Please suggest me kernel and ROM - XPERIA X10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm new in all this so I don't have any aknowledge. How much I use my X10 tells the fact that I charge it twice a day. After 2 years I decided to root it and install something new. I thought I can get even more from this good device but so far I didn't find anything better, just worse. On stock gingerbread I had problems with audio stuttering but I applied a fix and solved the problem. But I wanted something faster and better so I put gingerbread port from Xperia S. It is faster, it looks amazing, it has many new features but Spotify doesn't work (and you guess, I can't live without it), device sometimes power off itself on 19% battery remaining, my 3G connection is unstable (it stops working because speed fall from 2 Mbps, for example, on 0.05 Mbps and it's unpossible to surf. I get Connection lost (in market and Opera). Market dissapears often etc etc. So, congrats to author on his effort an time he spent, but it's definitely not a ROM (or Kernel, I don't know which fault it is) for every day use.
I wanted to try MIUI but somebody said that it's a bit laggy and that there are problems with GPS and app2sd. I wanted ICS but there are problems with tethering and camera.
Is there ANY kernel & ROM that will get the maximum potential from X10 with everything working fine? Or maybe I should ask, which kernel & ROM are the best?
It must have
- fully working camera (8 Mpx, HD recording, flashlight, autofocus, Vignette app etc.)
- fully working and stabile 3g/wi-fi and calls/messages, of course
- working tethering (usb and wi-fi)
- NO AUDIO STUTTERING!!!
- working Spotify (probably weird and funny bug but for me crucial)
- Bravia Engine
- xLoud
- Beats Audio (if it's possible, the one with EQ that affects all sound played on device to be able to use it with Spotify)
- working app2sd (I don't want to install games and apps in internal memory!!)
- without problems with market and other things
- ... (and EVERYTHING other that works on stock gingerbread)
Performance
At least as on stock gingerbread or faster and smoother, without all unneccesarry apps and crap that get with it. I don't use timescape, facebook, gmail, chinese keyboard etc. The same for battery duration; the same or better!
Design
I like everything that is fancy and stock gingerbread design got bored. I felt in love with MIUI on first look but I never sacrifice performance or functionality for design so I can bear with standard design if there's no fancy ROM with everything I need. Furthermore, there are lots of launchers with plenty of themes even I prefer already themed ROM better than launcher.
I'm sorry if somebody found this as a spam or requesting. I didn't mean it like that, I'm just confused in all that ROM's and Kernels And I think that it would be useful for all us who doesn't want to experiment with our X10, just a stable good ROM and Kernel to get the most of it.
Thank you!

Try DonutHD 2.2.9 rom and th n5-1 kernel. This is the fastest rom I ever try...

have you tried oodie miui or cobrato's miui??they have 8mp and hd recording and other thing's also good...
mooke electra is a nice rom too...nice ui...speedy.
.but hd recorder is laggy...lower than hd is fine...

No, I tried only this for now. There are plenty of ROMs and I find it fun to try and experiment but I don't have much time so I wanted to hear a few good options to try and settle down for now with one of them until I get some time to experiment more. Sorry for wasting your time.
I'll take a look on these 2 MIUIs and mooke electra.
About DonutHD, I was reading and it seems that this is what I want. Fast, lite, xperia s theme, xloud, bravia engine and all that + addons for status bar etc etc. I believe that I can install Beats audio as well and seems that everything is working. But I'm confused. There are more versions (probably I should use the newest: 2.2.9) but there are also more XperiaS updates and it writes "DON'T USE WITH NEW VERSIONS". New versions of what? What does it mean?
Thank you guys a lot, I appreciate your help! :good:

Wow, this looks beautiful. As I said in PM, I repaired my phone, rooted and installed recovery again, unlocked BL and flashed Oodie's MIUI. Now I will test and see how it works. If it would be laggy or have some major bugs, I will flash donut hd. Thanks for screenshoots.

Hi! I'm currently using DonutHD 2.2.9, it's the best so far. But after some time passed, I'm interested if there is a stable fully working ICS for X10? I was looking through forum but on every one there are some problems with camera. Is there any? Thanks!

