Nope it's same as the Evervolv but 260 is recommended use the partition defined for the jellybean
and new version is coming with performance improvement

i recommend to do a full wipe of following :
1>system
2>data
3>Dalvik cache
4>Android.secure
5>SD-EXT
the last two one is for sake of security as it may cause problem and by doing this is no harm

Use M2SD script download from Evervolv op
Everythings are ok except network. Network signal is very poor. Only two bars for 2G.

network strength is o.k the problem is with the signal bar icon you can check the strength it's normal

HW video decoding doesn't work as it is kernel related ...
use can use MX player with software decoding option or BSPlayer
Data keep disconnecting. Fixing with this method http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34993656, results nothing.
Running on wifi, it's quite stable.
I wish I could give this rom a shot coz miui uniqueness.

i flashed using his ph file given... but so far i cant connect to data, camera doesnt work and i had random reboots.. sweet look to it though. once he gets those worked out then this room is gonna be perfect
edit.. also running hot and no battery bar up top

Thats weird they worked for me when i was on it
i did everything the same. i came from your sense and i wiped full and flashed the ph file in bootloader

Yeah same problems here, no data and cannot get to wifi setting neither, constant rebooting also....... good start sure you will get kinks worked out........ Now only if we can get rid green coloring for some of the theming also.....

I just flashed this ROM and now I can't unlock my phone normally. The only way I can is by opening the camera from the lock screen and then pressing the home button. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Is the battery usage good?
I say this because im using right now cm10 from jokersax and i bought an extended battery and i think is not working how it suppose to be. The regular battery only works for like 5 hours and this one for 10
Hmm, not so familiar with this particular rom! Think I just might have to try it out as this is a new one for the Photon!

One Photon....I flash the **** out of it...LOL!
Yeah...and to think...I'm porting AOKP and Paranoid JB to the Atrix as well (which I don't own) as well as MIUI to Atrix and Samsung Infuse...LOL
My JB fav is CNA. This one looks to have some nice options, but right now, CNA has integrated the most features, and has excelllent battery life. However, the Camera experience is a little lesser compared to AOKP. Xenon was really nice mix of the 2, but is missing things like screenshot, which I think should be one of the first functions on a rom....LOL

I'm working on getting screenshot to work on it properly. Like some of the other roms, it doesn't seem to have it coded...LOL

I am from Team Codefire.
As the thread title says, I am presenting the sense 2.1 -- Alpha1 for Samsung Fascinate. As of now it boots fine.. You can see the status on the post3 and download link as well, as this is just an alpha release expect bugs.... I will be working on this port along with @xboxfanj and my team...
Any help is much apreciated, and are welcome to help along in the development of this project.

- RIL / Calls / SMS - Works - (Dailing out works fine, but you cant disconnect the call nor even recieve the calls)
- Haven't checked Data (Will work - need confirmation).

Alright I fixed the WiFi issue by rebooting and the SD card issue is fixed by unmointing and remounting every time it errors out also it unmounts every time you mount it as disk

What set of gapps should I use? If it's CM7 then I don't think I have any backups of CM7 gapps anyone have them?
otherwise this is a good port everything is working as stated in OP with the exception of the two things broken this phone isn't active so I like using roms kind of like Geewiz Media Player

i've tested using app that included on this ROM not by default. but there's some of my android devices can't be detected, anyway... this working fine with Laptop and my wife's Symbian phone...

you can download wifi tether for android 3.1 BETA14 see it on the downloads tab.
though there is no wpa_supplicant support. but tether still works. tried on ics.
Default wifi tether doesn't work for the device I want to connect.
Maybe because it uses Ad hoc to connect I think?

really??? this is even saver than cm9 about battery life. how could that happen to you? i tested this rom using 1Ghz frequency with 3G connection for 1 day (non stop). and it still have 30% of battery life. i'm seriously about this....

Its stable. Data works. Used it myself and there were no crashes. Nobody else is complaining right?
Just don't turn off Auto Rotate screen, I think?, and you'll be fine.
Judging from the FINAL in the name I'm guessing there won't be any updates.

why not? i personally hate auto rotate so i always turn it off... what does it have to do with the stability of the rom?

It seems that turning auto rotate off causes freezes. I know, crazy, right? I also don't like it but it's better then crashing. No one knows what causes this bug.
That said I'm not sure if this bug applies to this rom. You can either test or wait for the creator to answer.

Like ur work... But can u plz remove transparancy n revert to defalt colour skim as official miui...so I can use ur rom for daily basis else its irritating.

Have not installed gapps just been worried about getting the major things fixed like sd

I installed it, gsm and data work fine, signal bars only display 1 or 2 bars for me like evervolv, and still the graphical issues with browser and gapps. Very smooth though.

Same observations: ROM is as smooth as butter and quick. Data and WiFi acquisition is same as OEM sense. Excellent job! @sportsstar89
Only problems I've seen are the same as @jeepers007 evervolv kitkat, default browser and some gapps aren't rendering properly. They show as all black or have black blocks. Also camera issues, which has been mentioned. Again great work!

adapting for 3.4 kernel
hey sports is it alot of work to adapt a CM rom for the 3.4 kernel? if not can you adapt this or any JB version roughly for 3.4 kernel?? it's easier to test the kernel with a aosp rom than a sense rom..i dont have the minimum requirements to build up a rom from source cuz my whole pc has like less than 10GB free hard space ... just for the testing purposes of radio BT WIFI and sensors and audio :good:

I've been using PA Gapps and seems to work well. I've tried another in that past with Evervolv but can't remember which one but worked just as well...

Are those constant issues like call/speaker volume not working or external SD card mounting fixed at last? Is there maybe any chance of these fixes being backported to, say, 10.1 or 10.2?
