[Review] CaseCrown Bold Trifold Case Video Review(Galaxy Tab 2 7.0) - Galaxy Tab 2 Accessories

CaseCrown Bold Trifold Case for the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0
I thought I'd do a video review for this case for anyone looking into purchasing a folio case for their GTab2.
I'm not a big fan of faux leather folio cases, but I actually kinda like this one. It provides a good amount of protection and was actually designed around the GTab2. Cutouts are provided for everything and it has a nice magnet enclosure.
Check out the video:
Correction: in my video I stated that it was available in RED, but there is no Red option, just BLACK, PURPLE, navy BLUE, and hot PINK
This is my first video review, so, if I missed anything just ask.

Just saw this on the Amazon site. Although it's not real leather it looks pretty cool. They are marketed for the Viewsonic Viewpad 10 but should fit the gTab since they are almost identical in size. They come in black, red, and brown.

ASUS EEE Pad Transformer Cases by Aurum – Worth checking out!

I bought my Asus EEE Pad Transformer last week and was looking for a case for it. I am very picky, so I searched a lot and found a seller on Amazon that has a wide variety of cases in different colors for the Asus. Because I couldn’t decide on one, I just ordered all three kinds. LoL.
Now I got the cases in the mail today and thought I would make a review, since I was positively surprised.
I ordered a copper colored regular case cover, a black rotating case, and a white carbon fiber case, all sold by a company called Aurum. Since I have all three cases and can compare them now side by side, I will make a review for each one of them.
I had no trouble to fit my Asus in any of the cases. They are all custom made and designed for the Asus Eee Pad and therefore, it is a pretty tight fit when you first try to insert the tablet in the case, but just make sure you push all the way in there and close the “snap” to make sure it doesn’t fall out.
Copper Asus Case by Aurum
Price - $19.95
Pros
• The case has two viewing angles. One is great for watching movies, the other one is very convenient for browsing and typing
• Love the price
• Protects the tablet from bumps, falls, scratches, dirt and dust
• Converts into a stand
• Microfiber Interior in the part where the case sits in for maximum protection from any damage to the tablet
Cons
• Not real leather, but I am not sure if this is really a negative aspect, since real leather does get damaged easily and this material does not (the description does state that it is “fake” leather)
• Not as many viewing angles as the other two cases
Overall Rating (1 – 10) 7 out of 10

Black Rotating Case for Asus by Aurum
Price – $24.95
Pros
• Has a rotating “separate” case that you can rotate all the way around (360 degrees)
• You can detach that “separate” case and conveniently hold your tablet on your knees for example
• Many different viewing angles that can be easily adjusted
• Protects the tablet from bumps, falls, scratches, dirt and dust
• Rare copper color, very interesting
• Converts into a stand with unlimited viewing angles
Cons
• Not real leather
• They only have this case in copper and black, I wish they offered this case in white
Overall Rating (1 – 10) 8 out of 10

White Asus Carbon Fiber Case by Aurum
Price – $29.95 (I bought mine for $39.95, but they just lowered the price)
Pros
• Durable Material
• Great design – it has an infinitely adjustable stand with little Velcro feet
• The material looks even better in reality than on the picture and has a cool feel to it
• Love the white color
• Super light weight
• Camera and sensor are easily accessible
• Converts into a stand with unlimited viewing angles
• Microfiber Interior for maximum protection from any damages to the case
• Aurum offers this case in black and red as well
• Professional and unique look
Cons
• There was a black little dot on the white material, which initially made me very upset, but I took a rag and was able to remove it
• I didn’t receive my bonus stylus with this case  But I contacted the seller and he immediately replied that he was sorry and would send it on Monday
• More expensive than the other cases
Overall Rating (1 – 10) 9.5 out of 10