You're totally right, later I'll try I know sometimes I'm a lil too lazy OMG xD
Let you know something later
OK, nice try...my first MIUI i notice such iUI exists but decided to try for first now....
First i was searching for "app drawer" button in the middle of bottom bar....then i realized it might not exist on MIUI
It looks like to be mdeejays last version with MiHome lanuncher over Rosie.
BT - paired with other devices, but not able to send receive files. (not tried handsfree)
WiFi - working
3D videos - working, no 3D images
CAM - working (2D mode as expected)
First unlock i had to unlock HTC screen, than MIUI screen...now stays only MIUI unlock screen...
Web Browsing looks to be pretty quick - gonna put SIM card in as right now browsing on WiFi tether from other phone next to me. So will try normal phone usage for some hours and DATA/3G speeds (bit slow data on last mdeejays at me)
USB mass storage - works
Sim card in - WiFi hot spot definitelly not works!
USB tether - works on Windows -DOES NOT work, was just doing like it works, loaded drivers, installed succesfully but no internet connection
...ok, for me MIUI not my taste
seems to be pretty same as mdeejays eclipse which is the base...but i was able to set up SkyDrive account for HTC sense (not able with mdeejays last one) - will play with that - so far SkyDrive works nice. (android will survive
SkyDrive works pretty fine also on 3G - altough open 1,5 MB xlsx file give "low memory" dialog and closes Olive office. (Will try other - preffered Kingston office".)
Again, ROM is complete mdeejays thing, just Miui launcher, deleted from system, copied rosie to system and voila...(rom has all sense things (yes it is about 460MB) so nothing stripped....dev should at least delete all htc stuff like vladbielsky in his AOSP feel...feel of MIUI is just miui launcher, which can everybody install itself from market.
@ianbbaa:
I didn't want to strip down the rom!
It shouldn't be a MIUI rom, it should be Sense 4.0 with MIUI features, as the launcher and the permissions system.
Also I will include MIUI music and MIUI Filebrowser.
Another developer for Gsm.. Nice..

Dont get me wrong, but...
...deleting rosie.apk from your rom, it is not sense 4 rom anymore...stripping down the rom means delete all those widget stuff which doesnot work on other launchers expect rosie.apk!!! Hopefully later on you will get deeper MIUI integration - now we have just mdeejays sense 4.0, deleted rosie.apk replaced with miui apk....look it needs more work to style mooore things to be like "sensemui" you promised.
Nice man, I am happy that you got your Rom.
P.S.:I will send you my "secret" tweaks, what are making my Rom so ultra fast.
Wish you good look.

Here's an idea! Instead of complaining about the stuff he didn't do, go and cook your own MIUI Rom with everything you've suggested here, then release it and see how everyone else is positive, supportive, and encouraging of someone who's trying their hand at developing. Everyone, except you it seems.
Good work on the Rom here! Always appreciative of someone taking time out of their lives to make something and give it freely to the E3D community.
PS. I'm sure many of us also appreciate your lengthy feedback regarding working/not working elements. So just go easy on the new developer

Frequently Asked Questions
Will you make a CM10.1 kernel/ROM (Android 4.2.x) ? No, read here why.
The compass is spinning randomly in Google Maps. This is a bug in Google Maps that only Google can fix. It is possible to use an old version without this problem.
Wi-Fi hotspot doesn't completely turn off, will you fix it? No, see here for a workaround.
What is working and what is not working? See here for a list.
Why is 720p video recording disabled? See here for an explanation.
Why don't you include TWRP anymore? Mainly because backup doesn't work properly and because there are too many problems, which will probably not be fixed because Xperia 2011 devices are not supported.
Can you explain how SmartassV2 boost support works? Yes, see here.
The clock force closes, what can I do? See here.
Which automatic backlight settings do work? See here.
See here for more frequently asked questions.

Feature requests, bug reports, comments, etc are welcome.
Off-topic is in the spirit of helping each other allowed in this thread.
Maybe it is a good idea to discuss derived works here too, since most stuff will be common.
There is no permission needed to use my work, but letting me know you did use my work is appreciated (maybe I can learn something from it).
It is not very difficult to build the kernel and/or ROM yourself with the provided script, see here for details.
The script can be used for other SE 2011 devices too. If you get stuck somewhere, I will try to help you.
Please share your own patches, if you have any (you can do a pull request).

