recovery mode problem

Has anyone else had issues booting into recovery mode? I have a 10.1 GT-p7510 running android 3.2 , and i'm trying to root the device. The problem i'm encountering is when i'm booting into recovery mode the screen does appear, however its constantly and quickly moving or flashing. (Like old television sets when the horizontal alignment was out and the picture flashed/scrolled up or down really fast) Does anyone have any ideas/tips?
@i just reflash the original firwmare to do again the root ecc but the problem persist..
Hi i had the same problem and posted a thread like yours a few days ago:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1572815

[Q] CM9 bootloops

I've search and I don't think I've seen an answer to this question yet and as my first question/post I'd like to say:
I'm running CM9.04 and I love it, but I'd like to assist in testing out the nightlies and AOKP etc..., but no matter what I do I always get a bootloop (Sometime shows the booting android for about half a second then reboot, sometime not even that). I see others say that these ROMs are working (as well as development ROMs do ) I clear all caches, factory reset and always the same thing (except on the .04 alpha release). Anyone else have this issue or a solution or suggestions?

[Q] Complicated ICS upgrade issue - Dev advice needed please.

Hi all,
I have an interesting problem, but I'll give some background first:
I am running CM10 JB 4.2 (very happy with it).. But I upgraded from HC, before ICS was an official update.
Now that it is available, I thought I would restore the HC backup, and let it update itself. Store it, and then revert back to JB again.
However when it's finished downloading the update, and beginning to install it, it stops at 14% - bombs out, and reboots. Then it complains about not being able to update etc..
I have found the FOTA log file, and can see where it bombs out, but it makes no sense to me. (see attached)
I'm sure you are wondering why I want to do this.. it's simply because if ever I want to sell the tablet, at least it will have the correct SW on it.
Kind regards,
Also, I find that KIES will not connect with the USB cable, and only with Wifi when I'm in HC..
Done everything I know how to get it to work?

[Q] How long did it take for CM 11 20140116-UNOFFICIAL (EOL) of jfbs to install?

Hi guys. It is my first time to run cyanogenmod on my phone. I have the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit 2 4G and I tried to install the CM 11 of jfbs. I did all the backups and I wiped the data and cache and installed the ROM and Gapps. But I rebooted my device and the Cyanogenmod logo appeared with the spinning arrow and it didn't want to stop spinning (or loading if you want). My phone was stuck on logo and the spinning arrow. I forced the phone to turn off and when I rebooted it I worked but after a little time it went back to the logo and the spinning arrow. I re-installed the ROM and Gapps but like before, the logo and the spinning arrow still there until now and it won't even stop and lead me to the lock screen. PLEASE can somebody tell me if it won't work or what is wrong whit it or if it is matter of time, how long should i wait? PLEASE I need to know what is going on and what to do. :crying:

If you could PM me with more details that would be helpful. When i hear that it continues after a reboot(not the first person to have said that) i think its that you are not waiting enough time. That may or may not be the case. I would give it a good 5 min. I have never timed mine but it does seem to me that prior android versions took about 2-3min maybe and for w.e. reason android 4.4(cm-11.0) takes a few more min. Anything over >=10min though id say is too much. In these cases the only things that can really help are logs. Logs are the only way you can show a dev what you are experiencing.
(as a xda member)
Also i would use the device thread not the general android thread, read through the rom thread of the rom you are tryng to install, and a last and final note, I would recommend that anyone that is new to install older more mature roms first. These roms will yield the best experience in most cases. Then once you are familiar you can experiment with other roms/mods etc etc.

Thank you @cars1189 for your answer. I used the device thread to do it but the problem is, I let it spinning for more than 5 hours. I have flashed many roms in my phone since i had it (more than 10 times or more) and i know that it does not take more than 10 mins max to install. But don't worry after that i went back and restored my previous CM 9 rom and right now i'm on the CM 11 build of 1-29-14 of your CM mass thread. It works fine, not at 100% but it doesn't drain my battery like your CM 10.2 build of 1-11-14 and it is almost stable. I will try tonight to use your ADC kernel with the jfbs CM 11 rom that first didn't work for me because I saw in your thread that this kernel may help it to load and install without the spinning issue. So i will give it a shoot. But anyways thanks for your answer and it means a lot to me really. :good:
GOOD
@cars1189 , I'm actually running the 6-18-14 build of CM11 and as far as it goes, i'm not encountering any major issue at the moment. The theme engine is working fine for me and battery life is great for my usage. I use this build as a daily driver, and it does a great job. Calls, texts, data, wifi, Bluetooth and GPS are all working. I had issues before with the amount of RAM available, but now that it has 375MB of RAM, it is more snappy. Just :good: Thank you for your work on our to make our phone still valuable today!! THANKS MAN!!!!!!

850f alpha misbehaving after update? Help me figure out what's wrong

Greetings,
I have been tinkering with my GF's 850f with the hopes that she will forget about those damn expensive Iphones and embrace the Android way... but so far the Alpha has been acting up. I will explain the issue:
Sometimes, seemingly at random, the phone will get stuck and get really slow. I think I managed to isolate the issue because it seems to happen after using an app that uses the microphone (Duolingo, Whatsapp). After she uses the microphone, the phone will remain stuck. You can get out of the app and close it, but it won't open again and the phone gets slow. Everything goes back to normal after I reboot the phone, but it invariably happens at least once a day. It doesn't happen everytime she uses microphone.
Things I've tried:
Upgraded to official Lollipop using the France image (Clean flash)
Installed custom recovery (First 2.8.0 and then 2.8.6)
Flashed Ozcan ROM (Clean flash again)
It didn't happen on KitKat, it actually began after flashing the Lollipop upgrade, but I'm iffy about downgrading from Lollipop. Anyone knows a way to debug, single out or fix something like this?
Thanks in advance!