Additional Comments
Love that you get free shipping for orders over $40
Shipment got delivered in an acceptable time frame. I ordered the case last week Sunday and received it today, 6 day delivery from time of payment.
The cases’ basic features are very similar, but I have decided to keep the white carbon fiber case and will keep the other two cases to give out as Christmas presents, since the Asus Eee Pad is popular in my family and I am overall happy with each of the cases.
I think I will purchase a screen protector from them now (review will follow once I receive it and try it out). After each time I use my Asus, it gets on my nerves to have my fingerprints all over it =/
If you also purchased this case, feel free to share your thoughts on it, I am curious how it works for everyone else.
Ditto! Great cases
I also bought the rotating case by Aurum, but I bought it in Black.
Here is my experience with it so far:
I had only seen the regular non-rotating cases before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I decided to go ahead and order it.
To my surprise, this turned out to be such a great product!!
On the picture it may look like the case adds quite a bit of weight to the Asus Pad, but it is lightweight and great to carry your tablet around in.
I can access all of my buttons and my camera and it really is two cases in one!!
You can protect your tablet from spills, dirt and dust by leaving it in the case and even when you want to watch videos, you can conveniently rotate the inner part of the case. The back part of it transforms into a stand that holds your tablet securely in place, which allows for hands free movie watching.
Another great thing is that it is specifically designed for the Asus Tab, so that it fits in there perfectly.
What is really great is that the 360 degree rotation allows your tablet to either stand in a horizontal or in a vertical position.
When I searched for some alternative rotating cases, I only found ONE other one, however that one is causing users to have issues, because it doesn't have a hole for the charger, making it impossible to charge your tablet, while it's in the case. This case by Aurum is by far the best I was able to find!!!
I read this review on Amazon, did you just copied it?
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Yes, I copied my own review I left them on their Amazon Page in here.
Have you ever purchased any of their products?
How do the cases fit with the dock?
They fit perfectly
FYI had a very disappointing experence with AURUM customer service. I return my case after it took two emails to get them to ok the return. They will not give you a full refund unless evrything is return in new condition. So if you open something they will discount that from your refund amount. I only open the case so I was able to return the screen savor and styles. But now they claim the styles is missing and was charged $4.99. After I forward them a picture of all items return their response was niece picture. The money was not a big deal id was dishonesty was the part I hated. Just beware CS sticks.
Hi bologdl,
Sorry to hear you had a bad experience with them =/
Obviously I can only speak for myself, but I was very satisfied with them.
Hope you have more luck with your next case
So I might have missed this but, did you keep all of them? If so what one do you use most?
I bought a rotating case identical to the one posted here, and trying to pop the case onto the sleeve almost broke the screen on the TF
How useless is a removable case if you have to take the F'in tablet out before you detatch or attach it to the sleeve
I bought an aurum case (different model) & screen protector combo off Amazon a while back. Quality was severely lacking and returned both. They were easy to deal with for the return, though.

nice looking

Any other people purchase this Aurum rotating case? I am considering it, as I want to be able to prop the tablet up portrait-style in bed when I am reading at night.
Also, one person said the screen protector was poor quality as well? They have a case/protector combo for 35 shipped right now that seems acceptable, but I'd like to hear more feedback from my trusted XDA folks before I spend the cash.
If only that awesome Tuff Luv tri-axis case wasn't 140 freakin bucks, I'd buy it.

ZENUS Galaxy S2 Case 'Air Jacket' Monochrome Series

Just wanted to let you guys know that the "ZENUS Galaxy S2 Case 'Air Jacket'" does fit on the att version of the galaxy s2. It doesn't cover the secondary mic but it does have extra cutouts that are needed for the international edition ill post some pics so you can see what I'm talking about. So far I really like the case it hardly adds any weight or thickness to the phone. They also have it in black incase you don't like the white. Case on Amazon

The back piece is "leather" its a thin layer that the they stuck on the back of the case. I wouldn't consider it leather but it does add a nice design to the case. Im still satisfied with the case regardless

