connect phone to pc. Don't press anything else, just hold volume down
6. Wait until the flasing process has ended
And now you should be fine

Oh man each and every guide regarding unlocking bootloader advices u to Not to accept any OTA updates. Why did u do that?

please mark this thread with [SOLVED] tag if your ploblem is solved.

Stuck at SE logo (BRICKed)

Hi everyone,
I flashed incorrect kernel for my baseband and broke my x10 now it just stuck at se logo. I would just go into recovery but I'm pretty sure the charegmon file thats on my system at the moment is not monitoring the back button.
so no recovery
Phone is also not going into flashmode so i cant use flash tool to flash a new rom with correct kernel etc.
so no flash mode
Usb seems to be broken aswell since before i flashed incorrect kernel it would not charge any ideas on what i can do if anything.
so usb broken
my next port of call would be to send it in for repair on usb but prob not to sony center as its not stock and therefore void of warranty
Already have new phone and upgrade due (probably going to get s3 but would like to get this phone working too)
( When i switch on it vibrates once but no leds )
Thanks

[Q] Soft bricked Xperia 10 HELP!

I was trying to root the phone before unlocking bootloader... yes i know bootloader should be unlocked first (Thats how i did my nexus s). So heres the problem, when i used flashtool (from this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1196808) to root the phone and i finished the kernel downgrade, and since it said to unplug the phone than, power on the device, and once you feel a vibration, immediately plug in the cable, i did and its just not doing anything now, the root button isnt popping up. Than i accidently closed flashtool and now the phone is stuck on the sony ericsson boot screen.
I was planning to do this: Unlock Bootloader -> Root Phone -> Flash desired rom/kernel
I dont need anything in my phone so i dont care if everything in there is lost. So if anyone knows what to do at this point please try and help me. Thanks in advance

[Q] xperia ray stuck after sony update

Hi, I have a orange network locked xperia ray st18i locked bootloader. I downloaded pc companion and did a software update and all went well. The phone booted up fine after the update until I shut it down and since then I have been unable to get passed the SE screen. It just hangs there. I am able to enter flash mode by pressing the down button and plugging the usb in. Tried phone repair option and still no jog.
Today I tried to unlock the bootloader using the pin touching menthod but that didnt work either. Said something like fatal error....
I need to unlock the bootloader to try a alternative rom to see if that works or revert back to the stock orange rom it came with but im cannot find this anywhere. I am a learner so any advice would be helpful. CAn anyone suggest a rom for the ray that can be installed using flash method WITHOUT unlocked bootloader? I am a **** for doing the uprgrade via sony website but I didnt think this would happen. should have left it as it was.
Thanks for reading.
Take your battery out and try reflashing again using SEUS.
Thread moved to Xperia Ray Q&A.
Yes I have tried that many times already and it finishes the update correctly but still hangs on the SE logo when turned on. I tried again just to see if anything has changed. When I connected the phone whilst pressing the down vol button it recognised it and said your phone already has the latest software but I re installed anyway. No change in result though.
Sony have asked to send the phone to repair and they will reply with a quote for fixing it. Has anyone used this service before and how much can i expect to pay for a software install? Repair office is in Ashford, kent.
thanks

HAD YOU READ THE FIRST PART OF MY GUIDE YOU WOULD ALREADY KNOW. Had you even read the stickys in the General section you would have found one.
Right so I created the .ftf file from the three update files. Ive downloaded x10 flash tool. I connect the phone and flashtools registers that a phone is connected then start the flash but soon after the phone just gets disconnected.

Download the latest flashtool (I guess it's 0.9.x) and install it. Go to the drivers folder and install all the drivers for all the phones and modes. Now you launch flashtool, but don't connect the phone! Click on the flash -> flashmode -> select the ftf and don't exclude anything (you have the ability on the right site).
Now click OK and the screen to connect the phone in flashmode appears. Shut down the phone, wait 20 seconds, hold volume down and while holding volume down connect the phone to PC.
Wait until the flashing process has finished and hope it'll start!

it doesn't matters where you are... Download flashtool... Install it... Then you need a firmware file for your phone... Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2047914.. Download whichever firmware file you want... .587 is recommended... If you want you can have .631 also... after downloading the .ftf file, place it in firmwares folder of the flashtool installed folder... open flashtool.. Click on lightning icon.. It will ask 'flashmode' or 'fastboot'.. select flashmode... Then select the .ftf which you placed now.. Uncheck 'no final verification' option... Then connect your phone to the PC by holding the back button on ur phone... After the flashing is finished, switch on your phone... its done..

If LED is turning on, then its a good news that your phone is not dead. If nothing is getting displayed on the screen, then you might have fried up the internal circuitry. I have ended up with it. It cost me 25% of mobile's cost to get it repaired again.

Flash a new ftf file. There is a guide for it. Phillip Wu's thread has all the steps. Go through the steps about flashing new stock firmware.
Xperia Neo L bricked ....
Hi All,
I think i have bricked my xperia neo l to a pretty bad shape.....Please help me ...
1)I rooted the phone sucessfully with the kit developed by DoomsLord
2)I installed the cwm recovery, took backup.
3)I did not flash the kernel but went ahead with the ICS revolution ROM Xperia NEO L:crying:
4)Installation of ICS went fine but the phone was stuck in the boot mode. Sony screen used to come and device used to boot......
Here is the stupid part..
5) I tried to go to recovery it didn`t work.. I thought maybe the kernel is a problem..I used the ICS kernel and flashed it.
Nothing works now...When i connect my cell to the laptop windows says device not recognized..I am trying to go to flashboot mode not working...Is there a way to fix it ? If yes please provide me any pointers...

Dear friend.....
First, charge ur device at least 2hours....
When u charge ur phone, try to read carefully every step how install the custom rom u want....
After that...
-Flash full firmware via flashtool (flashmode)
Let ur phone on first...
And after ur phone works, its up to u maybe u want to continue another step to install custom rom u want....
But dont forget to flash the custom kernel recommended by the dev first before u do another step....
(flash custom kernel via fastboot)...
Hope it help and good luck.....

[Q] Xperia sola blocked on Sony screen

Hi guys, i don't know how to solve a problem with my Sola. I read the recover soft-brick guide for xperia models but i can't solve it. I think i bricked.
When i try to turn on it's on Sony screen and there's nothing to do. I can use on flash mode and flash the kernel but the result is the same when i turn on. The led works like green in flash mode, or red when i finish the flash and the device is still connected. I have a locked bootloader, and all this happened when i wanted to restore a backup, i probably made a mistake: do a full wipe after that. I think that's is still in warranty, isnt' it? What can i do? There are some tips on the tutorial but i'm afraid to kill the battery or make other mistakes. Please help me guys.
And sorry for my bad english =(

Yes and flash is ok but when i turn on it's still on sony screen...i waited about 5 minutes. I tried with 6.1.1.B.1.54 and with 6.1.1.B.1.1.0 with same result. I know i have to wait after flash a stock firmware but i see it's too much time. Maybe because when i want to switch off i have to use hard reset (i mean with all 3 button). I don't know..thanks to reply in any case

In any case, if you don't solve the issue by yourself, your phone is still in warranty (just don't say to the reparation service that you played with flashtool )

You tried with the Sony PC Companion/Update Service? It uses flashmode.. When I bricked my U i had relocked my bootloader and flashed via PC Companion... Worked for me :fingers-crossed:
Press thanks if I helped:good:
Try to start from the beginning, and follow the instructions carefully.
