It's called MIUI. Now, next time post your questions in the Questions and Answers section, here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1569

Why would you want your s3 look like it's?

The launcher doesn't replace the entire framework. What is it with people and thinking a launcher does everything?

Because for most people what matters is what the device looks like, and not really what is underneath. Most users don't even know what a framework is.
So the launcher suggestion is valid if all the user wants is something that resembles iOS.

Why would you want a ROM, that is like iOS? The only ROM that nears iOS is MIUI..

The style of the settings, does that not matter? No launcher can replace the ugliness of the Samsung settings. That goes way down in the systemui or framework.

iPhone Theme

Will there ever be a complete iPhone theme, that makes our phones UI that of an iPhone?

You should try ilauncher lite and if you like it consider getting the full version and use a iphone lock screen as well like i do BTW you'll probably get loads of hate from all the android fanboys in a bit.
Current using espire launcher.. but sick of it.. will give iLauncher a try

Yeah, I don't understand why people want to theme their droids with the iOS UI. It's a droid, not an iPhone. Plus it just gives more reason for the iPhone users to say that Android copied iOS, especially when you have the theme. Although, at the end of the day, it's your choice, besides I haven't seen a ROM or launcher that makes your droid look exactly like an iPhone.
Dude, it shows how flexible android is. You can even theme your phone as meego or WP7. Can other OSs do that besides android? Lol think outside the box bro.

Oh no, I'm all for theming and installing other launchers on Android, I don't see why people would want something that looks like an iPhone, when they can get an iPhone. Although, I am all for launcher 7. Mainly because it changes the way you interact with the Phone, rather than just skinning it.
I think you can try this launcher: Espier Launcher(made by Chinese)Ok if it does not support your lauguage....may be you can try GO launcher?

It's just an excuse for wanting wp7 style .
So you're going to scold me for wanting to theme my Ace to be like a 3GS ?

Its not as easy as search and paste. You need to make the icon the right size. Its not as easy as you say
Prawesome is right. Icons need to edited to the perfect size. I recommend 90*90 or 72*72 size for iOS icons.

[Q] Stock ICS Launcher on ICS LEAK?

Hey guys,
I saw a video on youtube by qbking77(?something like that) of him reviewing the official leak ICS build for SPRINT's SGS2.
He found that by clearing the defaults for Twlauncher apk, pressing home button will give you two options for the launcher, Touchwiz 4.0 and STOCK ICS. I thought this was pretty neat.
Can anyone confirm that AT&T's OFFICIAL LEAK stores inside it the STOCK ICS LAUNCHER too?
I myself have a GT-i9100, btw. was just wondering if that is possible. Thanks guys!
Removing the launcher and not having a fallback will get you nowhere.
He probably hand Trebuchet or similar installed, unless carriers are including Market apps. (Doubtful)

Nono not removing it, just clearing defaults from the app options.
And no, it was called "launcher"
And he went from stock tw launcher to stock ics google launcher
And he said sprint/samsung have included this.

Go Luncher Question

Hi
Is there any Theme that would Change the Touchwiz to 5.0 or Samsung Galaxy S3 Theme?
If those 2 do not exist Can you please tell me what are good Theme's for Go Luncher App...
Thanks....
Thread makes me hungry.
(sorry, couldn't resist)
Anyway, I suspect you want the "Themes and Apps" subforum, not "General".

Go launcher delivers, you can't go wrong. You might like the cube theme it makes the icons stand out, they seem to float on a darker background. The effect is functional and cool. It also has great page transitions to chose from.
I've been a go launcher fan since i left ics on my beloved captivate. It is extremely configurable.

[Q] Android ROM similar to WP7?

So I was thinking, we have MIUI which is more or less, a iOS clone.
Is there any ideas for a ROM based off of source that takes elements from WP7, I don't necessarily mean the live tiles, but something close, but the messaging, gallery, etc.
Bump?

You could probably get a copy of the wp7 firmware, and port it. Not sure what the file system is on that, but maybe it's similar?

OK...I'm not a dev but I'm telling you that we never could port a wp7 run on android system. they're completely different. asking how to run wp7 on android system is similar with asking how to ride a boat on road. the best solution atm is only make a rom with a theme and UI looks like a wp7.
PS: MIUI is not an iOS clone. the interface is might similar but it definetely an android system.

That's true. You can't port WP7 to android. If nothing else than because of kernel. We have a Linux-based kernel and WP uses a different (probably closed-sourcel) one.So as we already told you your best chance is UI changes.I am a dev btw.

I've worded this badly.
I guess I mean a ROM with WP7 influence like MIUI is to iOS.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW
Hmm, just change your launcher to a WP7 styled launcher.
Do that with the dialer, email, music and message app too, it should then look like WP7
Sent from my ST18i using xda premium
well thats what i mean...
as far as i know there is no rom like that...
as i mentioned take the launcher7 that would bring u the u/i
download go sms and search for the windowsmobile7 theme (dunno exactly how its called)
I guess nobody wants to make a ROM styled like WP7.

with MIUI rom, u can modified theme WP 7 and change icon style...
I believe the OP is also speaking of the WP7 transitions, UI, etc., etc. to also include REAL WORKING HUBS.

[Q] IPhone Style?

Hey All,
Now dont flame me or say I should have bought an IPhone as No way! but my wife is hopefully getting my S3 as I am getting the Note 2 and my query is:

U can either choose a miui ROM or the miui launcher. In miui launcher only the launcher is affected but in ROM, all the screens get themed as in iPhone. The settings menu, notification etc etc. So anyways its your choice. Theme, u can readily download and use the phone in iphonish way by loading iPhone theme or u can completely change it using miui ROM plus iPhone theme.
