i9305 Repartition possible? - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello.
I need 3 Parts Firmware+PIT.
I have a problem, after repair EFS with EFS.img from i9300,the Device restart and hang on i9305 Logo,I have tried Wipe Data and flashed with original Fimrware via ODIN,but same Problem,I think I need repartition, can anyone help me?

ask faryaab from here or sammobile.com i think he would know if 3 part fw is aviable

So let me get this straight you didnt do the i9305 backup properly, so then some thing went wrong and you lost your imei. And then you tried to repair it with a i9300 efs ??

hahaha I love that bit of your signature .... you know what Its funny how some of i9300 users hate us talking about how the i9305 is better then the i9300 in a few different ways, they get so angry and envious it makes me laugh. Idiots
The only thing they can come up with is ohh ohh well that device doesnt have as much support! well i guess they are right for now but Id really like to prove them wrong so come on guys lets try port as much as we can over haha and the more users we have the more support will get, so if more people get enticed to get this device because they starting to see the dev support is growing... well the quicker the support will grow
But anyway like you said my stock rom runs smoother then my favourite tweaked up nandroid i had on my I9300, which was Foxhound rom haha.
And right now I am close to tweaking my rom as close to that... so just imagine how smooth its running now

Do you guys have your devices rooted sucessfully w CF root? bc all i really need is root. we are working on porting a (edit) heavily tweaked v of cm10 currently

Yes but don't make the mistake of using CF-Root for the I9300 or I will have to bail your arse out! Lol

Night and day in some cases, I was thinking of getting rid of my tablet till I tried Tasks rom. A friend was over with his Ipad last night and after playing with the Samsung he asked if I wanted to trade which of course I said NO. I would read though the forum on the different roms to see which one might fit what you need

Basically there is no point talking about it. Just do it and see for yourself. There is proof enough in the dev section that it won't do any harm, if you follow the instructions. Just flash cwm and then tasks rom. Don't bother rooting if you haven't already done it. The rom does it for you.
Why NOT root is a better question! Too easy, and revertable.
I think only thing stopping me is if I do decide to sell my tab some ppl want it original

You can unroot the tab by flashing any stock ROM. So need to worry for this reason.

overclock to 1.4ghz using setcpu app.
in most cases if you get a custom rom then it is also rooted
check out Task650's 3.2 rom, now at Ver 8 - really night and day compared to stock or just plain rooted

the reason i downloaded it is because when i am typing it lags..

would Rooting make the phone slower? i don't see how it would..
Can the op post what rom and kernel you are using? And if you did a full wipe before chaning to your current rom?

Rooting help.

Hey guys,
I've recently converted to the S3 from the GNex.. I'm used to the stock android feel. I've read that the Galaxy S 3 comes with unlocked bootloaders.. does that mean if I root I wouldn't have to clear data?
Because I'm honestly willing to settle with this phone, I've changed 7 phones in past 6 months and I'm sick of losing my data..
So help me..
Can I root without losing data?

Really easy and clean way to root your phone is through the SG3 Toolbox. Check out:

There are a whole bunch of other very useful tools also included.

yes you would be able to flash a unbranded firmware just flash it through odin the nonce youve done that set the phone up the flash cf root
Does it necessarily need to be through odin? Will it not work using the toolkit?

ive never used toolkit ive always used odin but yeah i think you can use toolkit
I'm used to doing it the easy way like on the GNex... I can't wait for jelly bean on our galaxy s3.. that's why I want to root. Cause I know my carrier will never update..

using odin only takes about 30seconds to do the set up then about 5minutes to flash the actual firmware ive never used toolkit so i dont know how long it takes doing it that way

The toolkit is doing the same thing. It's best that you learn to do it through Odin. It's far more safe this way it's not like you are going to break it or anything.
Let's hope not

im using stock s3 and my ram goes up to 667MB which is lretty low because I got the international version of s3.
so what is this foxhound Rom? how can I install it? and is it better from stock? what are the advantages and disadvantages?

Is the Galaxy S3 Black version really the same?

Kind of a stupid question for some of you xD but I just want to be sure that I'm going to be able to get all the ROMs i can get with the normal Galaxy S3 pebble blue. Is it going to be the same?
This would be the link I'll be using http://www.expansys-usa.com/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-black-unlocked-16gb-238383/ to buy it!
I just want to make sure there wasn't any hardware/software changes to the black version. Obviously, there shouldn't be but I don't want to go wrong for buying this one!

But it appears as if it is the US version with the dual core and 2GB of RAM.
So be www l aware of that when flashing ROMs
