[Q] App Request: Amazon App Suite for Android Widget - HTC Droid DNA

The HTC Droid DNA [codename "HTC DLX"] is the first device to launch with a widget analogous to the Kindle Fire interface or the Nexus "My Library" widget for Google Play. This is called the Amazon App Suite for Android and more info is available here: http://wireless.amazon.com/HTC-DNA-Android-Verizon-Wireless/dp/B00A4OOPN0#AmazonAppSuite
As you can see from the image here, there is a custom widget that supports "single sign-on" to most Amazon services (strangely Amazon Instant Video is omitted...hmmm!).

Was wondering if anyone with the devices could pull the Amazon apk and post it here. This is not WAREZ as it should be available from the Amazon App Store and perhaps even the Google Play Android Apps in the future.

Can anyone help with this?

[APP] Xfinity TV v1.0.0.004

I was a little bummed when I saw that the XFinity TV app wouldn't install from the Android marketplace because it claims incompatible with Dell Streak...
But after some searching, it has installed on my Streak running StreakDroid 1.8.1
It only allows you to control your DVR / change your cable box channel (No "Play Now" like the iPad app). But it is fully functional in that respect. Oh, it only works in portrait.
I originally found it here:
http://www.mydroid.info/android-help/xfinity-tv-v1-0-0-004/
Direct link to APK: http://www.duckload.com/dl/d8gu2
But I see there is a thread in the general Android App and Games XDA forum:

Enjoy!

I did some digging and emailing between the xfinity android people and the marketplace people. Aparently in the market, the streak is registered as a tablet (or as they put it, a "large screen device"). Xfinity had put a block on the app for tablets because they don't have this working for the xoom yet. They claim that a newer version will be released with tablet support in a month or 2.

Thanks for the apk.
I'm really surprised that Google restricted it to the USA.
Currents is just a news aggregating service...these websites are available normally on the web from around the world...
Its the same with other mobile products... Voice/Wallet/Music etc and now currents...
at least there are ways around it...
Many thanks, Currents works fine on my phone.
anything special with new Google apk, please share?.

Magna Carta (Jay-Z Album)

As some of you may or may not know, all Galaxy SIII, S4, and Note II users are eligible to receive a free copy of the "Magna Carta" album on July 4th, 3 days before anyone else. All you need to do is install the Magna Carta app from the Play store. First million downloads on a supported galaxy device will get it.
My question is, if we're running a ROM (in my instance, Synergy) will the app still recognize my device as an S4? How exactly does the app track your device type? I'm not sure what the screen looks like for non Galaxy users, but mine looks like this.

That's how mine looks. I don't think the PlayStore would even show the app if it weren't available for your device. The PlayStore on your phone won't, at least. We should be good to go!
I am on HyperDrive and it is the same as if I was on stock. Can't wait for MCHG

Amazon Instant Video App

So I have been looking for a way to watch amazon prime videos since I've become a prime member. No solid workarounds aside from using Firefox and Flash which is inconvenient. After writing to Amazon this is was the response I received below. Anyone else have a resolution or have contacted amazon about this? From what I'm aware of its been an on going thing for a while, maybe 2 years.

New to Prime.....assumed there was an app for this
I am still a bit dumfounded why there is not an app for this on android. I have used the alternate browser with flash method to get around the issue, but does anyone know if the lack of an android app comes down to a proprietary agreement between IOS and Amazon to prevent/delay an android release?

There is a 'android' version, it's just only for the Amazon devices and select Google TV devices. From what I gather they're holding out on devices outside of that.

Has anybody the original The Room & The Room 2 Amazon APK? (*no* illegal stuff here!)

Has anybody the original The Room & The Room 2 Amazon APK? (*no* illegal stuff here!)
I've got a little problem.
I bought the Amazon version of The Room some time ago (by mistake more or less) and now I also got The Room 2 via the current free deal.
However, I don't have a Kindle but a Galaxy Nexus. Therefore, I cannot download the app from the App Store.
According to the Play edition, the device should work, though. It is just Amazon that is preventing the install.
That's why I am looking for a way to install the game on my GNex.
Either you have an idea to fool the App Store into thinking I have a Kindle - I have XPrivacy installed, maybe this might help in spoofing it.
Or someone can send me the original (no crack or bull****) APKs, so I can install them manually? The App Store should then take care of the authentication, shouldn't it?
Thank you very much for your input!
As kind of a proof, here are my orders:
