Problem with network connection/data connection

Hello,
I am from romania i got i9100XXKL1 installed on my i9100 and i have problems switching between 2g and 3g and switching data on and off... i loose signal, then get in back but not in a manner that i can make use of it and finally have to restart the phone for it to work. Have any of you got this problem?
Do you have a solution?
Tried with the stock kl1 modem, and with kp8 both same problem.
Seems i have fixed the problem myself with a install of the i9100xxkp8 and a repartition.
If you have any idea to this problem please post it here. It would be gratelly apreciated.
I will update if anything changes.
You are aware i hope that KP8 is a test rom not released by Samsung it has bugs and as its not a released firmware it voids your warranty .
Suggest its the KP8 modem that has improved your problem or the simple factory reset .

Don't know what fixed the problem had the problem also with kl1.... and kl1 is an official release.
I had installed the stock KL1 (fully: rom, kernel, modem) had the problem with that.
and the KP8 wich is a beta fixed it.

[SOLVED] Incorrect baseband after flashing Omega

Hey guys,
my phone was shipped with the XXLE8 baseband. I've been using the Omega Rom since version 3.0 (based on XXALED) and I've flashed every version since. Since I'm trying to fix some battery issues I had a look in the system settings and noticed that it is still showing XXLE8 as my baseband. Shouldn't it show XXALF2? Is it normal that an incorrect baseband is shown or did I forget to do something?
Attachments show my baseband version before and after flashing Omega 5.2.
Depends upon you flashing a new baseband or not .
You did not flash a stock rom that includes a baseband ,so it all depends upon the custom rom build you are using . Modem included or not .

Flashing a stock modem package via Odin solved the issue (Mobile Odin didn't work for some reason).
Thanks

Specify your 'reception problem'. Do you get the error "Not registered on any network"? If so do check your IMEI. Your efs partition maybe corrupted either due to flashing roms or due to the efs version change if you downgraded to a older version of android. If you can make/receive calls but have poor/low reception then the problem can be your rom or if you didnt do a clean install.

GT-I9100T Firmware Request

Hi guys, i want a firmware or custom rom for galaxy gt-i9100t, if there is any rom after 4.1.2 ! , also i have a question: the normal rom for g-ti9100 could be installed on gt-i9100t !!?
There isn't any stock firmware >4.1.2. Yes, you can flash I9100 stock roms on the I9100T, but you may have to use a modem from an I9100T rom if you're using the phone on a network belonging to a carrier who sold the I9100T.
okay 10x for help, i'm so greatfull
What about a i9100 custom rom?! Can i use it to i9100t !?
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Yes, of course. the I9100 & I9100T (I also have an I9100T) are exactly the same except for a very slight difference in radio output, achieved by firmware - the modem.
If you flash an I9100 stock rom, it will include an I9100 modem which might (not always though) mess with your connectivity, and as I hinted at in my PP, in my experience, using modems which have been bundled with stock roms released by carriers which sold the I9100T tends to result in the best connectivity. You can check these by searching the I9100T firmwares on Samfirmware, which lists the baseband (modem), and you can then find/download whatever modem in question here.
However, if after flashing an I9100 stock rom your connectivity is OK, no need to change the modem. Only change the modem if your connectivity isn't great. Custom roms don't include modems, so flashing a custom rom won't change your current modem.
i got it, thank you very much for your help and your notes about the modem thing :good: .
