Ya mate, you have to flash it with odin.. Select the extracted file in csv field and just flash..
ensure that you have left pit field empty and repartion option unchecked..

Yes it is for gs2 GT I9100...
Yes odin is the suitable and easiest way. No idea on other methods.. Odin is very simple method, try it.. It takes five mins or so..

from your name I guess you are from India...
So try the steps in the following link...
DDQ6 for Galaxy Ace
Was it CWM4 or ROM manager?
ROM manager is a big no no for the Ace. Too be safe CWM4 needs to be a special mod for the Ace too.
Using ODIN you'll be flashing an entire ROM, imo you may as well go custom. I think TheMythICS ROM is the best!

flashed this one ove3r froyo
Yup that's the correct one... hmm... let me see what I can come up with.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
Okay. You went wrong with flashing CWM4 over Froyo. You need to use ODIN to flash CWM3 to get back.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using xda premium
But you may as well update to Gingerbread while you'are there... takes just over 5 min. Have a look at some of the custom ROM's in the development section...

link to download firmware on that page is not working
Then you can skip CWM3 because you'll get 4 or 5 with most ROMs.

Okay, its on Sammobile. I'm on my phone so it is gonna take a while to get you the link.

Help please

Hello, today I bought my galaxy s3 and really loved the ics software it had on it, but I took the jellybean update and do not like it. Is there a way to downgrade it back to ics? Couldnt find a tutorial anywhere. I just want a stock ics. No root or anything. Hate all you want. I like it. Thanks in advance.

REPLIES ARE TOTAL NONSENSE .
You dont need root to revert flash stock ICS via Odin .
Root will be removed on stock flash .
But you are in the wrong forum and firmware from this I9300 forum will brick a SPH-L710.
see sticky top of the page .

Pit file is not needed. Just put the file into PDA that's it.

Next time please search before posting and use the Q&A section or the Q&A thread.
