Instruction:
- Open Facebook for Android app and browse to the photo you want to save.
- In Facebook photo viewer, press Menu > Share > then select our app "homi3kh FIG".

maybe I put too much ads xD anyway I don't know what reddit is, thanks for the tips I'll try that reddit. My other app which focus only on my country get 7th place in Top New App righit now but this one I don't know why, it got good concept but the install is so low. I post in numerous forums but not working :|

How do you configure email accts and facebook?
TeleSketch Facebook Upload
TeleSketch will use WinMo messaging to send it's drawing.
Step 1 (Setup WinMo Messaging Email Account)
For e-mail, TeleSketch will use your Pocket Outlook email account.
Go To WinMo Start Menu -> Messaging -> new E-mail Account
Step 2 (create Facebook's m.facebook Upload Email)
For facebook, you must first setup your Facebook's upload email account,
go to your facebook account, then 'Profile' -> 'Wall' -> click 'Attach Photos' -> 'Upload a Photo' -> 'Upload via email' -> take note for your 'personal upload email' normally like this '[email protected]'
Then from TeleSketch Menu -> Send -> Facebook -> enter your 'm.facebook Upload email' just created before -> also enter your account for sending email from step 1 above.
Notes:
TeleSketch will also use WinMo messaging to send this facebook upload email, so be sure you can send email from pocket outlook before.
For MMS, TeleSketch will also use WinMo messaging. Please be sure you can send MMS using Pocket Outlook before.
Omnia sluggish, not responsive touch screen
To those of you using Samsung Omnia SGH-i900 may experienced sluggish, not responsive touch screen (drawing ink lag behind).
You can try this registry tweak:

-Save the changes and soft reset the phone for the new setting to take effect!
- The original data will be reset if you do the 5 points calibration procedure

No start icon
I found the reason why no TS icon showed up in the
Program start list. It is a localization problem
again! TS now saves its start icon/lnk file to a
folder named \Windows\Start Menu\Programs. In the
localized version there is no such folder, in
this version it is \Windows\Start-meny\Program, so
the system does not find the TS lnk file.
So don't hardcode the destination folders, please.
Using Wizard on WM 6.5.1 and the only problems I see thus far have to do with the camera picture. The photo does not fit the screen. It seems that no matter if I choose "fit to screen" or not the photo does not fit the screen (only a smaller portion of it).
Other than that (and the program icon need some work LOL) it works and is fun to be able to send drawings via MMS.

We know, TeleSketsa have problem with Camera Capture.
SHCameraCapture() appear to ignore the requested resolution.
To remedy this problem, change the camera resolution in the camera application:

Start Your Default Camera Application
Set the resolution in your default camera Application

- On some devices, after viewing a photo album, MS Facebook is unable to view any other contact's album pictures and generate their album list.
- On some configurations, MS Facebook is unable to remember login credentials after closing the app.

- Slow page scrolling reported on some devices.
- After viewing a photo album, MS Facebook is unable to view any other contact's album pictures and generate their album list.
- dominicanman912 reports that MS Facebook changed the volume keys mapping, so he's unable to change the volume anymore. There are no other reports of this issue.
- Facebook throws out an error while trying to fetch the inbox.
- megapinky is reporting he's unable to change photo to see another ones in the picture view, with gestures not working.
- Sometimes MS FB will not post updates once submitted; you'll need to try multiple times until your wall gets updated.
- pndragon reports that his all his news feeds are showing up as double posts.
- On i8000 if you should have install problems try follow this guide (thanks to b006): Restall v1.1 from Marketplace to override the preinstalled version, then go to Main Storage in settings and delete it (uninstall). Next install this version 1.2, not in main (since the preinstalled v1.1 is there to avoid conflicts) but in other storage options you have.
- On some devices, Facebook throws out an error message while trying to poke someone.

