I just hope that when a reliable source for 3d pron comes out... The ONLY the female is 3d.... You wouldn't want anything else poking out at you(or flying towards you (money shot))....

the phone is incredibly smooth...I didnt care about the 3d. But, I was very suprised. It is very cool. I have already set it up live my evo 4g. I can't wait to get to know the phone a little better.

I understand the dual core keeps up with its quad core cousin overseas, but why a downgrade in the screen too?
I really was hoping htc would follow the galaxy line and just basically change the name depending on the provider (plus a few other small changes) . Forget upgrades, as we all know about samsung and their upgrades.
I'm glad to see kickstand back, but it looks like a plastic pos. It has already been stated that sprints version will not be their big dog. I can't say for sure, as I have not played with it, but htc does not appear to be picking up their game when they need to.
Any thoughts...

dude u should read a lil more the one x and evo lte have the exact same screen.. and it is their flagship.. the kickstand is also much stronger and more durable then the kickstand on the original evo.. its an aluminum kickstand watch the video about the design process and they explain the kickstand more..

I think you need to read up on the specs between the two phones. HTC has already said that he sprint model will not need their flagship phone. But thanks for the rudeness.

the insides r identical just a different shell bigger battery, kickstand, and micro sd on the evo might not be as aesthetically pleasing but ill take it over the one x. espiecally the fact that with what theyve added to it, it is still just about as thin..
Has anyone thought of a good shortened name for this thing. EVO 4G LTE is just too much.

personally i never liked 3vo for the 3D, and also not a fan of LTEVO either...
ill likely stick to EVOLTE or something like that more likely till someone figures something else cool...
I had the Evo 4G and now Evo 3D... I call them both just Evo. Because that's what they are. Just like an Phone is an iPhone no matter what model.

But, for reals, I like "EVO LTE" or "EVOX".
I saw people using E4GLTE a while back, but the hashtag isn't used on twitter or anything so I guess it didn't catch on, despite rolling off the tongue rather well. On that front though, E4GLTE looks like EAGLE to me, so I just call it the HTC EAGLE... it's just how my brain works... don't judge me.
We should just call it an iPhone. When I'm out in public or with friends they will ask, "Is that the new iPhone?" I'll be wearing one of my Android shirts and my friends seem to forget I am a Android app developer. So yea, I vote for iPhone 4G. :banghead:

Exactly.. We are to presume since our device is similar to the One X that it includes us but we seem to be the black sheep of the HTC family same as with the 3D. I just need them to release Jelly Bean and let me enjoy it for a few then the next go around my phone won't say HTC on it.

I'd be willing if the camera were up to par. Although they have improved the camera in AOSP its still not on the same level... I wish it was though.

Its didn't take me long to realize this HTC device wasn't going to be anything near the hit the OG EVO was.
I saw the writing on the wall and got out while the EVO had some value. Now good luck getting $200 on ebay after fees.

It's not similar. It IS the one x. Only bigger battery and sd slot. HTC isnt going to specifically mention every one x variant by name. And the evo3d was a whole different mess as it was the only one of its kind. Apples and oranges.
Yes, it DOES look like Jelly Bean is coming but does anyone know when? No. No one knows. I'm not even sure HTC knows.

Performance is perfect. Battery life is abysmal. You leave that screen on and you will be punished...

I got more than 5 hrs of screen on time the other day with about 27 hours off the charger on cm10. It all depends on what you use and what settings you have.

Sorry, I gotta say, I wouldn't trade down to apple if I was paid to do it... Just sayin I got some kind of principles.. Lol.. Android is the way to go regardless of who made the phone.. I doubt I'll own another htc, but honestly, I could care less what they release for the phone, I've got plenty to keep me happy here on xda thanks to the genius devs we have working on our device!
