can't mount usb storage - i think it's a build.prop error
Installation instructions - same as LINics
Unzip rom and have the boot.img handy
Put the rom zip into the root of the sdcard.
Flash the rom using CWM. If you don't have it, please flash a custom kernel. (I recommend terrasilent)
When you're in CWM6, reflash the rom again.
After the second flash, flash the gapps zip.
Wipe your data.
Reboot into download mode and flash a GB kernel. (preferably the one you had before)
Reboot again into download mode after getting into CWM5.
Flash the boot.img with heimdall at the KERNEL partition
Note: If you're switching between versions or builds, there are simpler installation instructions:
flash this kernel with heimdall
boot into recovery
wipe cache + dalvik
install rom and gapps
Enjoy!

WOW that is so awesome that you ported so many ROMs in such a short time
the only thing that bothers me is i cant DECIDE!!! xD
it would be awesome if you or a person who posted on the first site would edit some screenshots in
BTW if there are no visual changes then write some information about what is so special about that particular ROM
I don't want to sound rude i just want to be able to decide ^^

this is an "improved" version of aokp, it features its own kind of rom control and an orange theme...if you don't like the theme then there is a classic blue one somewhere in the forums

I'll test this later tonight!! I love what you're doing but I'm sometime thinking that you're porting roms considering the fact that you have a US 4.0. Which leaves us Intl players with the navigation bar. I would like to know if this have the navigation bar (soft mod buttons).
Thanks.

i have an intl player, the only rom with a non-removable nav bar is aokp, in paranoidandroid the navbar can be removed in settings and in aocp it's off by default
if you look at my screenshots from paranoid you'll see that the nav bar is off

First of all, welcome to XDA.
Now, i recommend to you give more presentation to your OP, i know that you have a link to the screenshots and downloads but it's better if you have all the information on the thread. Also, the details of how it's different from CM9 would be better if are included on the OP too.
Good luck.
@OP
I cannot understand and read if it is not in English and please put all the ROM info in the op.
Thanks and good luck.

Look man, I understand this is your first ROM. Now, as you already know, we have CM9, the only changes you made are de-bloating the rom. But, we can all already do that using Titanium Backup, I'd say you gotta add something to this ROM to attract users. Don't get me wrong, you've done a great job. I mean, I can't even do what you did. But all the same, these people won't try out the ROM unless they find something new or better in it.
Looking forward to something better from you. I know you got the potential.
If it was a suggestion you wanted, if you make a CM10 ROM, I'll definitely try it!
Cheers.

I have been trying all your ported ROMs and am gonna try this as well (except for paranoid, dislike tablet mode for a blind bat like me )
A quick question, how's the bluetooth A2DP function? Can it work with my car audio system as RootBox couldn't but RR is ok.. but RR battery drains faster than I blink... something went so wrong that within 10 mins and after a couple of restarts, the battery dropped 30% from 50% to 19%. Scary isn't it?
Btw.. the download link is really SLOW..

The Download link is fine just got a 3-4 min ETA on a 346 MB file then canceled. I am not sure about A2DP on this ROM as I have not tested it and generally only use it on my One X as my i777 is my secondary. That battery drop is unusual try re-calibrating your battery(take it in and out).

This rom looks really interesting, will give it a try when I have the time.
Few Issues
Alright, so I guess I'm the first person to try this out and report back. Well, I just flashed it and picked AOSP mod in the Aroma installer (full wipe, cache cleared, dalvik cache cleared, kernel cleaning script all done). Didn't immediately reboot after Aroma installer was done, then fixed permissions.
First things I noticed:
1) WiFi isn't working.
2) Can't switch to the toggle menu in the notification panel. Two-finger drag down doesn't work, either.
3) Google Apps was not included in my flash. This could be the reason for the above problems. Flashing again to see if Google Apps will be included.
I'll post again if things change.
Edit:
Flashed again using the default mod instead of AOSP. Gapps still didn't install, so I was never greeted by the Google welcome screen asking to sign into my account and such (same as first install). Basically all the above problems are still there when switching to default.
Gapps still add in my ROM. But its not install it because gapps code in updater-script is below the kernel code. So if kernel code got failed, gapps wont install. Sorry for the wrong kernel code lol. First release is so good hehe and thanks for all report. I will looking for these bugs.
Quick Settings are working after you flash gapps.

Hmm I think it wont damage your nandroid.. Sorry for that.
Flashed again with March 1 gapps. Toggles work, but WiFi still doesn't. :/
Nonetheless, the ROM still looks pretty great otherwise and I'm looking forward to a newer version.

So I looked at the updater-script, and I *think* I've got the gapps set to flash before the kernel. Here's hoping. The WiFi worked for me, the fifteen minutes or so I ran this ROM because of no gapps. Flashing this once my girlfriend goes to bed.

