Hopefully Verizon just made a mistake - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

I was comparing note 2 and DNA on Verizon's website and it lists note 2 as not having NFC Lol

that has to be a typo.

This has been in discussion for about a month now. The general consensus is that is a mistake.

Well, as long as T-Mobile works in your area, then awesome. For me, it would be impossible LTE vs Edge...

Doesn't the Note II need NFC for S-Beam to work? ...Yeah, I'm definitely thinking that was a typo.

Yes, has been discussed to in Q&A. VZW has even acknowledged this is wrong IIRC, yet they are not going to fix it on their webpage.

Gotta love the Verizon web devs and marketing folks making errors of such significance as to leave out NFC support and putting in S-Beam which the average person won't know what it is.
Of course I do like the commercial where the dad is leaving on a trip and as het gets in the taxi the kids use S-Beam to send him a movie and then his wife does the same, but suggests he not watch it on the plane with a smile oh yeah. I guess those iPhone folks can't do that.

Pretty Upsetting For Galaxy SIII Purchasers

Kind of a mean thread title but my buddy has an SIII being held by store manager until tomorrow and is excited and just got news of Galaxy SIII not being released tomorrow on Sprint. Apparently pre orders will still be at doorstep tomorrow for 16GB but not 32 and that is only shipped devices, not in store purchases.

just showing something that I felt was a little funny and even informative for people wanting the SIII tomorrow morning. I like the SIII but wouldn't ever think of trading this device for that one. I remember the Epic 4G vs my Incredible... No comparison at ALL!

PSA... friends don't let friends drive while looking for Sprint LTE

We're distracted enough out there on the road as it is...last thing we need are a few thousand Android geeks looking at their phones to see if they have LTE. Or worse yet, toggle settings while cruising to get that fleeting glimpse of a not-ready-for-primetime LTE signal.
Let's be careful out there ...

Especially for those of us on motorcycles. I don't know how many close calls I've had where the driver was to busy talking or texting.

The pictures the Note 2 takes in the "Low Light" settings is absolutely amazing! I can't wait to try the group face changing pictures.

If you think those are nice pics you should see a pic that's not so grainy... No offense OP but those pics don't seem the best? I don't think I could do any better myself though but I have seen some beautiful pics come from these cameras but I think it just takes time to learn all the settings and get the feel of the Note 2. The first one is not too bad though... :good:
Fair point. What is a good setting in low light on note 2 to have better pic? I am overwhelmed by different settings. ..

Like I said, I probably can't do any better than that myself! I just know that the Note 2 and S3 are capable of VERY nice pics and the settings have me all confused too... I try to stick to outdoor pics with good lighting and I always get good shots.
Yeah but were any of then note 2s you saw rooted unlocked and romed? lol

*Scribble Racer S-pen review*
So the more and more i use the S-pen on my galaxy Note 2 the more im going to the regret swapping this phone for the Galaxy S4 when Samsung finally releases the phone for verizon wireless's network. But in the mean i've stumbled upon this very addictive game called scribble racer, and it's designed to utilize the S-pen effectively, hence it being small and precise. Use of the game the game is possible with your finger but you'll have a harder time advancing very using that method. Hope you guys enjoy

That game is fun i found it the next day i had my note2..its fun cause you get to use your spen thats like the only game i play except for draw something and words when the wife makes me play against her
I confused as to why you would give up the note 2 for the S4. If you like the phone you have, keep it.

Well as a content creator .... it is most beneficial to my channel growth... to have the latest devices.... im not sponsored nor rich so I cant get my hands on most of the lastest devices .. so I usually pick and choose which I want to get my hands on.... and the reason why I would trade the n2 for the gs4... is to cut the cost of the gs4 making it more affordable to obtain than the full retail price

2 things:
1) Don't bump the thread within 24 hours.
2) Ask your friend to sell it to you for a couple of hundred bucks or less.
I would never get rid of my s2, I'm keeping it for good.
But that's just me.

Don't you smell something fishy with this trade?
The S3 is better for gaming, that's for sure.
