Flash a different stock rom - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi all
I have I9100XXLPW firmware
kernel 3.0.15.I9100XWLPD-CL524746 ........
Android 4.0.3
Can I flash to I9100XXLQB or I9100XXLQ7 (Android 4.0.4)
(Stock roms from SamFirmware)
Thanks

yes, you can.

But it will not brick S2 right?

after flashing the new firmware, then change the kernal to siyah or similiar where the brickbug has been disabled.
Do not attempt to wipe with the stock 4.0.4 kernal, it may have the brickbug enabled.

Thanks I' ll investigate that

All 4.0.4 ROMs for i9100 are leaked and their kernels contain eMMC_CAP_ERASE hardbrick bug.

In the other thread you said you have Speedmod kernel. Just flash any ICS rom in Recovery you want. If you want stock rom, flash WanamLite. It comes with Siyah Ics kernel.

Only leaked 4.0.4 Kernels with the MMC_ERASE_CAP enabled. No 4.0.3 kernel is affected.
If you have flashed a 4.0.4 leaked ROM, either flash Siyah Kernel to wipe, or flash a 4.0.3 ROM in ODIN (not Mobile ODIN).
P.S. This has been covered in so many threads, if you had searched for five seconds you would have found your answer. Get used to searching.

[Q] How to restore to 4.0.3 from JB 4.1.2 STOCK leak?

Hey everyone, I would like to know if after I've installed the JB 4.1.2 Stock Leak on phone I could just restore it by flashing a ROM using Odin (the ROM that you can download from Sammobile) or I need to do something else?
Note: I got Philz CWM 6 Kernel and root on XXSJ.
Sorry if it is kind a noob's question, but thank you for your help.

Yes.
But do I need to change the kernel or can I keep Philz's?

Rooting stock 4.1.2 xxemc2

Ime on xxemc2, can I root my stock rom and keep the xxemc2 bootloader and stock kernel or I only have one solution (flash old bootloader)??
Thanks in advance
