For anyone who likes the illumination strip on their Sola and wants to see it used more, this app:

which is also great for the other Xperias can manage the light underneath the screen, which lights up 'Xperia' for example, I like to tell it to stay on when I get a text or a call - like the multicoloured LED at the top of the phone but obviously brighter and more noticeable (and more stylish) but note that only the colour WHITE is available to us, Sola users.

We have a "bar" that illuminates the XPERIA sign..

You should try getting that light on as much as possible with the app. It lights the Xperia sign in a really beautiful way...:fingers-crossed:
We don't have a lot of mods open to our Sola illumination, but I like this one a lot.
I just found another one, which is a lot the same but I think is simpler.

Actually I think I prefer the first one - you can tell the app to leave the light on until you see your SMS/phone call rather than just glow on and off.

heh? what do u mean better hd? xperia ray's resolution is 480 x 854 pixels, XS has 720p (1280x720)
but if u're talking about screen quality:
1. it depends on ur eyes, really objective..
2. afaik, sxs has three kind of screens ( i have the yellow tint guidelines pdf (in Chinese) which shows the three different screens of SXS), see the picture:

3. my SXS's screen is a lot of better than GS3's and heck it's better than iphone4s , mine is the white version though.

Your opinions on screen quality are horribly wrong. By all numbers the screen on the S is better.

Sorry you were right.my problem was that i bought a screen protector before buying the phone. But the protector lets you feel like the screen looks horrible.im planning om buying a zagg screen protector.any ideas?

When you hold down the home button, does it look like the picture apart from a couple of things. If not, you need to find a small apps zip file and flash it. Picture in second post.

Does this mean you need to have small apps previously installed in device? Is your wt19i on .587 fw?
It works on my st15i mini,but the photo has no exif data.for someone it might be a good news.

thx for manukohli, that apk can be used in xperia U. today i test шеon xperia mini (miui) - its work TOO! so everybody can use it! by the way, i can make apk personaly, if u want another lvls of brt (20/70 %, 30/90%, ect)

Yes, but its toggle ony On\Off autobrt, my widget toggle economy or bright mode in autobr. on other devices its just change a brt lvl.

Hey guys, i've edited my framework-res.apk, everything works fine, but now i have sometimes a problem because i can't read anything, because it's written in black on a dark background, for example at the power options when i want to reboot my phone. Can somebody tell me how to fix that?
