Thanks for all your support guys!
I'm going to update this tomorrow or Tuesday and fix a couple of things and I was wondering if I should keep the DPI at 220 or change it to 200. Also, I might as well change the buildprop to say i777 xD

Nice I will test this later

Nope, from my understanding we'll need i777 Jb kernel source for them...

I know dude! For a leak this really works well. I'm gonna run this for quite a while i think. Very stable, haven't had one single force close or SOD.

I guess I will wait until I'm not required to Odin a new kernel if I wanna switch I dislike not having cwm abilities

Or just use mobile Odin. The free version allows kernel flashing and no cables required I haven't tried it yet but I assume it would work fine.

Other then the problems that exist, this is extremely buttery. Has anyone got the 50gb Dropbox to work? Mine still shows 2.5 gb

[MOD][For i717 LE2/LF5/LF6 ROMS] -phMOD- (Beta2 6/5/2012) Adds most SGS3 "Stuff"
phMOD beta2 for ANY rooted and deodexed LE2/LF5/LF6-based i717 ROM
This will NOT work on the stock Official LF6 build that comes directly from AT&T -- rooted or otherwise.
This will NOT work on CM9, AOKP, or any other AOSP-based roms.
Download CWM flashable zip (277MB) from Dev-Host

What is phMOD?
For those custom ROM users who may have been considering a switch to a different ROM just to gain the SGS3 Touchwiz "stuff," I whipped up this small mod to make it easier to get all of the same functionality.
**If anything is missing or broken, tell me and I'll be glad to make another update!**
**The only thing that requires FJ's modded kernels (those with init.d support) is the higher-res ICS boot animation.**
**Please report back with the results on various roms so that I can add them to the tested list.**
Note: This is a BETA mod, so please be sure you have a nandroid backup handy in case I accidentally screwed something up.
Changelog
BETA2 (5 June 2012):
-- Added S-Note (Official)
-- Fixed S-Voice (different modded version with supporting files - seems to work much better! Thank you Mahmood!!!)
-- Added SGS3 Audio files (notifications, ringtones, alarms, ui)
-- Added SGS3 Live Wallpapers (DeepSea, LuminousDots)
-- Removed FJ-specific system files which "should" allow this to work on any i717 UCLE2 rom that uses FJ's modded kernel with init.d
-- Added EVEN MORE SEX APPEAL!!
BETA1 (25 May 2012):
-- SGS3 Touchwiz Launcher
-- S-Voice (Modded version to fix network error)
-- A few SGS3 Touchwiz widgets
-- Flipboard
-- Higher Res ICS Boot animation
-- Some minor debloating (Yellowpages and YPmobile)
-- More sex appeal
Instructions:
1. Flash the zip in CWM
2. Wipe caches (Cache + Dalvik)
3. Reboot System
**Thank you to every single genuine i717 ROM developer!!!!**
PS: This happens to be the very first time I've ever crafted a CWM script. It was cool to learn how and finally contribute something (albeit something VERY minor) to the community! As a former coder (15-20 years ago! Yikes!), this may have just inspired me to do even more... maybe... we'll see......smali scares me! lol
why did you do this when there is a rom that does the same thing

Because you shouldn't need to wipe everything, flash a full "ROM," and then have to reinstall everything just to get a few new apps and files that actually require nothing more than a much smaller flashable zip (aka a "MOD").
This add-on gives you all of the same functionality while allowing you to stick with your own ROM.
Thanks for the addon, it's nice to have a standalone package!
I am here to learn.
Well this add on makes sense IMO instead of flashing the same rom to get a add on !!! Good idea OP no we don't have to restart everything for it

Mine seems to be working, for now, but it looks like a lot of people on different phones are still having that problem -- even with the modded apk I included in this add-on.
I'll look into it some more and let you know what I find out asap!