[ROM][Player4][US/Intl] CM10 Jellybean 4.1.2 w/ 3.0 kernel for the Galaxy Player 4

CyanogenMod 10 is a free, community built distribution of Android 4.1.2 (Jellybean) which greatly extends the capabilities of your phone.
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
This is a preview build of CM10 for the Samsung Galaxy Player 4. It may cause all the things in the disclaimer to happen, or steal your girlfriend while you are busy flashing ROMs.
Note: Please backup your efs in case of something goes wrong (the zip should backup it but we're never too sure) To do so execute this command:
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/stl3 of=/sdcard/efs.rfs
Preview Install instructions:
*** If upgrading from CM9, it is recommended that you wipe data.
1. Download cm-9-20130402-kernel-preflash.zip
md5: 4a900fcddbc3d81d121a7b9c9d4bb0a0
2. Download cm-10-20130614-EXPERIMENTAL-ypg1.zip
3. Make all your backups.
4. Make sure your efs is intact (not blank).
5. Boot into recovery, make more backups.
6. Flash cm-9-20130402-kernel-preflash.zip (temporary workaround for first-time install)
7. Flash cm-10-20130614-EXPERIMENTAL-ypg1.zip
Installation Notes:
When you install for the first time, there is a conversion to the new MTD partition layout. The installer will flash the new kernel and reboot. It is possible for this process to hang up on the samsung logo (still working that part out). It is normal to see the Samsung logo appear 3 seperate times during this reboot phase. **Please wait at least a minute before assuming you are stuck.** If this happens, you should extract the boot.img from the installer zip and flash it with heimdall (heimdall flash --kernel boot.img, or other appropriate GUI methods). It should boot back into recovery and continue the installation. Once the install finishes, it should reboot once more back into recovery, which gives you the opportunity to flash your gapps.
**Google Apps are not included in these ROMs. You'll need to install those yourself if you want them. Recommended and highly suggested are the 4.1.2 gapps from goo.im.

Issues:
Extrernal Sdcard symlink not working (/emmc)
GPS don't work Fixed 04/21
Camera is broken Partially fixed 04/16
Mp3 don't work (unless you use poweramp) Fixed 04/14
Youtube don't work Fixed 04/14
Quick note on installation:
If you're coming from CM9 preview builds (not nebula), you can flash the zip without doing anything else. (even without wiping /data but it's recommended to do so)
this is soo awesome. THANK YOU BBELOS
I have to say that for a first build this is running really well. Nice job.
Really smooth and responsive, Google Now looks great! This is really amazing. The one issue I ran into, which I assume you know about, is the fact that Poweramp always routes the sound to the speakers, even with headphones plugged in, which is kind of a deal breaker for me. Other than that it's working very well, can't wait to see what's next!
Outstanding work here, keep it up!
Awesome! Good work Bbelos! One question, do we need to flash the kernel preflash if were coming from cm9?

No you don't need to do it, you just have to flash the build in CWM.

New build in the OP.
Changes: Better audio & video playback.
Kernel version is 2.6
and how's the camera coming along? If u fixed it in CM9 then u can fix it in CM10 too right?

Sounds great! Unfortunately, I'll probably stick to CM9 for a little while, since the camera on that works. My sister really doesn't care about what ROM she's on as long as the camera is working.

This is absolutely awesome. Running great. Amazing work gentlemen.
Also, installed browser2ram and it greatly Improves browser performance. Makes a HUGE difference IMO

Does 120 dpi give you tablet mode like it does on cm9 with modded services.jar.
I ask because I actually prefer to use 120 dpi.

[ROM][4.2.2] FrostTW 0.1.1 ALPHA

FROST TW
Restl3ss
This is the very first ALPHA release of Frosttw, a rom which aims to combine Cyanogenmod with samsungs Touchwiz in a way that gives you the best of both worlds! Inspired by Dandroid for the Samsung Galaxy S3, this project was started to ensure that users would no longer have to chose between aosp and oem, a way to truly have your cake and eat it too.
This rom contains both the frameworks of cyanogenmod and the stock i717d firmware, which means you can run features and apps from both aosp and touchwiz on one, singular rom!

Hi, something really is not right. Home button doesn't work, but more importantly, there is no "settings" nor is there a notification bar.. or pull down, etc.

OP doesn't want mirrors, but I downloaded it and I'll upload to my 4shared account and will gladly share the link so that we can jumpstart feedback & dev for the Rom. I'll PM you JEZZE when its done uploading. Correct me if I'm wrong Restl3ss but the file is 576 mb right ?

Alpha
Thank you for the feedback everyone, as I said it is a first alpha but I've begun work on build 0.2 alpha which hopefully should make the rom more usable. Also I'd like to clear up a little confusion on what is meant by stock, by stock I meant to say aosp, I apologize for the mix up!
Happy flashing, and thanks for testing!
