So, I plan on getting an extended battery once Verizon ships me a new HTC Rezound (due to speaker & overheating problems) and I was curious about where you got your extended battery, and the price you paid for it?
Well, I took a trip to Verizon today and was told that they didn't have any in stock and I would have to order it for 79.99. Obviously, I know there has to be cheaper.
So guys, lets hear it, where did you get your Battery + Back, and at what price?
I bought mine right from Verizon, they where on sale for $30 each (I bought three)

+1. Bought mine last week for $29.99 on sale for half off. Box said $59.99 rang up for $29.99 . I think if the sale is over HTC PEDIA had them on sale for $32.44. Yep just checked. Good luck .

Do you think if I call Verizon, they would know if its on sale? I don't want to go in, get one, then when the person rings it up as $60 Say I don't want it anymore.

Pick mine up for $30 as well, and asked if they can do some kind of combo deal if i added the otterbox defender . I got it both for $60, but yeah hurry now, the ext. battery sale is for this month only.

I went and got the extended battery today and they told me the sale was over, it rang up at 49.99. Did a bundle deal and paid 42 after tax. I did take care of my overheating problem though. Used to hit 127 degrees and lose 25% of battery playing shine runner. Now it didn't go over 111 and lost 8%. I'm happy.

I got mine for $30 yesterday when I got the phone. Now the phone weighs about what my Incredible did with the 3500 mAh battery.
Thus far...rather light usage since I really don't have "new phone syndrome" this time, I've barely budged the battery indicator with the phone up for four hours. The Incredible would be down below 85% under similar conditions.

Yeah, just go in the store give them your number so they can look up your account and see if you have a discount. It may work on other accessories as well.
Picked mine up today. If you haven't done it yet, it sounds like tomorrow is your last chance.

Hey guys, I saw this posted over on SlickDeals and didn't see it posted on XDA. Figured I'd post it here in case anyone is interested.
Buy.com has the 16GB Flyer for $199.99 with free shipping. It is a refurbished unit, so hopefully everything works properly. I'm not sure about international shipping charges, I imagine it is only free to the US (could be wrong though).

I bought one of these yesterday at 6pm, paid for 2 day shipping and it arrived today at 2pm - 20 hours!!!
It looks great, like I just took it out of the original wrapper. I tried it for a few minutes, then upgraded (I guess that's debatable) to honeycomb. It's leedroid version, so I suppose it should be pretty good.
Now this is the first thread I read in the general section... what ever happened to the days when I would read for days on how to root a new system

I've never heard mention of an active digitizer for the asus tablet. There's really not enough solid information out there.

I really don't understand why there aren't more pen based tablets out there. If this doesn't work, for 189, I'll just give it to one of my kids to draw on /watch videos.

There are brand new HTC pens on ebay for $54 shipped. The regular 2 button ones, not Fujitsu.

I almost freaked out when it shot up to $229 on the 16th but then I checked about 3 hours later and it was back to $199. Ordered it immediately after, just in case. Wondered if there was a glitch on their site.

Well after great 7 months with this device, not a drop, not a scratch, never mistreated....i leave it on my top of my car while buckling up some kids i was babysitting...drive off...within the 5 mins it took for me to get back, someone(s) drove over it, picked it up and took it home.
The next 2 hours were spent trying out every device location idea i could come up with. I pretty sure due to the damage it couldnt send info when activated by text but luckily sprints family locator service worked like a charm. Probably the only time i can give a good review of anything sprint. Knock on the door of the people that had it and got it back in shambles ...take a look.

I got bad news that my Flyer's motherboard is dead (After several rom flashings i killed it or the battery), so I would like to replace it myself..

BB wouldn't let me trade mine in because the screen is cracked (happened a couple weeks before) and Sprint offered me $60. I decided to just keep it as a back up in case something happens to this one because the crack isn't that bad...still very much usable. If I had been able to get $230 for it though, might have been a different story...

Didn't have the OG EVO, but did have the EVO 3D, and I couldn't sell that thing to save my life. I ended up just giving it to my wife. I had a desktop dock, car dock, 2 chargers, an Otterbox commuter case, a silicone case, and 3 high quality screen protectors, and was only asking $300 for it all. Had like 3 people want to trade me a PS3 for it, and that was it. Pretty upsetting.

Same boat here. I refused to sell it back to Sprint the day I bought the EVOLte and still can't seem to part ways with it. I keep telling myself I need it just in case something "goes wrong." I still use it as an alarm and occasionally to surf the web if the new phone is charging or something.
I had to break mine to get over it.

I thought about keeping it as a backup for a few days, but then decided to sell. I figure if I ever break or lose my LTE, a used og evo will be even cheaper down the road. Pretty happy with the $150 I got on craigslist for it.
I am actually still using mine. My contract for it doesn't come up till November. I have been here researching and waiting for info on LTE, so I can decide whether to get the new EVO, or go to another company. The only issue I have with the actual phone is the battery life. If I put this thing on Wimax(cause 3g in my area is no better than dial-up), it drains like crazy. November cannot come soon enough.
I always pass my old tech to friends or coworkers. Just seems the thing to do with it

Did you have bestbuy insurance? If so just have them replace it and then sell them back the new one. Thats what I did

I wish! I went rogue with that one...I decided not to buy insurance because I thought I could just be careful with it. And I was...until about two weeks before my upgrade, of course... Didn't make that mistake this time though.

My charger port died and I fried the microphone on my OG, so I got an extra battery and external charger and gave it to my 4 year old to play games on.
Still using it on wifi. It got so much better reception that i could set it to "sprint only" while at work. The lte roams on verizon.
Love the size of all the screen objects, text, icons, friendstream buffer and extended battery.
Think it would be easier to trash the lte yup L ess T han E qual.

I'm not sure it was a mistake.
Insurance was probably about $7 a month X at least 20 months = $140 saved. How much do you think you could have sold it for?
I think getting $230 for a two year old cdma phone would be rare.

Long story short: I have a nice EVO LTE that is missing the back-top cover. I would just slap a case on it and be jolly, but this cover apparently has antennas in it.
When searching for a replacement on eBay, I found that the prices were either ~$20 OR they were ~$100!! What gives?

You could always keep your eye on eBay for one that has a heavily damaged screen.
Also, did you try calling HTC to see if they sell it as a replacement part?