It does seem kind of vindictive to point out a specific rom, and show how you can take the unique parts from that and put it into another rom. I realize these aren't massive changes so it doesn't really warrant a separate rom, but like I said, feels vindictive. Thanks for the addon though, it's nice to have a standalone package!
Edit: With quotes like...
"For those who may have been considering a switch to the OnlyOne "ROM""
and
"or, perhaps more accurately, this "Add-on" -- will give you everything you get in the OnlyOne "ROM.""
it just seems like you're publicly dogging the other rom creator

Since being "vindictive" was never my goal, I'll change the language around in an attempt to make it sound less harsh. Sorry about that!
EDIT: Done! Since I think I already succeeded in making my original point, I went ahead and removed those references in the OP.

You could always just open the ROM's install zip, browse to the updater script and remove the delete entries for system and data. I know I have successfully done that in the past to alleviate a "heavy re-install session".
I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT MAY HAPPEN FOR DOING SUCH!

You're right of course, that would work. In fact, that's essentially how I made this simple mod (with a little research to ensure I had working apk's and other support files)
Not many users want to mess with cwm zip files and scripts, though, so I did the whopping 10 minutes of work and testing for you!

Can you try wiping cache and dalvik, fix permissions (in cwm), then test the app again?
If that doesn't work, use TiBu to wipe data for the S-Voice 4.0 app, then try opening the app again.
Worst case, I'll make a beta2 to move svoice-signed.apk to /data -- which seems to have helped some people get it to work more consistently.
Let me know!

By the way, if anyone wants to provide me with the framework-res and build.prop files from other UCLE2-based roms, I may be able to make versions of this mod that work for those as well. (doing so may require risky testing, so up-to-date nandroid backups are highly encouraged!)
If nobody provides those files, I may just go hunt them down myself -- but, I'd have to download all the other full roms and updates this weekend to do that, so it would be much faster just to upload those two files for me here.
EDIT: It may even work on other UCLE2 roms by removing those two files from the mod altogether. (I didn't do so originally because I really wasn't sure if they're necessary, and keeping them in doesn't seem to harm anything on FJ's ROM, so I thought it best to err on the side of caution and leave them in).
I'll get something out to test that theory later today!

[ROM][UCLF6] Electron's LEGO ROM - DEODEXED - ZIPALIGNED - ROOTED - DEBLOATED

Well... here we go.
First up, SORRY everyone for my long-ish absence after just having gotten so active around here with my last ROM. My "real" work demanded a 14 day business trip to Germany where I had (unfortunately) absolutely no time for Android and so I totally missed the UCLF6 update etc. Now that I'm back I found a few requests in my PM inbox from people asking for another version of "my" Rom, which of course given the ample selection of really good Roms from highly respected Dev's already being available, is somewhat flattering and being more on the "Stock-ish" side myself, I decided to give you the successor to my barely modded, just deodexed and zipaligned ROM:
Here is (many thanks to Flapp for the deodexed base with his kernel already added in!) my LEGO ROM UCLF6. A bare base with add-on zips for everyone's taste.
The BASE ROM is here (already includes new UCLF6 modem and tethering hack for unlimited wifi and bluetooth tethering):
http://electron73.org/XDA/UCLF6/Electron_stock_deodexed_zipaligned_UCLF6.zip
MD5 Sum (to insure no download errors happen!):
http://electron73.org/XDA/UCLF6/Electron_stock_deodexed_zipaligned_UCLF6.md5
Pure STOCK kernel (stock boot anim etc.) - For whoever doesn't like the glowing android logo of the included kernel in the ROM:
http://electron73.org/XDA/UCLF6/Electron_stock_kernel_UCLF6.zip
15 Toggle Mod with blue battery:
http://electron73.org/XDA/UCLF6/Electron_15toggle_blueBatt_UCLF6.zip
CRT OFF animation:
http://electron73.org/XDA/UCLF6/Electron_CRT_UCLF6.zip
S-Voice Add-on (all required libs included):
http://electron73.org/XDA/UCLF6/Electron_SVoice_UCLF6.zip
Samsung boot sound (replaces the AT&T sound. Note: The kernel has a hardcoded animation, so the samsung animation doesn't show, instead it's a glowing ANDROID logo):
http://electron73.org/XDA/UCLF6/Electron_Samsung-Bootlogo_Sound.zip
And last but not least, for everyone interested in tinkering, here is all the removed BLOAT in one zip. files in "system_app" need to be installed with a root file manager by simply copying them to the /system/app dir. files in "system_etc_vpl" can be installed by simply running them like any other application to be installed.
http://electron73.org/XDA/UCLF6/BLOAT.ZIP
To install the ROM, copy it to the external SD card and install with CWM recovery. If you have my UCLF5 ROM (the direct predecessor to this ROM) then you DO NOT NEED to wipe data, caches etc. Simply install and reboot.
If you are coming from a DIFFERENT ROM, then you MUST wipe cache, dalvik and (for good measure) the data partition (full factory reset, then restore your apps with TiBu etc.)
Hope this comes in handy. As always, I can't be held liable for anything you do with this. Use common sense, backups, caution etc. It works for me and UCLF6 runs great so far