Imak Colorful Raindrop Case Review

I bought this case for its really unique look. The picture I saw was for the black note but I knew it would look really awesome on my white note. The case is very thin hard plastic (not flexible at all even though the website states it is) with design of rain drops imbedded into the plastic, the water drops are actually raised up making the back have a strange texture and causing it to be super slippery. I was afraid to keep it on too long as I feared dropping it. It does not provide very much protection at all its more for show and scratch protection for the back, the gradient color from blue to clear makes it very nice looking. I found this one ebay but ended up buying from obostore for $7.99 with free shipping. It was shipped very fast too. I have provided pictures and link to store I bought it from. I would use it for scratch resistance only, I ended up not using it because of the above issues but it did look great! I still use my TPU case for better protection for the sides and screen of the device. There is no lip to protect the screen on this case and top and bottom sides are open. Buy it for the looks not the protection. I bought the blue one but it also available in black, yellow, pink and white. Also note that it comes with a screen protector but it is for the international version with the home button.

Thanks! I was curious about the Ringke Slim as I have one arriving tomorrow. It's safe to say that I'll be ditching my Bugdroid TPU case for that one permanently.

I tend to use the Ringke when I'm in or around the office, or just want the phone to look nice.
I seem to lean more towards throwing my Bugdroid on when out of the office for the grip and a little added security.
It's situational for me. The Ringke looks great, but it can be a bit slippery at times.

Yeah, but on previous Ringke Slim cases I've had I've found that the white is slippery while the black finish is much more "flat" textured and ads much more grip, similar to the flat black TPU cases. This is one reason why I went with the black one this time too. It arrives today and I'll report back with the feel of it.

That would suggest that the colored variants have some sort of textured backing then. Definitely interested to hear back on that.
I was debating a black, but I wanted it quick and figured I'd just do a custom paint job myself if I wanted a different color.
Really wanna get the ringke but owning one for my nexus 4 I found that they scratch the phone.

They do. I remember this being the way it was previously. The white one was very slick and almost shiny. The black was a rougher texture and more of a matte look. However, after doing some more reading just now, it appears that the gunmetal one has the same feel as the white one. So if you want more texture you have to go black.
And, in looking at my order again I was reminded that I ordered gunmetal and not black. Looks like I'll need to place another order.

I haven't had any issues, yet. But I can see where it could possibly scratch has it is not the simplest of cases to remove.

Hopefully you ordered with Amazon, they have a great return/refund/exchange service. Good news is they are relatively inexpensive.
Updated overviews of the Ringke SLIM & Cruzerlite Bugdroid Circuit cases.
quick question @Andromjb , which one feels more sleek? based on past experiences with other phone, the ringke would be more sleek when compared with the TPU case?
Didnt try cruzerlite before and I wonder if their TPU technology is thinner than other TPU makers like spigen ultra or moody?

The Ringke is by far more sleek.. It's more of a "flashy" type case, keeping the form of the Nexus 6 practically identical.
Cruzerlite is a solid TPU case for the price. It does add a little thickness, most notably around the edges. Provides great grip and mid range drop protection.
Can't go wrong with either case, all comes down to personal preference of course.
On another note, I was recently contacted by Orzly. They will be sending me their Nexus 6 cases for review. Looking forward to receiving their products and hopefully I'll get those hope soon as well.

Hey, is it possible to post more photos of the skin? I only saw two. Interested in some side photos and whatnot. I really want to switch mine to a black cover and get the white N6 cause the white and black thing throws me off, but really dislike the midnight blue color scheme. Thanks if you can

I personally wouldn't put any white on the front of mine, but that's my personal preference. I'm by no means telling you not to if you want that option.
dbrand has a lot of nice pictures up on their site where you can check out of the front options.
Fronts:
Matte White
Leather White
Matte Black
White Carbon Fiber
Black Carbon Fiber
Black Metal
Black Leather
Red Carbon Fiber
I meant you said ebony and ivory together, but you got a black covering. So I am assuming you're talking about the bezel on the side being white or the black front and white cover? I'm confused now hahs
