My local BB is taking preorders on it, but they could not give me a definite answer they'll have it on Sunday. Best bet is to call your local B&M stores on Friday/Saturday to see if they've got a shipment
I reserved one at a local Best Buy mobile in the mall of all things on the 25th. Funny thing the receipt says I can pick it up on the 25th but that's a computer error. The sales rep said they will be there this Sunday.
It will be available Sunday.
Local att store opens at 9. I will be there at 830.

I just pre-ordered mine this morning from the store here in Sacramento.
$50 minimum.
Had five or six locked up on his "Online-Order" Shelf.
Scanned one of them for my order.
I'm getting it for the $199 price since I'm OK for an upgrade.
Maybe better if I can provide evidence of a better deal.
I made several calls this morning to the local AT&T stores.
None had any stock, but could order for me.
Parrot was not expecting any until November.
If your in a hurry, then I'd suggest either Best-Buy pre-order or Direct online order.

Freaking amazon just emailed me and said that I can preorder the prime again tonight midnight pst. At first I thought it was for ordering...but it said pre-order. No telling when I'm going to get that ****. After they screw me over....Would I still check it out....damn it...I would. I'm desperate right now. Gamestop better have that **** tomorrow. Oh and they said sorry and would give a 10$ gift in a few days or so for my cancelation. Hell I already got 30 bucks from them, 10 more would be nice.

same deal, except I actually cancelled my preorder deliberately the first time. but I've had a change of heart so I'm back on with the preorder. this time I'm getting the gold/champagne color.. I didn't realize the amethyst was so purple..

If you don't get your gamestop orders by today, or the latest 23 then cancel it. No point in paying TAX for it when amazon has no tax. Unless you live in california I suppose.

By the way on amazon, if you go to you account an d click order details you will see. It says your item will arrive after Christmas
I re-pre-ordered from amazon last night I just did it quick and did not really pick a shipping. I just changed my shipping to 1 day shipping and it gave me free 1 day shipping so everyone who as not selected 1 day shipping may want to give it a shot could be totally free.

We also get taxed in NY.
I only have orders with Amazon and Newegg but I really want the gold one (not so much the purple)
Well, I'm pretty sure the CSR is wrong here. February is far-fetched I would think. I also placed an order last night for the 32GB Grey, hoping that either Amazon or Best Buy will get me one soon, as this was supposed to be a Christmas present for my parents.

Hard to get more, when you hadn't gotten any 32gb gray yet. Those are the ones that were canceled, and now allowed to re-pre-order.
They are admitting to screwing up: "We wanted to let you know your order for Transformer TF201-B1-GR (10.1-Inch Screen) Tablet was inadvertently canceled by our system. We're very sorry about this. "
Bring me the head of the one who inadvertently canceled our orders, yea verily.
Btw, check your original order number (from Nov 22/23), and you'll notice that it's the same order number from this morning - if you re-re-re-pre-ordered...

My new order number is 102-1020xxxx-xxxxx
So I do have two different order numbers and I re-pre-ordered the same 32GB gray one...
Amazon know they got screwed by asus.
they're putting the money where their mouth is by offering free overnight.

ASUS isn't silent at all. Here's what they said to Engadget:
ASUS started filling the inventory pipelines this past week for our new Eee Pad Transformer Prime and will continue to do so on an expedited basis for the foreseeable future. We will reach normal inventory levels in January for the North American market based on current orders and forecasts. I ordered mines from bestbuy the only email I received was the first time I did the preorder
With Best Buy Mobile pre-orders, you will receive one email when you place the pre-order, and another on the day it is available for pick up (in this case, the 19th.) Then head on down to your store and pick up the phone! Make sure you grab the Geek Squad Black Tie Protection, and at least give the Buy Back program some consideration.
Even if you plan on keeping your phone all through the 2 years, you'd still get back $150 (based off the full retail price) when you go to trade it in. This comes on a Best Buy gift card, so you can use it anywhere throughout the store, INCLUDING on the purchase of your next phone!

thats probably the day THEY receive it. legally they cant give it to you until the 19th.
Does your order status from BB say that the case and phone are backordered? I hope I didn't preorder it too late to where I'll be delayed in receiving mine longer than the earlier orders.

Sometimes our computers show two dates. One is listed as an in-stock date, and the other is listed as a street date. This is commonly set to prevent someone from selling a phone/game/anything earlier than intended by the manufacturer.