-extended kernel+rom solve some of the problem and bug from mesa/stock kernel+stock cm10 rom

No need to say 'sorry'.
I don't know and I don't see the need myself.
The OOM priorities are already changed as supercharger does.
And using MinFreeManager makes it complete enough for me.
M66B, some of your modifications and patches are very interesting, and I will try out your ROM now with 151! But why don't you work together with the FXP team and implement your extended features (or at least some of them) into the official FXP ROM?
And thanks for opening a new, separate thread! Even though I doubt that post related to your ROM cluttered up the FXP thread a lot, compared to all those "where are my gapps, ..."-threads

Almost all changes in the extended kernel/ROM will not be accepted by CM/FXP because of their philosophy (and there is nothing wrong with that).
So is there any solution to the sudden reboots? They occur in very simple situations like browsing, scrolling through the gallery or watching video.
One more bug I noticed - the JB browser is jumping frames of sites, behaves weird on some sites and is significantly slower than the browser of CM9.1. The touch of some buttons on sites is a real challenge, because the page is jumping, disappearing and appearing until being full loaded. So when changing pages it's very easy to press the neighbouring button, instead the one you need. Could the ICS browser not be implemented in that ROM?
The cache needs regular wiping and restarting the phone after heavy use (browsing, video watching & so on) to allow the GPS module to turn on - no solution for that bug since CM9 till now. If you don't wipe cache and restart the phone, neither the GPS finds any satellites, nor the GPS blinking icon appears in the Status bar. And worse, even after cache wiped and phone restart, the phone reboots a few minutes later while being under heavy use.

I don't have sudden reboots, except when watching video, which is a known FXP problem I have tried to fix for days now, unfortunately without any result.
The browser is entirely provided by CM/Google. It is a complicated piece of software I am not going to look into. This problem will most probably also exists in the 'standard' FXP release.
Try using MinFreeManager to keep your memory under control.
GPS in Google Maps is also a known problem in the FXP release, which I am not going to look into too.
(although it annoys me too, but I have to choose what I do with my time)
It probably be a stupid question but...Do I need to full wipe to install your FXP 151 ROM? I come from your 149 ROM. And, how could I know when I have to do full wipe to install your ROM? Any particular changes say it?
Good idea to make this thread.

It is like a new FXP release. No wipes are needed.
In general wipes are only needed when switching to a ROM with another base or in case of problems.

Ok! I'll install it right away! Thanks
Don't know why but my phone is really slow :\ Even after a reboot, it takes a lot of time to open/close apps. It needs like 2 seconds to open contact list. I did a fresh install 2 days ago. I didn't have those problems with your CM9 extended rom, or mesa kernel+cm10. I'm not complaining, but i want to know if its just my problem or this rom is like that for everyone.
Its simple why your phone is slow.
Xperia 2011 line up doesnt are build for support JB as well a Galaxy S3 support.
But the rom is quite cool, thanks m66b.
I' m not using gmaps at all for years, but sygic aura, igo or ndrive. They all don't work when cache goes full - simply the GPS module doesn't turn on and its icon is missing on the status bar.
It's a pity thing with the jb browser. Very annoying and it's so bad that videos cannot be watched within it and using flash player. Even my old x10 mini is treating far better live streams within browser, using flash player under GB CM7.2 It does not crash suddenly or restart the phone while watching livestream hd tv.
While sudden reboots appear by me on st15 even while scrolling the xda app or while viewing pics in quickpic gallery. Unfortunately i'll go back to cm9.1 again. Cm10 is not stable enough for daily use for now and maybe forever on Mini st15.
Sent from my Xperia Mini using xda app-developers app
I'm using build 4 for ST15i by Hikari and Xperia Default Keyboard from RudzLong. I used it daily, it's quite fast (running interactive no zram), I don't believe youtube reboots is such a deal breaker, but I wait patiently for the next FXP goodies as it brings a new life to this 'old' phones.
I'm so used to JB I can't get back to previous versions, with or without youtube. It isn't perfect, but it's far better than anything Sony's ever released, and this xtended versions make it even better. CM7.2 is available for all stability + performance, but with the complete lack of cool ICS/JB features. The choice is yours, your mileage may vary

We all know that, but that's not the answer. Normally Xperia 2011 phones will run JB without struggling.

