Is the any tutorial out there on how to build aosp kernel?
all of them I've seen are about cm or aokp

Is there any custom kernel based on 3.0 for ics?

I can see every thread there will b a development on kernel based on latest IcS 3.0kernel.. but why not in Gsm thread...

K.. but i9000 handset+ captivate & vibrant doesn't have official or leaked version.. then how they got the custom kernel ? It made me confused...

It's because they borrowed code from another kernel and adapted it. The Galaxy S series have the advantage of being a close cousin to a nexus phone.
Give kernel source.

[Q] Mix ROM Source

I want to make a rom from source.I want to mix aokp,cm10.1 and paranoid together.How can I do that??Need help
sync their source
Example I want to build a rom that combines aokp, cm,and pa,I have the whole aokp source now,I should sync which branch of the cm and pa sources??

CM 11 based means we have to flash Gproj kernel not mako kernel. right ?

ROM is CM based, but device source is mako based, so you can only flash mako kernels

Thank you guys for this beautiful work! I'm running the 6-2 version with matrix linaro mod and it's running fantastic! I was just curious as to why this thread is in the General section? I found this over on the Sprint page just by chance but I probably would not of found it in the General section because I rarely come to it. Again thanks for all the wonderful work.