You will lose S Pen and other Touchwiz functionality if you flash this but here is how you can get some of that functionality back! Thanks weehooherod2 for his tips!

1. S Pen works (try out the app Papyrus as a replacement to S Note, Papyrus does utilize the S Pen button as well).
2. Air View works (Go to settings, Language & input, check "Show icon when using stylus".
3. The S Pen button works (Go to settings, Language & input, Stylus gestures, those all use the s pen button).
4. Pop up browser = OverSkreen from the Google Play Store.
5. I use the 4.2 Camera on Touchwiz anyway. There are plenty of good camera apps in the market if you want more features.
6. Multiwindow, I don't know of an alternative. Onskreen's Cornerstone could surely do it!

Okay, so FIRST OFF, I'd like to avoid any flak I may take for this guide lol. Also, I'm not gay or anything. I just prefer not to sound boring and unclear, unlike a lot of people aha. Before you start saying, "CyanogenMod iz da [email protected][email protected]!" and "Yew suk newb unlok yew bootlodah!," I'd like to point out that SURPRISINGLY ENOUGH there are a lot of people here who haven't been able to unlock their bootloader, thanks widely to T-Mobile USA. -.- So there are many people who have root and recovery, but are unable to install ROMs and feel unsafe flashing European phone versions, only to mess up and screw over their phone's digitizer with no knowledge of how to fix it! (lol) Anyways, if that's you.. THIS THREAD IS FOR YOU!

I've heard your cries. I've heard of how you hate the stock UI. I've heard of how you want to theme. I've heard of how you want to flash your phone so far into oblivion until the point where it only shares physical characteristics with the other... stock (ewww) L9's. And here's how to do it! This is going to take some time, and it won't be a perfect thread as it's one of my first. However, I hope I can suit it up into nice sections for you!

Alright, so to all you experienced users, disregard this section aha! Basically I'm teaching you how to root and gain CWM access in a broad 3 step process. Enjoy!
Click to collapse
STEP 1.) Root your phone. If you're on JB, use THIS METHOD. You don't need to do the spritebud check, just run the application provided and it should root you. After you do this, install the Superuser app from the Play Store that was developed by CLOCKWORKMOD, and start it and select "install" on the popup dialog. If it failed to install the binaries, run the LGPwn application again and do it a couple more times until it works, if it doesn't, ask for help on his thread.

STEP 2.) Install busybox and CWM. Go to the Play Store and download the BusyBox app made by Stericson, and install busybox. Then go into Artas' L9 Recovery Installer, and install that. You can find the recovery HERE.
Click to collapse
STEP 3.) When you power on your phone, the LEDs should flash repeatedly for about 3-5 seconds, in order to enter CWM Recovery, press the VOL DOWN button and it should load up the menu. DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING YOU AREN'T SURE ABOUT.

Before you freak out, yes there is customization with rooted phones that doesn't require an unlocked bootloader! The best of which is done using the Xposed Framework, a guide that I made HERE. Check out that guide, it's also a work in progress and YES, I know, it looks hideous. I'm not good at formatting on forum posts, but HEY. I'm learning.

