What is CyanMobile?
CyanMobile is an aftermarket ROM like CyanogenMod,

FC or what ???

Great to see work still being done out there for the Nexus One. What is the recommended boot partition for this ROM. Tried stock and it did not boot. I changed it to 180MB System, 45 Cache and the the rest as data. It now boots but would love to get a recommendation to be certain I am using the available memory efficiently.

Yes, fc after first start. I deleted data and cache, nothing changed. Has anyone else this problem?

You can mount /sd-ext partition in development menu. After that you can move individually apps to /sd-ext (a great improvement I think) from apps menu. If I'm not wrong, it's like Froyo.
Don't try to flash any app2sd script!!

THIS IS A ROM DEVELOPMENT THREAD ONLY. IF YOU WANT TO DISCUSS MODS OR ANYTHING NOT RELATED TO ROM DEVELOPMENT PLEASE USE THE CHAMELEON MODS THREAD
Summer 2013 Announcement
I'm going to be extremely busy over the Summer of 2013 so my involvement in ROM development is going to be limited. I will update/add features as and when I can. Please do not expect replies to PMs for now, especially development related questions.
Base: XWMS1 (4.1.2)
Kernel: Apolo 4.11 Light
Samsung System Apps
Camera
FM Radio
Some background apps
AOSP System Apps
Everything else
In some cases, I have modified the underlying code in the AOSP apps to make them compatible with the Samsung base. Figuring out how to solve various bugs and compatibility issues has taken a lot of time and effort - therefore I would appreciate it if you do NOT use these AOSP apps in other projects without my permission - it's easy for me to tell if they are from Chameleon by looking at the decompiled smali code.
Stock ROM functionality
TV-OUT / stock FM radio
Stock ROM Hardware Composer (Butter)
AOKP features (more to be added for future versions)
General UI
- Configurable notification backgrounds
- Recents - kill-all button, RAM bar
- Hold back to kill
- LCD density
Lockscreen
- Quick pin unlock
- Configurable wallpaper, text color, battery %
- Volume music controls
- Choose up to 8 lockscreen targets
Statusbar
- Battery icon / battery bar
- Clock - center clock, am/pm style, color, day of the week

NEW v3.0.4
Although I have provided this as a non-wipe ROM, if you're coming from a ROM other than Chameleon YOU MUST WIPE DATA. You will absolutely encounter issues if you don't wipe. You can restore User apps but do not restore system apps, and especially system data. Important: See FAQ in 3rd post regarding data wipes when upgrading from a previous version of Chameleon to 3.0.2

Gallery: Tweaked haptic feedback, respects vibration intensity in Settings
v3.0.3 IMPORTANT: This is an upgrade zip from 3.0.2 only.

Tweaks - Thunderbolt! scripts added as a separately flashable package if you want to try them out (they seem to have matured since the beta)
*I've added an init.d script to enable the mdnie sharpness tweaks, but they won't kick in until after at least one reboot (I think the init.d scripts are run after the kernel checks for the setting). You can however reboot into recovery after flashing the ROM and enable them from CWM > Jeboo tweaks to enable them for first boot.

Misc
Known bugs
3.0.2
[*]Sending MMS causes Messaging FC (Fixed for patch, will require wiping messages again - sorry! - Though you can restore them from a backup such as SMS Backup and Restore)
[*]Opening Camera In-Call causes Phone FC (Fixed for patch - to be uploaded)
[*]Horizontal lockscreen layouts are screwed up (Fixed for patch - to be uploaded)
Lockscreen Clock digits disappear sometimes. Seems to be a rare occurrence and reports say 3.0.1 had this issue too. (Hard to investigate, never had the problem myself)
[*]Plugging in certain USB accessories (e.g. Game Pads) causes SystemUI to FC (cause identified, fix to be tested)
[*]Dialer doesn't respond to haptic vibration intensity settings (Fixed for path - to be uploaded)
The below bugs are for previous versions of Chameleon.
3.0 AOKP BETA
Transport control view is broken FIXED with 3.0 AOKP Bug Fix Patch
Whatever bugs are in XXLSJ
3.0 BETA
No CRT off animation
Whatever bugs are in XXLSJ
2.01 AOSP
None
2.01 AOKP
Lockscreen
Lockscreen: Layout optimisations required when a secure keyguard is in use (e.g. The text "Emergency Dialer" wraps to two lines) (AOKP bug)
Lockscreen rotation: Weather text dissapears on orientation change, weather panel is fine (AOKP bug)
Lockscreen torch requires holding the power button from screen off to turn on. Of course, the problem is that if you hold the power button for long enough, the phone powers off, making the torch usable for only a very short time (AOKP bug)
Statusbar
General: Date does not show - enable weather once to show it, can be disabled after that, the date will still show (AOKP bug)
General: When enabling options that require a UI restart (Notification drawer layout, Statusbar font size, Recents window style, Transparency), WiFi indicator looks like it's not connected, even though it is (AOKP bug)
Clock: Time in statusbar doesn't always update (AOKP bug)
ROM Control
Lockscreen targets: Target pickers need better refresh handling, don't show default unlock targets (AOKP bug)
Lockscreen style: On first run of ROM Control/lockscreen style picking, Honeycomb is shown as the enabled lockscreen even though it's the 2-target ICS losckreen (AOKP bug)
FAQ
I'm already on a previous version of Chameleon. Do I need to full wipe to install 3.0.2?
If you're coming from v2.x, yes, definitely.
If you're coming from v3.x, you can try a dirty flash, but 3.0.2 has a different telephony provider which WILL cause issues with SMS unless you at least clear data for the provider. To do so, perform the steps in this post.
I just flashed it and my phone is running like a snail
As with all new installs, give the media scanner time to do its work and the system to build caches etc before judging the performance of (any) Rom
Does this have a link with the lockscreen circle messaging notification & the AOSP sms?

