Model Number? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

I'd like to start searching and trying to get this, so I thought I'd ask what the model number is...
I know sometimes you have better luck at finding auctions on ebay by searching for the model number, instead of the regular name of the device and the carrier it works with.
Is it N7105 or N7105T?
Thanks!

Neither. This was posted before in the general note ii forum if you want the other model numbers.
SCH-I605
All US carriers have their own individual model number.

Damn all that's showing up right now is some sprint nextel phone. This forum or another Note 2 forum? We have a Sprint for and others.

There is a sprint forum, t-mobile, at&t, a verizon one, and an international one (i call this one the general one).
Idk what to tell you man, when I google SCH-I605 i get info on the note ii.
i do know tmobile's note is SGH-T889 though.

Just bought a SGSII! Questions!

I know the S2 is a great phone, Just wondering how's the front facing camera on the device? I know it's 2 Megapixels. Also easiest way to Unlock the bootloader, Flash custom roms.. and Root of course.
Thanks a lot!

Your profile says AT&T, and Boston, MA. Did you get this phone through AT&T? Or did you order it unlocked?
If you got it through AT&T, then you are in the wrong forum for your device. AT&T only carries a branded version of the S II, which is model number SGH-I777, or the Skyrocket, (LTE version of the S II) which is model number SGH-I727.
Each of those devices has their own forums.
If you are indeed a user of one of those devices, then by all means, do NOT USE any bootloaders, custom ROMs, or rooting methods from this (I9100) forum.
Surefire way to know what your model is, is to look on the label under the battery.

your carrier are not going to know much about rooting. They are customer service and sales people, not developers. Branding them useless because you have rooted is a bit strong.
However if you want help youre going to give more info
what rom?
what apps?
etc.....

Also: model number. Which is why I asked above if the OP is on T-mobile USA.
T-mobile USA's Galaxy SII is model SGH-T989, which is a completely different phone from the I9100, and has a different forum altogether.
This is the I9100 forum, which is the international model of Galaxy SII.

This is the wrong place to ask. You need to ask over in the US forums. However, I know the skyrocket and I think the note was able to be used on TMO with just flashing a different modem(the note was a bit more complicated I think) But people in the US forums would have a better idea

Yes all it required was a modem flash and the same should theoretically hold true for the S3 as well.

Yes it should work and you don't have to flash anything, but but you will not get LTE

Why don't you read a thread or two in the General forum, come back and tell us what you've learned?
Hint: you can't "unlock" it. There's a bootloader exploit for a limited number of phones with a very specific firmware revision, unless you have a Developer's Edition.

So any help? Can i use this? Or is it a whole different build http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2521485
So is there any hope for me? The lack of responses are killing me lol. I did try the service mode using the dialer and that didn't work D:. Now I'm using this as a ipod basically. Any help on how to make my tmboile service work would be much appreciated

I don't understand how the lack of responses could be "killing you", I mean, seriously?
Hint #1: THE I545 is not sim locked. You insert the T-Mobile SIM, configure the APN, and it'll work.
Hint #2: There's a "Search this forum" box. Type T-Mobile. You'll find the answers you seek by reading those threads.
Its killing me because i really want to use this phone. I tried entering my sim and apn stuff but nothing works.
I even called Tmobile and they said the sim card is fine, it could be Verizon blocking it. Which can be true because the first time I put in my sim, it was working and showed as tmobile but now it doesnt.
So should I flash a rom, would it work if i flash a Tmobile rom?
If I should flash a rom, do you have any for my model?

No, you can't flash a T-Mobile ROM. You really need to read this sticky thread to help understand what's possible.
As I said, there's lots of threads providing directions for getting the i545 running on T-Mobile. You can find them easily.. there is no need for yet another thread about this.
Hm, I have been reading the threads. But all of them had a point where there phone can make calls and what not but just couldn't go on the internet. Mine can't do anything, I don't really see anyone posting anything about it.
My sim card works with everything else, its just this phone which is making me go asjdhasldkhlasdhk
If I'm not mistaken if the phone was paid off properly and is free from a contract then you should be able to walk into VZW and have them carrier unlock it for you. If he didn't pay off the phone then it's technically a phone with a bad esn and the first part of this post needs to be fulfilled.
Is there anyway where I can force Unlock it? He moved so I can't really go to him and ask him anything since he lives in China now.
Is there anyway I can get rid of the bad IMEI or ESN number? I heard flashing it to like HyperDrive can help.
Legality?

I actually believe this is illegal no?
Anyway, look into registering new APNs to your phone, the VZW GS4 SIM is already unlocked across carriers.

NO. No, not right, NO. Wrong. Incorrect. Invalid. Incorrect. Input rejected.
Do I make myself clear?
I'm getting tired of repeating this, but THE SCH-I545 IS NOT SIM LOCKED. It is not locked. It does not need to be unlocked. What you are saying is wrong, incorrect, invalid, unnecessary. You don't need to unlock. You get it always unlocked. You don't need to unlock it. Nobody needs to do anything to unlock it. It's not locked.
Do you get my drift yet?
The Federal Communications Commission required that carriers getting access to the 4G spectrum not lock their phones, so phones like the VZ Galaxy S4 are not SIM locked. Any carrier's SIM will work.
Comments like yours send people down a time-wasting path. It isn't locked. Why spend time unlocking it?

The one that I returned ended up being affected.
All that where sold before they announced the recall will show up affected, it doesn't mean the phone will have a problem. Of course everyone should change it regardless....
Mine came up "affected" but i haven't had any issues and i watch it like crazy

It says in the article that this IMEI tool is for future purposes. An example would be buying a used Note7 off of Ebay or something. You won't know for certain if you are buying a "first gen" Note7 or a "2nd gen" one unless you use this tool.
So as of this very post, every single one of us who use this check tool will have affected phones. The tool is currently useless until the fixed phones come out and the population begins to mix with a few stragglers of the old version.
Edit: Only phones currently not affected are the Chinese phones btw.

I called my local Sprint store today, and they had them in stock. Yes, wrong forum, I know, but I've been closely following all the carriers. I'm just glad to have this thing over with. I'd call your local stores tomorrow to see if they got them, though. Doesn't seem like Sprint would be alone in receiving them.