Yeah, it's strange that they didn't posted that in the touchscreen marketplace, also because there's a huge version bump (from 1.0.0.7 to 1.1.0.14) and some very welcome new features; when first extracted the original CAB wouldn't even install on my HD2 so I had to build it from scratch, so hopefully they're doing something better for our WM Professional devices.
Scrolling is very very slow.. Need to drag using the scroll bar to scroll down faster.. Is there a fix?

Will look into that, but as far as I know there's no solution. As it's an application released to work only on non touchscreen devices, they probably didn't put much attention into (kinetic) scrolling. If I had to scroll down faster I used the scroll bar, too, but imo that's not too much of a hassle

After trying it a while now I've noticed that this version is a big improvement... Friends pictures of their faces loads almost instantly, contact list and other stuff also loads much much faster than before. Plus the new comments feature is nice of course.
I've also noticed it caches face images (probably to make them load faster), you can move the cache with a simple change in the registry at HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Facebook\ImageCache where you can see the Path...
I moved mine to Internal Storage (Internminne\FacebookCache)

There are a lot of new registry values added by Facebook after the first run like DeleteMailPeriod, UserActionPublished, V1, V2, V3, V4. The Path was something I had noticed while building the cab, I'm sorry I didn't told you about this entry buy I wanted to be sure that the app was stable for everyone.
In the meanwhile, I found a bug tho: FB app is not generating thumbnails for my (and my friends) photo galleries after I checked someone else album. Can you replicate them, too?

I wanted a completely "unique" look for my Vega. I've tried basically every launcher/home screen available, and none of them felt right. Honeycomb is in the wild, but until that makes it's way to the Vega in a fast and stable form I wanted something that I enjoyed using day-to-day. So, here is VintageVega:

This is an original pack created by me, containing 28 "Objects" and 3 Wallpapers (with a shelf to place some of the objects on) for now. I'm sure that I will add more later. Further down this post you will also find ALL of the PSD files I used to create all of the objects and wallpapers. So if you have Photoshop or GIMP you can edit these yourself to your own liking. You will be able to achieve this entire set up using entirely free applications available on the Android Market, and you will need NO knowledge of advanced tools (such as ADB from the Android SDK). this can all be done directly from your Vega.
To set up VintageVega, you will need the following apps:
ADW.Launcher (I am using ADWLauncher EX but normal ADW should be fine.
Set up your launcher Auto-Stretch icons, and set the grid to 6 Columns and 6 Rows (columns is flexible, but you will probably have to keep the rows at 6 for the shelf). Also I would fix the launcher orientation ot Landscape (VintageVega ONLY works in landscape mode!).
A nice clock widget! I use (and paid for) ShotClocks but you could easily use the free Big Ben Clock or many alternatives on the Market.
SiMi Folder Widget for creating lovely categorized folders on the desktop.
Desktop VisualizeR to place all of the objects in onto your screen
Here are some images of how I have set up my Vega using the VintageVega pack:
This is an EXAMPLE, you can set up VintageVega in any way you like!
Home screen:
Lightswitch on the right opens the app drawer (accross all screens).
clock is a ShotClocks widget.
Portrait on the left (of me and my daughter ) opens the Gallery app.
Cash Register under the portrait opens the Android Market.
Globe opens the browser (Miren Browser for me).
Calendar under the clock opens the Calendar App.
Scrapbook (with stamps) opens the Social Networking SiMi Folder widget (more on that later).
Toolbox opens the Settings menu.
Stack of letters on the shelf opens the Email app.
Office Screen:
The World Map opens Google Maps Application.
Books along the shelf opens Aldiko (but could easily open Kindle App or a SiMi Folder widget with multiple choices).
Newspaper rack opens news reader app (Pulse in my case).
Phone opens Skype.
Entertainment Screen:
Film Projector screen opens SiMi Folder containing BBC iPlayer and YouTube apps.
The 3 portraits along the top open: Angry Birds - Seasons | Angry Birds | Dungeon Defenders (The PST to create your own framed image is linked in the PST pack at the bottom of this post).
The Radio on the bottom right opens the Music App (but again, this could open another SiMi Folder).
The Games along the bottom left open a SiMi folder containing a list of my games, here is an example of how a SiMi Folder set up in this way looks:
Please note, ALL screen shots above have been lowered in quality to make them smaller files, the images are actually MUCH higher resolution than this.
To set up a SiMi Folder Widget:
Open the app Drawer and select SiMi Folder.
Select "Add Folder".
Choose a folder name, and set the folder type to "Apps", then click Save.
Select your newly created folder, and tap on "Applications" on the right.
Add all of your desired applications to the folder.
Click Save, and then exit.
All done!
To add an object to your home screen:
Copy all of the objects images in a folder to your memory card.
Long-press on a blank area of the screen and choose "Widgets" to add a widget.
Select one of the "Desktop VisualizeR" (from now on I will refer to this as DTV) sized widgets (selecting 4x4 gives the best image quality, then you can re-size the widget to the correct size afterwards.
Tap on the newly created DTV widget to open the DTV menu and start configuring your object.
For Icon, select one of the VintageVega Object images from the gallery (or whatever app you chose).
For Action, you can either select "Launch Application" to select a single application, or "Other" to choose a SiMi Folder that you have already set up.
Once you have selected an action, clear the Label field so it is blank.
Change the "Touch Effect" from Orange to "None".
Click OK!
That's it! It seems like a long process, but once you are used to it, you will be adding and moving objects to your hearts desire