Guys, I really don't know if we are talking about the same ROM or not cus FXP 151 by MB66 WORKS PERFECTLY FINE. Gps icon appears on the status bar, I have no problems using JB browser (actually is just like CM9.1, smooth and fast). The problem of rebooting when watching YouTube videos...I give you that. But beside THAT particular problem, I have no issues or inconvenients at all. Another thing. NEVER, but, NEVER had suddenly reboots.
So try to full wipe (data/factory reset, wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache), flash the ROM, wipe again and install gapps. Obviously, flash the kernel before or right after you installed gapps. Hope your problems solve because I don't have any of them and I'm on a Sk17 too. (Xperia Mini Pro)
Cheers
Thanks for your great work. I hope it can improve memory usage in CM10.

We all know that, but that's not the answer. Normally Xperia 2011 phones will run JB without struggling.

I tried Pimp my Rom, but no visible effects. Tried to supercharge, and nothing. I tried to change governor and scheduler, nothing. My next step is to make a full wipe, even if i did it before install extended rom. i came from mesa+cm10, and with that my phone was like a dual core device! Hope to solve this problem, this extended ROM is awesome!

[MOD ROM][ICS][xperiaMDPI]EVEN BETTER ◢UNLIMITED™◣[12.04.2013]

Hello,
This is a ROM modified by me on the dark for having the best perfomance on all MDPI devices, currently I am using this rom after 1 month trying a lot of roms, this is the ROM I used to make the MOD.
◢UNLIMITED™◣
MOD characteristics:
ALL of ◢UNLIMITED™◣.
Much bugs solved.
Changed the recovery because the other had some bugs.
Almost all junk deleted, so users can download from Play store. ( Did not deleted more because maybe someone need it )
All MDPI functions working.
Titanium backup.
Apex launcher.
Fluid engine included and fixed because the original INSTALLER was bugged.
Changed Gallery to Quickpic.
Changed Camera to Moded Cyber-shot™ v.7.1.2
Added FM radio.
200mb RAM free.
That's all! as you can see this is not like other ROMs that guarantee perfomance but have a lot of junk, maybe seems not much, but I really recommend it, it work even faster than GingerBread, also I have some "present" I managed to fix the spanish keyboard of the SK17 on ICS, that even on the official ROM was not working and all ROMs are made for english keyboard and characters like ?, & was moved or ç was not working, this is the keyboard I am talking about

Disable some desktop screens.
Clean desktop.
Disable Widgets from App drawer.
On Rom control set Toggles Layout to Icon only and hide brightness bar.
On Rom control Perfomance set Free memory to 24mb to use almost all RAM, all apps will load faster but no more 200mb ram free. ( btw why would one want free ram? it is better to use it wisely. )
If you have good eyesight set font size to small on Display.
Deactive junk that you will not use with Titanium backup.
Please if you are using this rom backup all your data with titanium backup and install latest!

First yaaaaay , anyway nice ROM !
Im glad you like my rom and decided to mod it.
But you need to read forum rules.
You have to ask for a permission if you want to use someones work.
I dont mind that you didnt ask me cause u said that you modded my rom.
Which bugs are fixed? Are any rom control bugs fixed?
And you need to list credits if you used work of others and ask for permission to use it.
Good luck with future work.
Screen shots?
Thread cleanded.
@OP please provide proper credits to all people who were involved in this ROM (e.g. kamarush).

Amazing, so i tried pretty much every every rom that there is on the first 2 pages of xda dev for sony active.
I started with the ones that had best replies and most downloads.
Some was fast and smooth but drained all battery.
Many had very annoying bugs.
Some looked kinda horrible.
So much work and i never found anything i liked.
So i tried this one, very few replies and not much info at all.
And its the best so far!!
Supersmooth, looks really well and no bugs that cant be fixed instantly.
even underclocked the rom is faster then others.
And battery is very good!
First i needed to calibrate touch for install..had to be done.
You deserve much thanks for this rom!
(If its this good from the first creator then he needs a thank you also)

[ROM][4.0.4] ICS Original [29/5/2013]

