xbox smartglass app does not install to galaxy tab 8.9 is there any way of fixing app so i can be installed...or some sort of work around
I was able to get smartglass working. All you have to is acquire the latest smart glass apk and install.

Xbox smart glass has installed for me although I can't connect to my Xbox with it. Not sure if that's because my gold membership has ran out though. Will renew my gold and see if it lets me connect afterwards...
Old thread, but has anyone gotten this to work? The Market says that it is incompatible.

I just logged in on google play store, it says I can install it on my P7310 now. The 1.5 version. I am on original Dutch 4.0.4 Android:
(Info sam firmware 2012 December 4.0.4 P7310XXLPP P7310PHNLP1) should work on other 4.0.4 versions as well I guess

so how did you get the market to allow tablet downloads to your TP..mine says incompatible if i attempt it from the market.android website...change build.prop?

thats 100% correct, GB and HC have different API's, so tablet apps arent gonna happen till ICS releases and devs update apps with new APIs
What browser are you guys using? I'm using dolphin and although great on my phone I feel its lacking things for the tablet .. any way to get the tablet dolphin version? Or is there a better browser?
Set the screen density to 160 and a lot more apps will work from the android market.

An app called lcddenisty for root in the app market, set the density to 160 and reboot.

Hey guys im at work and just noticed that need for speed is part of the $0.10 apps today in the market, anyone know if it will work on the tp, there are three version?
If not would a build.prop change to let's say nexus s allow it to work?

there is a 3d issue with alpha3. i would buy anyway and run it when future android is stable for our tp. Asphalt 6 works fine on our tp. so if you got a chance to buy it, it's a great buy.
Im on the xron version and its handled all game apps like a champ, probably gonna buy and hold, it's only a dime

I try it, but it's working on my tp, I am using alpha 3, and alread change "nexus s" on build.prop
The next version of xron is supposed to have a new build.prop to have better market access.

The build.prop fix didn't work for NFS Shift, however I have been able to get it to work using my Android phone as a workaround.
Required: TitaniumBackup on both TP and a rooted Android phone.
I was able to install on the TP from the market using the alpha3 build.prop. however, each time I launched NFS It would fail to download game data (NaN error). My HTC Desire HD wasn't showing as compatible with NFS, so I took a titanium backup copy of nfs on the TP and transferred the files to my phone via PC (the files you need are in /sdcard/TitaniumBackup and will have a name beginning with com.eamobile.nfsshift_row_wf)
I restored NFS from backup on the phone, and launched it this time the game data downloaded. I played a single race to make sure it was OK. Using my PC again I copied the game data folder (/sdcard/Android/data/com.eamobile.nfsshift_row_wf) from my phone to the TP in the same location.
Fired it up and it works really well and is proper full screen once the game launches. The initial splash screen is letterbox'd.
Hope this helps anyone wanting to use NFS Shift on the TP or get around another EA game with the same issue.

Not sure about the Amazon app but for Flipboard you can search for the apk and side load or get it from someone else's phone because it's not optimized for tablets yet

I downloaded Flipboard else where on the internet. But you can also try to download it from the play store on other devices that support it. Then use file explorer or some other app go under the phone memory, find this file ->/data/app. It will show you the apk files that you have downloaded on your phone from the play store. Now you can easily copy the apks you want to the sd card and send it over to the TP. (send directly with bluetooth is the easiest way).

Hi all, I play Kingdoms of Camelot and recently installed jelly bean (I9100XWLSD_I9100OXXLS6_I9100XXLS8_HOME.tar.md5) and rooted using (jeboo_kernel_i9100_v1-2a.tar) but camalot is now forcing an update but when i go to google play it says Your device isn't compatible with this version, I know full well that my device is supported anybody got any ideas? am i going to have to go back to 4.0.3? also could someone please upload the latest Kingdoms of Camalot version for me, should be 12.3 i think, thanks

Have you played with your system dpi?? If not better go and google for the apk you will get that apk

I did change the phones dpi, but why would that make Google Play say my device is not compatible?

Because no device with your settings is available in market.....you can try one thing if you don't want to revert back your dpi....clear play store's data from setting...it can help but not sure...

Does anyone have a direct download to the Sky+ app apk file? I've looked all over the place and can't find it anywhere. As you probably know Sky's twitter and developer account was hacked on Sunday by the Syrian Electronic Army and Sky have removed all their apps from Google Play.

Hi all,
Does anyone have a link to download android Sky+ 4.0.0.apk. The latest update to v4.2.0 has lost some functions. I used to be able to watch recordings from my Tab2 7.0. I tried v3.0.2 with no joy.

I have got version 4.2.0 (186907) of the Sky+ app, but the latest version on the Play store is 4.2.2.
Since I upgraded my Nexus 7 to KitKit, the app constantly crashes. I read on the Sky forum that this problem has now been fixed.
Unfortunately, the Play store will not let me download the latest app (outside of the UK) so could someone please send me the latest version as an apk file?
Thanks, it would be great to be able to use this to record the Christmas programs.
