Why are you bumping this thread? As moonzbabysh said it's not for our devices, its for GSM Touch Pro.
Tried to search but didn't see much. If some files were ported from the One S per say, could they work with the LTE? How similar is the hardware? Sorry for the nub questions.

He = his EVO, so I think it's OTA update...

And if you would take a minute to read the stickies, you would know what all that is. OTA is an update sent to your phone from your carrier. GSM are phones on networks like ATT and T-Mo. CDMA are Sprint and Verizon.

Look around in the Original Android Development forum for us. There is a GSM patch. Not sure exactly where, but its out there somewhere