Hi everyone, I hope i'm not doing anything wrong with this thread, in that case please moderators just delete it.
From some time i was looking for a stock sony ics for our Xperia Play WITH NO MODIFICATIONS at all, like small apps, other SystemUI, new widgets, new launcher etc etc. i just wanted the same ICS other XPeria 2011 have but functional 100% for our Xperia Play, as it should be if Sony had eventually released ICS for us.
So since Xperia Neo is basically the same as Xperia Play (just the camera inverted and no gamepad) i took this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2269700 as a base and then i make the following modifications /improvements.
1- Re-orginized the rom and folders
2- Debloated. In particular i delete the following apps:
AAstock
McAfee Security
Messenger Microsoft
Office Suite
Wisepilot
Maps
Youtube
3- Installed Adreno ICS driver for 2XX gpu (I was surprised in found out that Sony DOESN'T INSTALL THOSE ADRENO DRIVERS IN
OFFICIAL FIRMWARES FOR XPERIAS 2011 ! )
4- Fixed browser bug (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40423492&postcount=118 Another incredible thing is that that bug is
present in official firmwares from sony based .631 and sometimes .567)
5- Deodexed /framework (Thank u Bakisha, sewer56lol and vokal1992 for help)
6- Added a little FIle Manager
7- Other little adjustments (thanks Krisdee)...
What i have now is simply what Sony should give us a long time ago (funny: 25/5/2012 Sony canceled ICS and now almost precisely 1 year after (29/5/2013) i'm posting this rom), so this rom has no bugs. But also no boosts, no tweaks, etc etc
Again, i'm no developer (i just learn how te decompile/recompile, using Kitchen XDA and Apktool just a few days ago) and yes, anyone could have this result starting with neo rom, in a few minutes, but i'm posting this rom for 2 reasons:
A- Everybody seems to interestes in multi-featured roms, having Small Apps, System UI with goggles, Album, Walkman, etc etc and nobody
is doing something like this
B- I think people like me wich are kinda "noob" dont' have time for "built" a rom like this, so i guess for those guys this rom will be usefull.
Again, i'm no developer and i just did some modificiations to neo rom (wich by the way already some patches for Xperia Play) and i hope this post is not totally useless
Instructions:
1-Flash R800_4.0.2.A.0.79.ftf (if u already flashed atleast once, no need. I think u already know this) http://files.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390350787562963052

3-Enter CMW, format data, cache, dalvik cache

Edit:
A little information:
-The rom is already rooted but lackd of an app for it. So the first thing u should do it's download from Google Play SuperSu or Superuser
-If u feel u have problems of ram, feel free delete some stuff like.
Facebook
Fun & Downloads
Help
LiveWare Manager
Media Shortcut
Play Now
Track ID 3.41 (the old one)
Xperia Gallery
Update Center
Performance Assistant

etc etc..
-I suggest a modest overclock, 1.2 ghz or 1.4 ghz will be ok...
ICS Original +
Well, the first post was about Sony would had done.
This post is about what I would had done.
Just a little differences:
- Stock ICS Xperia 2012 Launcher (much more smooth than the original and with no bugs and perfectly compatible)
- SystemUI with simple toggles, center clock and percentage inside battery (i have this SystemUi from som time now and i dont remember who did it and who i have to thank. Sorry for this, if the author is readinf this, just pm!)
(This could be buggy: you could see some "MyXperia has stopped working", most of the times when reboot the phone. Nothin serious, but if u find it annoying, just disable MyXperia for good)
- MyXperia included MyXperia (before activate it, enable gps location otherwise u see a lot of "My Xperia has stopped working"):
. Xperia 2012 ICS Keyboard (The original one is very ugly, let's admit it. This is the one thing really can''t stand on original rom. By the way, as u can see in pic, now emoticon dont have the bug, wich u couldn't view every on of them)
Download link: ICS Original +
I'll test it and report soon ... Thanks for your contribution .... We appreciate it..
Anyway, no bugs at all until now....
Good Job

I agree with Dany, Sony should made this ICS for play. Even it's slower than GB, it is great for everyday use. Most of the games are compatible, and they could made their version of touchpad activator app... Yes, avaible RAM is lower, but only few heavy games have lag. Rest have maybe fewer frames rates, but are still fully playable.
Look at fragos rom, it can run most games fine, even mc4, all Sony had to do was get of their lazzy bumbs, lol
I 120% Agree w/ U!

btw: seems the file got deleted...

Yes i think that it coulde be a good base rom too, since once u flashed u can add all the tweaks we usually do in other roms
Unfortunately i can't test Playstation Pocket but if i remember correctly i read somewhere (dont remember when or where) that in ICS it can't work. (Btw i use FPse even on GB....)

