hi, i want to remap the menu button to 'recents' like on cm10 but with the 3 dots for menu function in apps. however i am unable to find a method, can someone redirect me to a link or possibly make a script to work on samsung JB roms? hope someone can help me...

ParanoidAndroid 1.98 has the ability to change actions on hardware keys.
CM10 has the option to remap the keys. You can disable the action on any key.

Remix rom had this option in ICS version before, in system setting -> Rom control -> General UI. However, the JB version is new, this option is not available yet, you may have to wait for a new JB rom. If you want more option, you may use an ICS rom and wait for a stable JB rom.
Hi! Currently running CM 10.1 on my intl SGS3, which I quite late realized wasn't a good idea given lack of Exynos hardware documentation from Samsung.
Currently trying to figure out what stock based ROM I should switch to, if any. CM10.1 has been working OK but with some gapps crashes now and then.
My main things that I would want to keep from CM10.1 is
1) Hardware button re-mapping -- I don't like not having a recent apps/multitask button so I reassign menu to this. Do any stock ROMs enable this?
2) LED color assignment -- the pulsing led feature in CM10.1 is great. I tried various apps to do this while I was running original firmware, but none worked. Any stock ROMs that has this feature?

As you know, we already have AOSP locker mod for our stock jb, but it has an annoying bug: when you press menu button, the screen is unlocked. So I'm asking for someone interested in theming (because I'm completely unfamiliar with modding apk's) to take a look into these mods to find this bug and solve it.
