OneX+ Repair Parts - HTC One X+

I opened this thread to post sites of repair parts for HOX+.
It's very difficult to find them because the phone is new and the "+" is not identified in the search engines!
Anyway...The code for the HOX+ is S728e.
I'd like to compares them with HOX components (like back housing).
(We know already that the super-battery works on the One X also!)
Thanks!! :good:

I have a One X Plus version since one month, but my camera glass is gone scratched because it fell on the ground!
I think that the housing is in fact completely the same as normal ONE X, and also the inside positions of the antennas are the same, so I could exchange it with a normal housing, but I like this new version much more (it's darker and material/colours are really much more beautiful in my opinion).
I contacted an Italian reseller on ebay and he lets me know in one week if he can have some....if you want I can inform you if/when available!

What about replacement screens? I've had this phone about 2 weeks and its already cracked. Really tired of phones that can't survive the inevitable 2 foot drop.

Pretty sure you can just buy a one x screen the +plus uses the same display but a different manufacture so no big deal

Do you think the screen is replaceable without having to change out the LCD? I see mixed results on other posts...

The screen I think is the same as the one x. The battery I know for sure is not the same as the one x. The plus has an upgraded 2100mAh while its predecessor has a 1800mAh battery

If you want a housing for the HTC One X or X+ from AT&T or Canadian carriers YOU MUST get a housing that is made for AT&T either one x or x+.

Engadget Review of One X+

Hi all. Engadget has just released their review of One X+. Just wanted to share.
http://www.engadget.com/2012/10/31/htc-one-x-plus-review/
They basically say;
- Sense has improved and runs a bit smoother.
- Front camera has drastically improved.
- Battery life is same as One X.
- There is only one color option which is black matte.
- Photo and video quality is same as One X and they think it lags behind the competition.
- The processor is faster and it shows itself in real world usage.
- Camera lens is still prone to scratch.
- Taking photos is even faster.
- Volume is significantly higher with Beats Audio enabled.
and so on...
So basically not really worth upgrading once the one x receives jelly bean?

It's a personal preference. It brings faster performance, 64 GB storage, probably less problematic hardware than One X (remember wifi, screen problems of One X) and more.. They just say if it was using S4 Pro it would have had better battery life but still it's a lovely phone.

I would buy One X or One X+ only if I like Sense. Well, I do but I couldn't buy One X since it had hardware issues when I was looking for. Maybe HTC solved these issues, we will see but right now if I had a solid One X without problems, I wouldn't buy One X+. If I had GS3, I would still buy it because missed Sense as I'm using GN right now.

For me it was easy to chose the X+ cause i was allowed, to swap my x instead.. I just can say it feels a lot better, it seams it is perfectly built. The speaker is so much better! Having used the HTC Desire HD (Also known as Sensation) on TMobile UK. I really like the design and reliability of HTC devices. Looking forward to see how this device stacks up. I do like that JB is included out-of-the-box. AT&T is releasing it in the USA but I hope TMobile now called EE will release it soon

1. 64GB Storage

3. The front camera glass was made flush (thank you HTC)

I just switched from hox too. Yes to all the above, even the front camera glass is a big deal. i rarely use the front camera but after about 4 months the glass had a film over it, no picture till cleaned. I actually cant comment on the battery yet.. havent had it long enough. The Gaming is crazy good. Mass effect that came on the phone is pretty fun. Cant wait till we get some ATT devs, ATT actually needs its own forum, nothing interchanges between the 2 x+. I bought this phone because i saw mike 1986 was rom dev. One of the best @ xda. I was surprised when i got the phone and tried to install the rom. It didnt have the ATT warning it does now. If it did i certainly didn't see it. It sucks that we dont have a custom rom yet. I want to feel this phone with a tweaked rom. I bet it'll fly!

HTC One X+ in White in US?

searched for awhile but got no solid answer. Anyone know if this phone is going to be made available in white anytime soon? Or is there a way to buy the white shell and remove the black shell and install it in its place? I want this phone, but i don't like the plain black.
Everything I have seen is the old Ford model T saying "You can get it in any color you want, as ling as its black" I personally havent seen anything anywhere that even hints that we will get anything else in the US. I'm sire you could order replacement parts from the international model and use that. Possibly even parts for the One X original??? The only difference is the innards of the phone. Not sure if that would work or not. Other than that you can find some pretty nice white cases for it, One X original cases fit the +
Never Die!
Any ideas where to get these "replacement parts"? (The white shell)

The only way to get a white is via Asian import, I did that from mobicity here in Australia (google). White is super sexy. Doesn't have the soft touch finish tho of the black.

I'm trying to wrap my head around all the options also. I want white. I see HTC One X+'s in white on ebay, even a couple in the US, but my understanding is it won't have LTE, and it costs more than even just buying the black One X+ off contract through ATT. Thinking of just getting the Black One X + off contract and getting a white case. Or getting the original off contract in white.
Also, you are saying the imported white HTC One X + is glossy? Hmm, don't like that.
I want off contract, white, and LTE since I have it in my area. SO that means either going with the original, or getting a black + with a white case. Am I wrong?
Its not glossy like a GS3, its a soft Matt white finish which is still grippy but the reviews for the black HOX+ say its got a rubberized feel.
Mine doesn't have lte and from what I've read the att version won't be in white which is a shame, tho Lte in my opinion for any phone is a sales gimmick and over prices plans which always only have a few gigs data tacked on.
I wouldn't get the original over this and white hox+ all the way if u can find one.

I'm trying to decide if it's worth the extra $150+ to get the white One X+ without LTE. Will probably just get the black direct from ATT.

HOX+ ATT Screen Replacement

So my HTC One X + AT&T screen shattered today and need to get it replaced. I was thinking about ordering it through ebay but then was worried about it being compatible since I had bought a case once before and it did not fit.
I would like to know, if any had experience, in purchasing the screens off ebay?
Also, I read in a few threads that HOX+ International screens are not compatible with HOX+ ATT screens? Is this true? Can anyone confirm?
Since I live in a different country it would seem unlikely that we would have a ATT screen replacement. I wanted to equip myself with these information before I had in my baby to a shop for repairs.