Its only for r800i/a. You can flash it on the r800x but then it will become a WiFi only device and no service will work. So if you use your r800x as an actual phone don't flash this.
I don't use mine as a phone because I have no service because im overseas.
Has anyone tested FIFA 12 on here? If that hand works well then I'd love to try this (im assuming touchpad fix is included)

As u can see from the screenshot, there's navigation bar at 160... If u meant notification bar, thats the only thing that does not appear
I'm gonna go back to aosp now.. Gonna try PAC nightly n see if it got any better since earlier builds from last week...
Will come back to stock Sony 4.4.2 if n when I find some way to get the notification bar fixed.. Coz that's an important part to miss out on..
GPE is kool with low DPI, plus it has xreality n sound enhancements from Sony too.. Walkman n other sony apps can be side loaded... I like the sony email app... Should be a way to get that ported too can be too.. Haven't tried it yet... What makes u stick to Sony ROM as such? Same reason as me? Why don't u also try one of the several aosp based custom Roms available for ZU (not even close to other phones but there r enough roms) ??? Every single one of them supports usage at 220 that u seem to like..
Anyway, if u do find a fix, please pm me. I don't mind coming back to Sony KitKat at any time... I never like to keep same ROM more than a few days.. I get bored quickly..
Glad to see I am not the only one to face this problem...

can you give link aosp rom please i will try it
sorry for bad english
Also note that for someone to debug this issue would mean, for me at least, a good 1/2 hour to back up their current rom, install/restore a 4.4.2 Sony image. The try and figure out if the user was on a locked bootloader, how was it rooted RIC enableed/disabled what kernel they were on, what launcher they were using etc.
I suspect more advice would have been more forth coming had the OP been better populated with info.
hi
we must find a solution for this problem
Couldn't resist.
But really, mimoun my man, editing the DPI is something that's not really "supported," you know? Yes you are able to do it. Yes you can sometimes set different DPI values without breaking anything. But now it looks like you've just gone over the threshold.

To Spicemaster, as the stock system.ui and framework is heavily modded by Sony, they don't really go very well with extreme density changes. 320 with small icons works well for me with the rest using app settings for low density.

yes, i know its because of Sony's modded systemui... i'd posted hoping someone's figured a way to bypass whatever's preventing only the notification drawer from being access at lower densities than original... the thing is, every version of Sony ROM till date had some issues or another at lower DPI... 4.3 sony firmware prevented accessing phone app and phonebook as well, which were critical issues in comparison, and therefore, i never got to enjoy the official firmware... from the day i bought this phone back in sept last year soon as the LTE variant was out in the market, i'd used the official 4.2.2 firmware just for a day before i voided warranty and unlocked bootloader to load PA just to get to use the phone the way i want my phone to be, i wouldnt adjust my lifestyle to fit the phone's limits - no, it has always been the other way around for me... when 4.3 was out in dec, then too, just got to use it for a day, moved back to aosp because of these limits... for this time, with sony 4.4.2 - is the only occasion where sony rom works quite well at low dpi (except for no access to notification drawer)... everything else works perfectly thanks to kitkat's revamped framework.... i dont have to use customized roms when there's latest android variant available as stock rom... because my accessories like sbh52 n such just work like magic on stock firmware... and nowadays there's xposed modules for any customization u otherwise miss being on stock.. so if despite my hesitation to post here (coz i know what the village idiots here are like), i'd posted a thread hoping to find someone else who has a better understanding of the framwork than me, and could work together in finding out a solution to this problem (because this is the first time a stock rom is fully functional at lower DPIs - so it has never been as easy as this until now to get it to be a 100% customizable firmware at the same time being in the latest available from google as well)... thats why i'd posted my question and eventually been contacted by OP here and started replying here.
I thought surpassing limits is what development is about, and not just copy pasting things that are already answered by someone else, just to get thanks from newbies and increase in total posts.
@mimoun103
you can use any custom rom available in either of these sections:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z-ultra/orig-development
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z-ultra/development
Having tried every build (alphas, pre-betas, nightlies) of every rom (released to public) like FXP, PA, PAC, Krabappel's PureAOSP kitkat, Whats now called Omni-Kang, GPE port from doomlord, Unofficial and official CM builds, AOKP, Carbon, Slim from 4.3 to 4.4, i can guarantee that you can use your phone at all LCD densities ranging from 160 to 320 on all these AOSP based builds.
i can guarantee because i've used 160lcd density on several nightlies of all these ROMs. I flash different buiilds every now and then, i get bored when i reach limits of each rom.
good luck getting help around here.
I'm done.
