Hi guys, I'm not a noob here at xda.
I just ported a Rom which is actually a cm9 Rom. I somehow managed to make it boot and the lock screen appeared. But unfortunately the TOUCHSCREEN DOESN'T WORK???
I did ask means but no use. Also the physical buttons doesn't work but I can fix it but what about the touchscreen.
Can any one tell me which file takes care of touch screen. It's it in the hw folder or etc folder or in modules ???

i was using android 2.2
everthing went well but after some time touch failed sometimes when i go to my lock screen
i removed all the data from my memory card regarding android ,,,
now i am using the windows 6.5 (original )and every time i go to lock screen , the touch fails !!!!!!!!!!!

you guys tried to use a different roms ? of wm or android ? ... i got problem almost the same i changed my windows mobile rom then changed or re-installed my android and worked everything fine
This was posted a while ago but I had the same problem. I thought it was from the many different rom changes I have done so I stripped the phone and put it back to day one and it was still doing the same thing. It even does it while using the phone and I will have to lock it and then unlock it to get it to fix soooo...... I figured it was a hardware issue and called t-mo and they are replacing it under warranty.
ok. but when you`re out of warranty - then you`ve got serious problem. Nobody knows what is wrong ?

I have a Qware TB-9718D tablet (rebrand of ployer-momo11-speed) with RK3066 CPU and Android 4.04.
I've installed the CWM-ROM-Ployer_Momo11_3-0-8_M1_software_chinese-version_4-2-2_20130425-4-2& CWM ROM (Android 4.2.2) on the tablet and it boots just fine.
However, the touch screen does not seem to work anymore with this ROM.
I have tried two touch screen fixes (which were suggested on another site): one of which was the 907c_compatibility_1.2.0.zip
Both files did not solve the problem.
Does someone else have any suggestions on how to fix the touch screen with this ROM?
Could I for example extract the touch screen driver from the original ROM's lib folder and use it in this new ROM?

After updating my I9200 to kitkat the touchscreen was not working any more, I've tried to install Cyanogen Mod and the touch worked again, can I make a customized rom or a batch for just the touchscreen driver files like "sensors.msm8960.so" maybe.
P.S: my digitizer was replaced before.

I have ported many roms for a device (like KK,MM,N) (MIUI,AOSP,Flyme,AICP,RR etc)
everything working fine, but the problem is when the phone not in use (i mean screen off mode/locked) only that time it goes turn off/power down!(there is no specific time how long later it goes off).
but other ported 2/3 roms are working fine..
Attention: it's not hardware problem.
Device : mt6592 kk(3.4.67)--> i know it's old but... the problem is the problem
i can use the working rom but you know it's not easy to give up!

I have Galaxy A505F device. My phone's touch screen was broken. Installed local touch folder after that.
All things gone right but after few day I updated to android pie and after updating the touch screen is not working.
Not able to downgrade.
The error shows while downgrading is ""Binary-7 to 5"
Any solution guys.
Really need help guys
