Line on the screen with gray background? - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

Does anyone have like a black line going along the right of the screen when on a gray background? I just now noticed it n it bothers the hell out of me. Its only during gray backgrounds. I'm thinking of exchanging it but I just got everything set up. Sucks not having root n installing each app one by one lol

Hmm same for me

Does it seem to be a sub pixel line out?
Check with a dead pixel app
Sent from my HTC Rezound using Tapatalk 2

I have it too. More towards the center. Vertical line, maybe a half inch or so.

Wierd I woke up and ran a dead pixel test and fixer and the issue is gone!

Amazing app to disable bottom 1/3 of screen when writing!

If you are like me and go NUTS from the keyboard continually popping up when you are writing and your wrist hits the screen I have a recommendation.
It is called "Invisible Grip" and can be enabled or disabled from the Notification Bar.
What it does is allow you to disable the edges of your screen. If you disable just the bottom when you are writing in Notes this means no more annoying keyboard popups! Yay!
You need the pro version to enable just the bottom and adjust the size. Only a buck so totally worth it.

You could also try an app called Screen Filter.

How does Screen Filter do what this does?
Yikes! Teach me to post while I'm too sore to see straight. The app I meant to mention is Touch Blocker. Still in beta but available here at XDA. Apologies for mentioning the completely wrong app.

Is there any themes for the spen hover icons like when you put your pen over the screen you have the blue dot. Thanks ForeverSupra Bioslayer and Ezgoing2406 for making the note 2 just more awesome.

This would be cool. Kind of like a cursor from windows or something.

That would hella be nice never thought about that ha. Like a skull or star or anything really that would be awesome for sure. Maybe it will work on all note 2's including sprint

Aokp has a curser identical to windows instead of the blue circle.

I saw this a while ago, but never got around to trying it. It never interested me enough to really look in to it.

Got my note2!

Have to figure out the best way to hold it with 1 hand because top left and menu key at a bit of a reach.
My s3 feels like an iPhone in comparison, it feels dainty, lol!
Can't wait to get it rooted and use a DPI closer to what I have on the s3 w/slim bean to really take advantage of all the screen real estate

You should use lmt so you don't have to reach down for the soft keys.

If you're into trying stuff, maybe check out Trans-Nebula ROM. It's how the ui for notes should have been done (Tablet style).

Just got my Note 2 last night. Upgraded from Galaxy NEXUS. My wife had the note 2 since February so I knew how great of a phone it was. Kept my unlimited data as well. It was a win-win. I should be very content for a long time.

My wife picked one up a couple weeks ago. Been running a Pac-man 4.3 nightly from 9/15. Pretty slick.
My absolute favorite accessory for this phone is the Flygrip. Makes it way easier and much more comfortable to use the phone one handed. That with LMT/Pie and I have no problem one handing this phone all day.

I like the two way stand part - I have a stand case now but the UI just doesn't look right sideways, and some things never rotate (like the phone). Any stand makes the speaker phone work better though.
Well got a replacement today, first one was vramc3, but had an annoying buzz in phone calls. New one (from costco) is vrall4, and no buzz that I can hear, yay.
Time to root!

Can't really tell from the pictures but the 3 is skinnier left to right correct... The utube videos I watched it looked wider but I was under the Impression it was narrower. . What about from top to bottom?
Also have you seen the air view case? I was wondering if the window has plastic on it or if it is open..

One handed operation background?

When taking a screenshot it turned black for some reason but usually it's blue. Curious if you can make the background black.
