i have samsung galaxy ace 5830i phone and i have rooted and install custom rom
but i have problem with network mode
i have attached two image files in one image network mode are both GSM and WCDMA
and in second image custome rom network mode option USE ONLY 2G NETWORK
SO,
please tell me the solution for the how to get the both mode in custom rom GSM AND WCDMA....
In a costom rom the network mode is set to both mode by defualt

the website is in Korean but you will be able to download the firmware by clicking on the link that reads HOME_E120blah.blah.blah.low_ship.tar (810.8Mb), which takes you to another page with big ass blue button. Click on that blue button to start downloading the file

I think they are a couple of roms you can download.
Just google 'HOME_E120S' and you should be able to d/l stock roms.
Again, google translate is your best friend if you land on a chinese/korean site.

Try Tegrak kernel. A recovery lagfix kernel that includes rooting your e120s.
MTP to UMS Issue
Hi,
I'm using Galaxy S2 HD LTE (SHV-E120S).I changed USB Mass storage mode to MTP Mode by using SKT Hidden Menu option, now the problem is like i'm not able to switch back to USB Mass Storage Mode and Kies is not detecting my phone. :crying:
I tried to connect as UMS from Settings -> More Settings -> USB Utilities -> Connect Storage to PC but not working, connecting as MTP
I'm on Official 4.1.2 Jelly Bean,my OS is Windows XP (SP3).Please help me out.. Any advice would be appreciated..Thanks in Advance

Hi! i bought this s3 i9300 but it looks like somebody rooted with wrong rom, camera says its only 5 megs, also signal issues, kernel version 2.6.35.7-I9300XXKL3- GINGERBREAD.XXKL3 can anyone tell me what to do, cant get it to download mode on ly recovery mode even got a samsung jig but can not get it to download mode please help.
That is not an galaxy s3. Probably a fake.
Because, one there is no gingerbread for the S3, the camera is 8meg.
Sounds fake. Install and run this app. Then paste the results.

From the front its often not easy to see if its a fake, but there is 1 sign that already indicates this, just from the looks. The notification led is bigger than the proximity sensor led. They should have the same size. Fastboot mode is also a killer of course
