Hey 008 Rohit. I remember you from Nokia S60V5 custom ROM development scene. Welcome aboard.
Well, the chipset is a Mediatek MT 6589 chipset. Micromax is the exclusive device user (no other phone, YET).
The development on Mediatek chipsets isn't bad. We need drivers and sources. But then we'll find out everything in the next 2 weeks.
Also, Micromax will release Android 4.2 Jelly Bean as well. More good news. More development possibilities.

MMX have emerged as a player in the market. Considering the hardware in mind, Canvas HD is capable of running Jellybean 4.2 ( official/unofficial )

It WILL BE running all heavy games without any lag quadcore it is expect huge smoothness tho i never owned any Mmx before am a Samsung and Huawei fanboy anyway I would love to promote our indian companny too
So yea Its a great device hardware wise but Mmx has a history of Sum small bugs on Software(mostly are based on CM sources de-odexed) anyway All in all a great device specially from an indian companny

It's possible, but it will require some hard work. The easiest way (I think so) is trying to port a ROM from another MT6577 based device (as this one).

hai friends iam from india i own a goophone v88 i5 the specs of the phone is same as micromax a110 but when i flash whole micromax a110 rom with flash tool when i turn on the phone the display is blank the i tried to flash the system.img of micromax a110 with all other parts of the goophone v88 i5 stock rom then when phone boots i am getting the first 2 boot logos then after the phone boots but the screen is blank i thing the kernel of the two phones dont match each other can u please guys port micromax a110 roms to goophone v88 i5 i dont know how to edit kernel files i will give u the boot.img of goophone v88 i5 can u guys modify the kernel orcan u guys please give the links for the complete tools to extract the kernel files and edit please yaar the specs r like this

The only difference between A92 and A110 is A110 has 8MP rear cam and runs on ICS while A92 have 5MP rear cam with jelly bean 4.1.2
Both of them runs on mediatek MT6577 dual core processor
Also i have a link of firmware flasher of A92 if this can help to create a rom...i will be highly obliged

-First of all download abd drivers for your phone
-Install them in win7
-Then downlaod a software called SRS root
-Install>open it
-One click on root and DONE !!!

i guess porting of A110 rom to A92 shud works as both has same specs like MT6577 chipset and 512 mb ram.. similarly the same shud work A88 A115 A89 (same config)
