Google Maps using a lot of battery - Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II

Has anyone else notices that Google Maps is showing as using a lot of the battery when they haven't been using it? This morning I rebooted my phone, left when it was 100% charged and did not open Maps once, yet this is the battery stats:

Edit: I am using Google Latitude, perhaps that is the problem?

Maps has become a hog on my Thunderbolt as well. It's not just the Note 2.

Well I went into location settings and turned off everything such as reporting from the device and keeping a history, I rebooted my phone and now Maps isn't even on the list.

[Q] Is there an app to see what app is using GPS

Lately I've noticed that my GPS is turning on momentarily while the screen is off.
I don't have latitude enabled, or any apps which use GPS and no widgets being used.
Is there any application I can use to see what is using the GPS? I've used better battery stats and the only thing related to gps is the wakelock "NetworkLocationActiveCollector" by com.google.android.apps.maps.Maps
I don't have a decent example but below you can see the gps has come on momentarily over night when the phone isn't being used. Normally there'll be about 4-5 occurances, is it something to do with the phone caching wifi locations when "Use wireless networks" is ticked

Any way to find out what's causing this? Battery is draining so fast all of a sudden.

From googling, deleted_wake_locks and multipdp are for wifi rouiter and data transfer respectively.
Thats just from a quick google though.
yeh i did google it but its only just started happening and my wi-fi has been switched off, i assume its an app causing it but not sure which. If i look at the graph in battery details the phone is constantly waking up when the screen is off. i've been getting like 1 hour screen time and my battery dying by 8:00pm last few days or so.

Maps application for Android Wear

Mini Maps for Android Wear. Pannable just like Google Maps (no zoom yet). When opened it should jump to your GPS location. Consider this an alpha release. If your watch doesn't receive data, try restarting Bluetooth on your phone (I sometimes notice an issue when after requesting too much data, the Android Wear phone application "gives up" and stops working altogether).

Play Store link will take a few hours.

[Q] "gpsd" is draining my battery

when I go to sittings> battery to see SOT, I always find something called gpsd on the list and it is the reason that most days I wake up finding my phone running out of juice and turned off.
I understand that it is related to GPS and some apps request my location, the same apps that was installed in my LG G3 and never had a problem. so does any one know how to solve this gpsd thing? it's really preventing my phone to go into deep sleep.

"Facebook App Manager" draining battery

I've never seen this previously. Has anyone else? I have no idea why it's using so much battery.

Yeah also happened to me last month. At first I only was force closing the app, to avoid it been active, but you can't kill that ****. Then one day my phone was very warm even tough I haven't been using it for the last hour (I went to eat). Since it was super weird I check the battery and got a very similar screen to yours.
I've installed MIUI hidden settings from the appstore and disbaled it from the "manage applications" for now. Hopefully its fixed in th future.
