I just dug into the menu finally and am just happy that it lets me get rid of that annoying screen that pops up every time I open an app... And it takes off auto Wi-Fi also

yes I know but thats not as big of a deal to me as everytime I open an app out around town on 4g the whole screen was filled up with it trying to force me onto wifi

It says the file has been removed

I just got unlock, recovery and root and came straight here to be happy and flash this, then disappointed by a file not found message.... :'(

lol okay now its fixed!

I ran this followed by the debloat (v3) script, and now I have no htc widgets.
I have attached an undo for the wifi notification removal, although it has not fixed my widgets issue.

Worked great thanks!!
Not an iPhone.....

thenks men

Thanks, I really don't like wasting space on information I don't want or need This worked great, and right up my ally... nice and easy

Any chance some one can make a zip to get rid of the N icon from the nfc being enabled?

There was an earlier version of the De-Bloat script that removed ShowMe.apk,.odex and HTC_Widget_ShowMe.apk,.odex which causes the HTC widgets to be hidden from adding them. Sounds like you may have run the earlier version. I recommend first try flashing the "Fix" zip file on that post, and if still nothing, post in that thread, the Dev that made the script is really responsive and can likely help you out.

[MOD] Remove Notification Clock CWM flashable 02/04/11

This mod will remove/restore the clock in the notification bar.
- THAT IS ALL IT DOES - Whatever theme your using will remain untouched.
NOW CWM FLASHABLE!
I can only confirm this working with Bionix V, Bionix V 1.2.
try on other ROM's at your own risk.
I don't see why it should'nt work though.
Im not responsible for your phone and what you do to it!
Installation:
Download zip of choice
Place zip on SDcard
Flash Thru CWM
Reboot - expect long initial boot
Enjoy.
Thank you much
EDIT: Just in case anyone else pushes this mod...the phone will hang on a black screen for about 2 minutes before your launcher appears. I am assuming this is normal, just be patient...it will load
ok so i dont know if its coincidence but i copied the .jar, rebooted, was taking abnormally long, did a battery pull, rebooted phone and it works fine. But for some reason my xda app wouldnt open. i just unintalled then re-installed.. Goodbye annoying clock...

no you will retain the battery mod, it will only remove the notification clock -- any other themes / mods will remain intact and unchanged

Thanks for the mod. No more ugly white clock. Much appreciated.

I flashed this on nero5 and I can confirm that it went through. As far as if it broke anything I can not confirm. I'll report back if anything changes or fc's occur.
Edit: thanks
Looks good to me! Thanks again.

i dont quite get you're question.
when you say AM/PM indicators, where do you see that?
this mod should take out the notification clock completely. AM/PM and ALL
if you're talking about AM/PM indicators in clock widgets / lockscreens or wherever else. then it's a different story.
No I mean a seperate mod that just removes the AM/PM instead of the whole clock.
from what i saw, they go together. cant have one and not the other. but i'll have another look if i find some time.
Thanks you!!! I've been looking for something like this.

The Way Blur Should Have Been
Last updated: 8.27.2011 v0.94
Got tried of the Gingerbread look, I kinda missed a little blur. I do enjoy a little bit of black though. Still a work in progress, and there are a lot of things that still need to be done. Let me know if you find any bugs or want to suggest something. I'm no photoshop artist; so credit is due where credit is due. This is mashed up from places, and a lot of modifications by me.
Attached to this post.
The monkey and the skateboard.
You must flash over a Gingerbread rom.
Please do not flash this over CM7 or HP Touchpad. It won't work.
Flash using custom recovery.
If you want to know how I changed the ERI Banner from "Verizon Wireless" to my name, head over to my tutorial I posted!
This is great, installed fine. Main problem is, can you upload these and this version without your name as the ERI instead of making us do it? Probably back to Verizon Wireless. Also some of the text for certain programs in the notification bar is white on white (Dropbox when uploading/downloading).
I'm not running Eclipse yet (waiting for newer update) but was wondering where you got that lockscreen and if you could change the lockscreen to look more like this theme. I love the blue for 3G and Signal .
Oh! Whoops....... forgot i gad my name on there. I pulled it straight from my phone. The lock screen should be styled, it's part of pattern lock. The slider lock screen is just Gingerbread style, ill look into getting a Honeycomb slider lock screen.
Sorry guys about my name being in there!!
Edit: FIXED!! Check op.

Tapin' the talk from my Droid x2.
I'm kind of new to this so this may be a stupid question. I installed this theme but my battery in the status bar doesn't look like yours... Is that another app that I have to download?
Never mind, it worked after I rebooted.
Flasjed this over Eclipse v.6 Remix. Looks good. Thanks again.

Drop-Down Settings

Coming from my OG Evo and Deck's ROM, I'm really missing the drop-down settings toggles on this phone. It's funny, too: I swore I'd never go back to Sense after I finally got rid of it for AOSP back in the Vaelpak days, but things are so smooth and flawless with the LTE that I actually have no desire to switch to anything else at the moment (I've only had the phone for a week, though).
Except for the toggles! I'm constantly finding myself flipping down the notification menu looking for a sound profile switcher or a 5-way brightness control or a WiFi toggle or even quick access to airplane mode. I know there are widgets available to partially cover this, but those aren't accessible from within other apps.
End communication.

Dont worry this will all come in due time. I think viper rom has some toggles already.
Well now it's just one more step... You just gotta press settings. I'm sure in due time a developer will create a rom with these settings.

Well GPS is technically two steps now. Click settings then location. Wish they left that with wifi, bluetooth, etc.
Not to worried about it. I'm sure it will be on a ton of ROMs.
ViperROM 1.2 has many of them. Can't wait for Zeus mods myself

test 3D for me
So I made some 3D wifi icons to test and they look awesome when they are big but when you shrink them down, they dont look 3D anymore. Will someone try these for me and give me your honest opinion so i don't put any more work into them if you cant tell.
Here is a link to a flashable test of that color. You can falash any of the others (including stock white) to get back

Lock screen notification pop up preview

There are certain features that are very important to me like being able to ready message on lock screen .. I'm very dissapointed that this phone does not have that option
I feel like we took a few steps back from previous phone software
I switched from the HTC one m8 and I'm considering switching back

I said the same thing. People argued with me and said the G2 didn't have that ability, but it certainly did. In the message/notification settings.
I really want that, option, as well as call reject, a native flashlight app, LG browser and task app(Verizon sucks), the ability to sync my Facebook calendar with LGs. There a ton of little things I'm missing

There's an app called Floatify that will show your messages on your lock screen. I haven't tried it out, but it appears to be getting some good reviews.

To read messages on the lock screen just get Dashclock widget and Dashnotifier extension. (may not even need the dashnotifier, can't remember for sure but I have both) and put the widget on your lockscreen in place of the clock,
See that's the awesome thing about Android is if you don't like something about your phone or want a certain feature.... Then change it! Between Apps and Xposed modules you can make a really nice stock ROM with pretty much anything you could ask for. Once we get the bootloader unlocked and start getting custom ROMs, forget about it, this thing is going to be a BEAST!

Xposed has the xblast module that has lockscreen notifications and lockscreen flash in it but it crashes sometimes so I use floatify and I love it. For flash light I use the g3 tweaksbox by assigning one of the volume buttons in "miscellaneous tweaks" when the screen is off.