Cool. Do you want to see how flexible this Rom is? Grab the task manager from a stock Samsung Rom, copy it to system/app and reboot

One suggestion is that you could remove some Samsung lock screen options in the settings app such as clock, weather clock position and help text. Other than that, the ROM is very smooth and I can not spot any text colour glitches. I also like how you have included the stock call screen.
What has force GPU rendering got to do with the holo background?
Would absolutely love this, the only things I can't live without are the Call Recording and Hardware keys for the Camera. Are there any mods that I can flash on top of to this to get them?

Yep, was working on getting those settings removed but kept on getting force closes and wanted to release the Rom. I'll get rid of them eventually.

But I guess they will put some penalty on battery life. Wouldn't it be better to take this stuff out?
Flashed, it is super smooth as expected from previous releases. Waited until it got USB OTG support, which it has now, this will probably be my daily driver going forward.
Anyone else having issues with the device not waking up if it is asleep (screen off) while unplugging a USB drive OTG? I can't seem to get it to wake up without doing a full cold reset.
*Edit* Happens on CM10 Kang release 08/31/2012 as well.

How do you mean? It's no different to, say, cm10; the code base is full of stuff for phones (dialers, radios, etc), but when you build it for a tablet none of that stuff goes in.
I have only issue is when is sleeped then the wifi alway disconnected and i have must to switch it of to get it connect again. Is any1 here have this issue? I also using frax kernel v009.

Is it just me? I was using Clean Rom before without issue but with Codename I find that a lot of the customization items don't work. An example: colour of the battery icon and I have had a couple of instances when the display has dimmed to a very low level and I have had to reboot.

I found this bug with the Nexus 7 version of this ROM.I have version 3.5.0 and whenever I play a song and I lock my device it just stops playing. Not just that, it says it's still playing and no sounds work on the device and I have to reboot in order for sounds to work again. Is there a Fix? I have Trinity kernel if that effects something.
UPDATE: It might be the thing that I flashed called: Louder Nexus or something. It adds DSP manager. Maybe that is the cause.

Turbo ROM is a custom Android ROM based on the latest Android Marshmallow (6.0.1_r61). Sourced from a straight AOSP/CAF base, the ROM is now extremely feature rich and has lots of customization options. My (@Yoshi_Guy) goal with this ROM is to create a ROM with as many customization options and possible while still being stable. In addition, the ROM uses OMS/Substratum for theming with full DayNight support.

Great ROM, the only isue is the sdcard corrupted thing. Thanks
Excellent work. Thank you!
What is the kernel of your rom?
LED notification works?
Any difference between the test build and the new one?
No LTE after boot. Can't proceed through setup wizard unless on WiFi.
I'm pretty satisfied with the ROM. Overall the battery life is pretty good about 3hrs and 30 mins of SOT on heavy use. It's pretty stable overall with no crashes expect at one point the my device screen would not register touches, but after a quick reboot it fixed it. As far as customizability it's a full package of features(multi window support is my favorite). The only complaint I have is that the kernel doesn't support advanced color controls, which is a bit disappointing.
Overall its a great rom 9/10???
Among one of my favorite AOSP ROMs

I thought the same. Mobile data is disabled from setup, you have to enable it.

Excellent work!!!
Installed this Rom yesterday, everything goes very well; No chrashes, no lagging... Everything is fine except the wifi speed; I have connected to my Wifi home, now at my work and Wifi download speed is very slow, about 2 or 3 Mbps. Has anyone this same issue?
Thanks!
:good:
Anyone know the setting to change 4g to LTE? Great ROM!

I loved the ROM. However, I had issues with data. I couldn't get it connected with Verizon cdma. I tried a lot of different settings in cellular networks and it wouldn't connect. Anyone else on Verizon with this issue?

Yes
Would you have to go through all the steps from OOS12 if you are already on unofficial EvolutionX?
I guess you used OOS12 source so things changed?
Hey, thank you for the rom! One quick questions,
I'm stuck in GM1900_11_H28 for now. Can i install this rom, without waiting for the update (h30/31) to be available ?
Thx

Yes , you'll need to come from the firmware mentioned in the OP. Upcoming builds will have fw included. Until then you can follow the guide as is, or you can flash lineage, reboot to bootloader and follow my guide starting with step 2.

Hi @Fegelein,
I hope all is well. I deleted your first post above that one for a couple of reasons:
Making two or more posts in a row in a thread is discouraged. You can always click the Edit button on your existing post and change it as much as you need to.
Accidents happen, and when you do make a second post by mistake, please use the Report button on your own post and ask us to delete it for you.
Last, but not least: your initial post gave off the impression of being very demanding of the developer, who generally does this work for free and in their spare time. Your second post is much better, although still on the very edge of demanding, but doesn't quite cross the line.
If you have any questions or need to discuss any of this, please send me a PM, and don't reply here so that we keep the thread on-topic.
Thank you,
@roirraW "edor" ehT

Nope. I will not be migrating to it either. Erofs has been known to cause app launch regression. I ship with erofs on 8 series although I'll probably be migrating back to ext4 soon as well.

No and I will not be adding it, nor will I be adding Dolby. I do the same for 6, 8 and 9 series.

How is camera performance compared to oos/ can it be added later on?

As for performance, well, you can use a gcam mod with xmls. I suggest using LMC 8.4
Edit: There is an issue with Always-on-display. When you have pocket mode enabled and put your phone in your pocket with AOD active, it will show the pocket mode info screen all the time. I guess this will cause burn in and battery drain.
Is it Google play certified? The banking apps are allowing access with this room?