I was just wondering if the other BB preorders are currently showing the same backordered status as mine is. There's about a one-week window where people have been placing their orders (my order being on the latter end), so it's not out of the question that BB has ran out of their allotment for their initial shipments.
I can also understand how since these are preorders (and therefore not in stock), that BB would therefore indicate the status of the item as on backorder until they're allowed to ship them out on or around the 17th.
Either way, I'm fine with whatever the outcome is and am not expecting any magical early shipment.

I wasn't responding to your post and I wasn't being sarcastic. BB and AT&T made it pretty clear when the phone would be shipped/sold. I wouldn't expect any email after the order confirmation until it ships or is canceled from lack of funds.
It actually isn't unheard of for preorders to ship/arrive a day or two early.

Well, to be fair, you did decide to go with Best Buy. Not to be mean or anything, but honestly, don't you expect them to screw it up at this point?
Ordered from best buy the day before att allowed pre orders. Talked to them yesterday and they got phones in but not mine. They said they are getting them in order of when they were ordered and they have already received 100 of them. All I van say is that there is no way I wasn't one of the first 10 people to order, never mind 100.
Anyway now they can't tell me how long until it comes in, said it could be tomorrow or in a month. Shoulld I just order from att now or wait? How long will it take for me to get one from att? I don't know what to do.
Wait a week, if you don't have your phone from BB then grab one in store from AT&T, that or call local shops to see when they get theirs in store, because if you already paid off your pre-order to BB then the refund/reset process wont be pretty.

There is a guy in the Best Buy thread who can help you. First find out what store# you preordered from (will be on your preorder agreement and/or your receipt) and post in the thread asking if he can look it up for you. He can see how many they have on hand, on order and when they'll arrive. His name is driftr319.

Pretty much....you can cancel your preorder with them and return your GC for a full refund with no problems, if you so choose. If they give you a hard time, speak to a manager and show them the verbiage on the preorder agreement you have where it states exactly that.

Word on the street is that the new in-store launch date for AT&T is 6.28.12. I doubt stock levels are gonna be very high so if your intention is on getting one same day I'd suggest you get there as close to opening as you can. Same for Best Buy and other retail locations.
I can look at how many each bby store has and his many they have in order if you pm me with the store number
I would also like to add that bby has ****ty systems that aren't always accurate

I called the guy couldnt tell me anything just asked if I received a back order email which I didnt so it might still ship soon or on the 1st. I think they are running out on at&t web site too so it might just take a couple days, yes it sucks but what can you do. Maybe we can hear good news from others who bought on best buy maybe theirs has shipped.

I ordered when it showed up as available for purchase (I was waiting). I called just now and they said it's showing as backordered, but that my ETA was 4/4 - 4/15.
If I can find it somewhere else, I'll cancel and re-order, but I'm not expecting anyone else to be faster. I wish I could get the Verizon one without their service and just unlock it (I'm extremely impatient..)
Edit: in the AT&T orders thread people are receiving theirs already or have it shipped. I went ahead and ordered from there as well. I will cancel whichever doesn't ship first.
The Verizon phones are already SIM unlocked outta the box. I believe allnof their phones are but only H+ compatible. No LTE

Not on my still shows the same I log in to my best buy account a few times a day hoping to see a ship confirmation but find nothing but disappointment. I thought about calling them again and complaining about it because I think the best buy web site still has the phone for purchase so why is that if they still have not shipped mine from 3-25-14 at 3pm est ???? Maybe they might discount my price or throw something in but they dont really seem to care when you call as they offer to cancel your order like I really want to do that and end up biting my tongue because I feel that they should not be selling the phones if they dont even have them...

The verizon ones have lte frequencies that I do believe only work for verizon, at least not for at&t, Tmobile or Sprint. I think they work internationally possibly though. The thing about verizon phones is though that verizon wont let htc dev unlock your bootloader, so for the verizon model you wont get root until someone figures out s-off for the htc m8 which I think it may not be long before someone does it sounds like the devs are close to cracking it, once they do you can root the verizon model also. Another reason to hate big red other then them being a holes about everything especially not competing with prices of other networks, hopefully it will be their downfall and they will get taken over by a company with business sense and not a company that wants to squeeze evey penny out of you that they can and think they deserve it...

I ordered the Gunmetal Gray from Best Buy on Tuesday when I ordered it said sips in 3-5 days. I just called BB and they told me that it was back ordered, they said if it does not come back in stock by April 8th then they would automatically cancel my order. He did say that they are expecting it to come back in stock by April 8. It would be nice if I didn't have to call them to find out that it was back ordered.

When I got my order confirmation on the 29th it said: "Estimated arrival date: April 3 - April 15"
