first of all I'm pretty new to the whole root n stuff. I've successfully, downgraded my hboot, got su and s-off plus i installed biparanoid.
I really like it but here's my problem:
Flash player isn't working properly.
The youtube app just shows a black screen, streams in browser doesn't work and the twitch.tv app just shows a black screen aswell.
I've tried to reinstall flash player but nothing changed
This is an really big issue for me and i hope someone can help me
Tried to post in the original biparanoid thread but it says i dont have permissions ...

Go to developer options and disable hw overlays and YouTube should work
( Don't ask me for help as I couldn't care if your phone explodes, eh! )
Thank you! Youtube works now but twitch doesn't. Read something about twitch app and cm not being compatible yet, is that true?

BiParanoid still isn't perfect. In fact, I couldn't even get it to run the camera.
If you really want to use the ROM, you'll need to mess around with it, or wait until it's more stable. It is however the most stable JB ROM to date.
And yes, the problem is with many streaming apps.

Hi everyone,
For the past three days, I am unable to see videos on my YouTube app in HTC Wildfire.
The video streams perfectly, but stops playing after the 8th second or so.
Should I format my phone? Kindly advice.

You should give more info about the current rom, root state, installed applications, stuff you messed around with.
Mine is the stock ROM- 1.14.720.2, and I just recently installed Watchdog Lite, Battery Monitor and Handcent SMS.
I don't remember messing around with the phone.
This problem occurred once before and then I restarted the phone and it worked. But now when I try doing that, it's still the sane.

I was having the same problem. I flashed my wildfire with a custom ROM (Wildpuzzule-froyo) and now youtube is working perfectly fine. Further, i m using an app "tube mate' (u can find it in market), and with this app i can watch as well as download youtube videos in a resolution of my choice.
I don't wanna root my phone until FroYo update is released.
And yes I will try the tubemate..

When i downloaded and installed Flash 10.2 it made my phone go a little haywire when it came to playing flash videos... So i had to use Titanium backup to restore 10.1.

Since Adobe is a free download i thought i'd throw this out there for people with the same problem. If you feel this should be removed feel free to.

I also had this problem when loading 10.2 from the market, but I remembered a thread here with a leaked version from a couple weeks ago that included a hulu version, so I unistalled 10.2 and then installed the 10.2 hulu from here and now everything is great, 10.2 plays so nicely now so I suggest giving it a try, I'm running CM7 RC2 heres the forum link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991694

Maybe you didnt read my post but it works fine on my glacier running cm7 rc2, even hulu using dolphin hd, but I guess if you're on a different rom you wouldnt know that? what works for some may not work for others and vice versa but for me using the hulu version of 10.2 here It works great, but then again i dont watch many youtube videos just Hulu and some other stream sites like jtv etc

I was on CM7 RC2 before i switched roms and i would get no sound with the hulu version and with the official 10.2 it would look messed up but with this rom the official works great and the hulu version still no sound :/.

maybe you didnt read my signature but it does not works fine on my glacier running cm7 rc2. The Flash 10.2 from the market would either play sound with a garbled video or the video would be smooth with no sound. I flashed back to 10.1 and it works flawlessly. That is why this thread is here for people to revert back to 10.1 if they want to. Not everyone (my self included) wants to run 1/2 baked custom .apks on their phones.

i find alot of time when video doesnt work right if i change the resolution to 240 it plays perfect... thinking it has to do with my browser set to pc mode which puts resolution at 3xx. havent tested this but just a thought.
Works on CM7.1.0-Desire HD ROM ...
... on my HTC Inspire 4G when no version or hack of 10.2, or any version above that, would work.

I can't install the .apk
'App isn't installed'
My device is S-ON could this be the reason?
Possibly - it's over 11MB, though, it could be a space issue? I think my phone was only having a fit because of space.
I doubt it's because you're S-ON, though, it's just an app.
I've tried it on my legend With CM7.0.3 rom, but it doesn't work very great, when I open web page from my local tv station with news, it just closes web browser and when I play larger clips from youtube, or similar pages, it often freezes and force closes.
A lot of fc , but in any oportunities works fine

YESSS!!
Not being able to run TinyShark was the only shadow in my legend, but finally this is not a problem anymore.
It freezes after +/- 1 min.
Is there another version which is working?