Are you serious? You will need to thoroughly study the files that have been changed. And remember that, while the Android on the Vega is very slightly modified, the Samsung Galaxy S has a whole different user interface, aka Touchwiz, with which the theme must interact.

I dont think it would be very difficult to create this on another machine. The only tricky part would be if the device you were using had a different resolution, then it would just mean a bit of maths or trial and error to work out how to resize the backdrops and icons so that they lined up with the shelf.
Everything else is just apps.
Hi there! I've made a custom-sized wallpaper for phone devices for you that might work a little better (I based it on the SGS screen dimensions).
I pretty much guessed at the shelf location, so you will have to play with ADW row numbering to get it to fit. If the shelf needs adjusting just let me know (best way would be to post a screenshot) so I can see how much it is out by and fix it!

Instruction:
- Open Facebook for Android app and browse to the photo you want to save.

Sorry abotu that, this is my first International app, I'll learn from my mistake.
No more shortcut on ur homescreen, no browser bookmark, homepage.
Also you won't see ads when you exit the app anymore and startup EULA also removed.

let me tell you, what if the pic have text that is small and you can't read? when you take screenshot, it's not full definition bro. This app let you save the full definition of the photo, you can zoom in and out, save, save as and rename it delete as you please.

I already put what the ads do and explain the permission. What do you expecting? it also has a paid app without any ads.

On the Note 2 you can just share the picture with the built in photo editor app. Then save the picture.

EDIT: I mistaken! It works good for Facebook, as it is made for it....but also Gmail app sees it as a possible app to use to save images from attach (from the Share menu)...but I get an FC in saving. Would be nice to give support also to Gmail. It would be a great super app as for Facebook it works very well!!!!!!!!!

Hey dagger, no matter what version of SetCPU I download, I don't get the Frequency Slider like the one in the pic. Any ideas?
Maybe the OP hasnt posted the latest version in that thread.
Because the latest version only has that slider.
If you really want that slider either buy it from play store or "you know what".

Since every bit of RAM in the X8 phones counts, if you're a power user (meaning you know what you're doing), I say get rid of Superuser and SuperSU. You don't really need a separate app to manage your permissions.
Use: SimpleSU (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1978253).
This way you manage your permissions with just a list. And after setting all of them, you can even uninstall the GUI (or not even install it in the first place). Neat.
The trick here is to check the list of processes with root access in SuperSU, since for example with SetCPU you not only need to grant access to com.mhuang.overclocking, but to com.mhuang.overclocking.ProfilesService as well.
