Try Route66, it has worldwide map selection includes cameras and gives full functionality for a 30 day trial. My only criticism is it does not support post code search.

Yep, CoPilot Live. Has speed camera downloadable database and post code search. £6.99, bargain really for a nav app.
I don't Know if you have waze in Uk but it work fine in France

The latest Google Maps allows you to download map sections for offline use.
I can confirm co-pilot works on Galaxy tab retail 10.1. I do have a 30 day trial apk if you want to test it before you purchase it. It you like it, pm me with your email and I can send it to you. Co-pilot downloads and store maps on to your device. And you have choice to region or states you want to download.

I live in Austria and I'm using stock froyo 2.2.1
My problem: when I try to turn on gps through satellites the icon blinds but it doesn't find me in Google maps or Endomond....
How can I manage my gps to work?
My friend tells me I need a programmed that's called radio (and some numbers now). But I don't know.
How ud you manage to for example use satellites on Google maps

I bought my phone in the UK, and now i am in India for 3 months. However my default location on various apps and also on google now still shows as Glasgow. I am on Omega Version 23.
I want all apps to show my default home location to that of Delhi.
I hope someone can assist me with this.

Yes.
I am using an Indian Sim. On Facebook also my default location is shown as Glasgow. I am in New Delhi right now.

Have you tried using market enabler to change your location? Or switch your gps on and have the apps locate you.

Hi guys, I recentrly tested a few apps from the market changing the location using fake gps points. All of them work perfect but the locations sent via apps ( facebook for example) they show Bing maps not Google ones. I prefer gmaps because for my country they show every single street and building. Bing hasn't done that yet. Could you please advice me what app works with google sources?

I bet Google doesn't use Bing maps lol.
I realized. It depends on what you are viewing the location. If from an android device it shows google. If from a broswer desktop - bing.

You need to restore the TTS directory in /system, link below
