[Q] OS services keep using my data - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all.
I know that there are a lot of similar topics, but I cannot find any solution in them.
I have a i9100 device that keep increasing my data usage.
I noticed about this a couple of weeks ago, and I tried to understand what app keeps downloading/uploading data, discharging my battery very fastly.
I downloaded MyDataManager to "keep an eye" on data usage:

}
I have also disabled Google Play's autoupdate.
How can I solve that problem?
Technical specifications:
- Samsung STOCK rom
- Kernel Siyah 4.1.5
- No extweaks
- No changed profile
If you need something else, just ask!
Thanks, anyway

Please, close this thread, I'll repost that in the right section.

[Q] Media server battery drain

Hi all
I have just upgrade my i9300 to 4.1.1.
Can soon I found that there is battery drain when I have music playback (using poweramp)
I know listening to music will use more battery of cause but I did not have this problem when I was on 4.0.4.
The detail is
in Setting -> Battery , there is a Media server for Stay awake 1h52m43s
and in BetterBatteryStats AudioOutLock is on the top of the list.
The phone was stay awake during the music playback
I searched on the Internet, seems there is no solution for that and no clear understanding about the issue.
I am now on i9300 Stock 4.1.1 with Kernel SiyahKernel S3 v1.7.
Do anybody has this problem or solutions?
I may provide more details later with some testing.
I upgraded to leaked 4.1.2 with stock kernel
Same result
here's the screenshots

Battery Settings not showing full deatils

Hi,
From last couple of days, battery settings do not show full details about uses but only shows "Android OS" 100%.
I have attached a screenshot of the issue.
I am using UltimaRom if that matters but I don't think it's problem with rom because everything was working fine few days earlier.
Please let me know what could be the issue and how to fix this.

And if I go into "Android OS" more details, the use details are..
CPU total: 248d 13h 37m 13s
Stay awake: 35m 8s
how could cpu total 248d, I just bought it last month.
Sorry for multiple posts but I think I found solution of my problem here.

[Q] [Help]Insane wakelock report

Hello guys. I have had this problem with MK6 ROM and it was the main reason that made me change to NeatRom(which I don't regret).
But lately it has returned and I have no idea why, but my phone is reporting insanely huge CPU wakelocks mainly from a process called AlarmManager (I don't know if it has something to do with the clock but last week my alarm didn't work and I would have lost my time to job if it wasn't my mother).
Do you guys know what can be happening? Is it a system issue or is it some app that is causing this amount of wakelocks?
I do use Greenify and almost everything I don't need is greenified but I have noticed some things like Google+ and S Sugest(which I greenified) just come back no matter what I do.
(Overall phone is behaving a bit slow sometimes too, which didn't happen as soon as I flashed NeatRom.)
Please, any help is welcome

If you want to help, you need to write more about your configuration. At least what ROM, what you have permanently enabled ....
Its eu rom miui stable latest 12.11

You have the latest Miui update. If it doesn't work as it should, a factory reset is the only option (regarding the ROM issue). But you'll lose all your data and settings.
However, battery drainage can be caused by a feature you have turned on or an app you have installed. It is difficult to give advice on this. It is best to compare the endurance with other users of this ROM and if the problem exists only for you, start testing the settings changes.

Noob Question: U5 or U6?

First of all, this is my first post, so hello all and good to meet you
I've been browsing this community for a while, and in my travels I come across these two numbers: either U5 or U6. I've searched my phone settings far and wide but I have no clue where it is or how to find it. Doing a search here or on Google hasn't come up with any results yet either.
Most people who talk about these numbers seem to just know, and it's making me feel mighty silly (which I most likely am)
Thanks for taking the time to click on and answer my question, it's much appreciated
First of all,
Go to Settings > About Phone > Software Information
Then look for Baseband Version and you will see a number after U or after S.
I have attached a picture showing the same.
Hope this helps...
