Can I upload photos to a different google account? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So this is the situation:
I want to set up a central Google+/Picasa account to which both me and the missus can have full access to and upload/share photos to.
If I set up a second google account on our phones, can we directly upload photos to that account without having to log in and out of different accounts?
If I enabled instant upload on that account but not on the main accounts, would that automatically upload to that shared account?

Help with Android Market

So i purchased some apps on android market on my old Evo 4G. Now that i have the 3D im not sure how to get those apps on my phone. The Sprint Employee set up my phone and asked for my gmail account. I gave him the one i have all my contacts in but my market account is on another email.
How do i set up the market on a different account?
You'll have to merge your contacts into the account you want the apps from. The sync account on the phone is "google" i.e. the whole thing (contacts,calendar,market,gmail,etc.). You could use an app to backup your contacts to SD and then sign off/delete the current google acct. in settings/acconts + sync, then sign on the correct one, and import your contacts. Hope this helps.
You can add another gmail account and access that way. More than one gmail accounts are allowed.

[Q] How to keep contacts in sync with Google?

We inserted SIM in my wife's new Nokia Lumia 800 and copied the contacts from SIM into the phone memory.
Now how do we set it up so that these contacts gets uploaded to her Google account and stays in (2-way) sync (i.e., between phone memory and Google)?
Your current contacts must be stored under a Live account then since you moved them to your phone with only a Live account added?
I think you will need to add your google account and move the contacts to that account. When you later add a new contact you can choose which account to add it to. In this case Windows live or Google. It will auto sync once setup.
i dont think wp7 lets you sync contacts with google
Add your google/gmail account and contacts should sync over automatically. You can sync gmail, google contacts and google calendar with WP7.
A couple of caveats. WL only supports one mobile number per person and if you have HTC garbage in your Notes field in google contacts you will receive an error and will have to clean up your google address book to remove the rubbish from the notes field, else it should work just fine.
It will sync them to your Live account. What you need to do is export them from your live account, then delete them from your live account.
Import them into your google account and re-sync your google account and Live account on your phone. This will remove the live account contacts from your phone and sync your new google contacts to your phone.
Thats it, now your synced to your google account.

[Q] HELP: Adding a second account for photos only

Hoping someone can help me with what I'm trying to do and if it works like I hope?
So the wife and I have our own google accounts on our androids but I would like to set up a shared google account mainly for photos.
So in my case, my phone would have [email protected] setup on the device and I add [email protected]
I would like the [email protected] account to handle photos uploading, so I would disable auto-upload and google photos sync on [email protected] and enable them on [email protected] (but nothing else synced on that account).
1. Would the phone then act as it would normally without me worrying about the other account? So would gmail, google play, google+ etc automatically default to my main account and such without me having to choose accounts every time I do anything?
2. Would the photos albums synced with the shared account (but not on the main account) still show in the gallery/google+ photos apps?
3. If I wanted to manually share a photo from my camera, how would I ensure that photo went to the [email protected] account?
Hope that all makes sense, I am a fairly long-time android user but never tried dealing with multiple accounts on one device.
Not sure how this ended up in development and hacking, could a mod move it to a more suitable section please?

[Q] Howto unrestrict a restricted account on KitKat?

Hi!
Out of the need to limit my kids' abilities on my tablet I created restricted profiles for them on my Samsung GalaxyTab 4 (SM-T530) which is running the original Samsung Android 4.4.2 so far.
Now - some of the games my kids play don't support usage of restricted profiles and thus we can't link their achievements to G+ and transfer them to other devices, and I didn't find a way as of yet to "switch" the profiles to an unrestricted one and link them with a GMail account.
What I achieved so far:
Changing the status of the profile by editing the corresponding XML file in /data/system/users/
generating the GMail account under the administrator account
What's missing - I can't find the GMail account settings under the kids' profile as the accounts entry is not available in the system settings
Any hints?
There is no way to access network services to backup photos on a restricted account which is infuriating. The only way I was able to get at my photos was to install Microsoft Onedrive. Once it's installed you have to go into the main account, under users click on the gear to the restrictesd account and turn on OneDrive for the restricted account. You will then be able to launch OneDrive from the restricted account and allow access to photo album, give the backup and sync process the time to copy the files to the network and then turn off onedrive once you're done, so your child doesn't accidentally delete anything important!

sync photos to different google accounts?

Hi there,
It it possible to sync different photos to different google accounts? For example, for some of my photos, when I take them, I'd like them to back up to my personal google account. Some photos are for work, and I would let them to sync to my work google account. Some photos are for a side business, and I would like those photos to go to that business account.
I was thinking maybe making multiple users on my phone? That seems excessive.
Alternatively, is there a way to have pictures sync directly into a google photos album, and if so, is there an easy way to switch the sync album on the fly? If so, I could just use a single google account and have a "personal" album, a "work" album, and a "side business" album.