Alright, so you've either continued to read here because... 1.) You're a rebel who didn't click the LINK DARN YOU, 2.) You've themed your phone with Xposed (AWESOME), or 3.) You didn't want to because you're a BORING LAZY POOPFACE. With that being said, ever seen those stupid QSlide apps that you MAY or MAY NOT use? You can't remove them on stock. They take up space and make it look all.. blegh. BUT! There's this really awesome guy named @mateo1111 who created a mod to remove those pesky space-wasters from your precious notifications! AND, if that wasn't enough, he created a mod to make your notification bar PITCH BLACK. It looks absolutely, undeniably, SICK. Here's the links to each of his posts.

Now, there are also modified applications available, in various colors and formats. I personally am a huge fan of transparency, as I use a setup with a (usually) galactic wallpaper, and set that as my keyboard background using "Kii," and have my epic background in all the apps I use But how would I do that? Well, "Team Blackout" has made it easier than ever! I'll leave links to their stuff below I highly recommend their things, and they actually complete orders and requests. It's amazing, and I can't turn back to the bright white and ugly color schemes that Google uses in their applications. Check these out guys

There's a TON of apps in the Play Store (More than iOS now W00T!), but the best are often hidden among the popular Chinese ones filled with advertisements. (Go Dev, I'm looking at you.) So without further ado, here are the applications that I absolutely recommend without a doubt to ANYONE with this phone, or any phone, for that matter.
Textra - This is a given. It's a texting replacement app, and its ingenious Group Chat feature is unrivaled and is cross-platform. It even has an amazing feature to turn on data only when sending/receiving MMS. Amazing. Also, it looks a lot like the "Kik" app if you know what that is. I personally am not a fan of that iOS/Android-blend kinda UI, but it's doable I guess. I recommend using Hangouts for SMS now.
Next Browser - Wow, Go Dev Team actually made a decent piece of software for once! Don't get me wrong, I'm no developer, and couldn't do any better, but their applications are bloated into eternity. Sadly, I've watched this browser get more bloated slowly and slowly, but at least they haven't advertised their other apps in it yet. ANYWAYS, this browser is really fast and smooth, but doesn't sync across devices like Opera/Chrome/Firefox, so sorry to multi-device fanatics.
A replacement launcher - Smart Launcher, Apex, Nova, Holo, Action, anything but the stock LG Home. Please. It's too slow and wastes RAM, and is kinda blegh in my opinion. But to each their own.
Duolingo - Learn a language. Seriously. Do it. It's fun on here. The tools are amazing and it's simply... simple. Spanish/Italian/Portuguese/German/French, and more being added in time. You can also learn English, but I don't see how you'd be reading this..
Bible - Everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, and do not take this as an offense, however, if you are a Christian, this is the most useful spiritual tool you can get on Android "Got Questions" is another good one.
Kii Keyboard - Simply the best. If you know how to use the "Freedom" app, you can crack the in-app purchase to get the full version, not that I recommend it. I've used this since the beta in January (I think it was January) and it's simply gotten better and better. Swype couldn't lure me back.
Music - Omich Player is the best music player on Android, if you want to listen to music. There's apps with 50 different equalizers and a ton of crap I don't want, when I just want my music. This one does just that, using the older Play Music style. It also sports an option for a transparent background.
WifiKill - It kills Wifi. Kicks people off of the network using a simple, yet effective, ARP spoofing method. It literally takes a touch of a button. Great fun when in school or university, and you feel like messing with the teacher or

Oh, so you do want to play games, eh? NERD. Kidding. Anyways, here's what you gotta do. Go HERE and see the second post. Flash it in CWM Recovery (You did install that, right?) and go to "Settings -> Storage" LOOK AT THE DIFFERENCE HEHE. Side note: If your SD Card is less than a Class 10, apps installed there won't run as fast as they would on the system. So if you truly have no need for extra memory, please don't do this with a bad SD card just for lulz ahaha

Is there a mod for switching our status bar to an s3 or s4 status bar?

Removing T-Mobile My Account will have zero adverse effects on your phone, it's just bloatware and can be downloaded on the Play Store if need be.

I'm sure there's an S3/S4 CyanogenMod theme, if there is we can port it and I'd be glad to help you. If there isn't, you can try another.

I'll keep digging for any issues but so far I'm not finding any