Agree. I've tried it on Dolphin HD, the built-in browser and the xScope.
Haven not spotted any change with the usual adobe flash....

Didnt make a real diff for me,then went to titaniumbackup cleared data,then restore adobeflash 10.2 now its fine,even to the point I can stream movies if I could be bothered watchin on tiny scree.

Since the latest YouTube update I'm not able to switch to fullscreen. For now I uninstalled the update.

My issue with YouTube is in recent weeks there is a constant Buffering/Freeze.
The temporary fix is: Settings>Applications>Manage App>Youtube>Force Stop and Clear Data.
Since I'm using a Rooted JetStream, i've also uninstall the stock Youtube and reinstall the Upgraded Version - but to no avail. I even did the same for Adobe's Flash Player (uninstall/reinstall), but the buffering starts after about 5mins of play. Even adjusted the video playback resolution
This is very frustrating!!!
HELP - has anyone come up with a fix for this issue??

Thanks for your work, definitely i'm going to try it when i'll have my evo back
dreccon had some problems with the yas rom. the 3d preview where laggy like low fps. this is caused due the mediaserver.
but for me there is no way for now to get it fix. because the 3d stuff is controled by the camera. maybe you have a hint for me.

i dont know if 3d will work with that custom 3d lib.
i dont have this phone. if you tell me the 3d cam can work with the lib i can add it. what i have seen and read it will not work. because the camera controls the 3d part. but correct me if im wrong

I'm using CM 11.
It can take photos but I cannot look photos with program.
I sould open galery for seeing photos that I take with app.
Also for videos after pressing recording button there is a delay happenes for recording like 2-3 seconds.
When I pressing button for stopping recording, program force closes.

Yepp,it's working perfectly and I can view my old 3D photos taken with ICS roms,please try what u can ,our app is working perfect in 2D but the 3D and video rec is not working

added more debug info to see what happens, and made it stabler.
strange that the gallery view not works, im only calling an intent wich opens the default gallery,
video recording is some sort of problem yet, im working on custom settings and set the default bitrate a bit high, for now this is alpha stage

Delay while recording video has gone but I cannot open videos with any player.
Also when i connected phone with computer and see if i can open with vlc player, videos are just too small
like 5kb 11kb 3kb. Vlc player couldn't open videos too.
Also i still cannot open photos with program I added screenshot.
for recording:
did you set the video size >= 1280x720 ? else it will not work because the bitrate is set to high.
for taken pics:
do the taken pics appear in your default gallery?

I forgot to set video size in previous post. But seting 1920x1088 and 1280x720 didn't worked too. Just file size increased to 170kb.
For picture i can see them in default gallery i just cant see them in your app.
Here is another log for high video size.

Based on what I know about this, the 3D functionality on the EVO 3D is actually dictated and controlled by Sense framework and not by the cam itself, which is why YAS4's actually has 3D capabilities unlike other Sense 4.x ports for the 3D or even the AOSP variants. Adding the libs might not have the intended results but I guess it might not hurt you to try if you have a few minutes
Thx for the information. I will try it after fixing hdr and video recording. Theretically it should work when the surface attached to the camera has 3d function. But it will take some time
i forget to say, you can take 3d pics and videos without 3d preview. but this was done on a sense rom while the preview freezed
i need to know the ro.product.model= "" from the prop.build of cm11,
than i can enable the 3d cam for it without preview.
thats the models i have already, i dont know why each rom has its own model

BUGS / NOT WORKING:
3D recording not working
Ocazional data drops.
In-call volume sometimes gets reseted to maximum. Temporary fix:ENABLE TOUCH SOUNDS
Camcorder: When recording video, sometimes first video will not work, the second one should be OK.
Sending MMS's might not work for everybody (receiving works) !
Bluetooth tethering might not work from the first time

i think its a fault of cm11, because on my nexus7 with kitkat recording works.
but try 2.7 i have changed some stuff.
for cm11 3d
have you installed this app?
its needed or the class cant be found and it crashes,
the custom 3d lib api only contains the methods not the lib itself so that app is requiered.

yes I have installed that app before I install your apps new version.
app crashes when i try to open.
Also tried 2.7(nor cm11 version) phone bootloops when i start recording so i cannot test it
