need German language rom for SGS2 GT-I9100T please help!!!! - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

i Have: SGS2 in Arabic
pda I9100TJJKG1
Phone (Modem) I9100TJJKF3
CSC I9100TPCLKG1
android ver.2.3.3
Build number Gingerbread.jjkg1
I need German language rom for the SGS2 GT-I9100T, please tell me where and how i can download file. (link)
The mobile phone is not net/simlock
please help
Thank you very much

Go to settings-input,language-language. And search for Germany language.
All roms have Germany language it writed in description... if not it always be soon for it or sometimes not.
Send form Galaxy S2. But I don't have it :-\

So, in my SGS2 no German language is included, there are a total of close uk, usa, russki, arabic and heb..,
Thank you

Maybe look for "Deutsch", not German, if its still not there:
Go to http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/ search for your model, then download a European ROM and flash it; remember you have 9100"T". For more instructions on flashing roms, search for threads here on xda forum.

GT-i9100 ICS 4.0.3

Thanks Frank,
If I with the specified link the FW Checker seeking out I just get this:
Latest firmware info
GT-I9100T - (Pelephone)
PDA: I9100TJJLPB
CSC: I9100TPCLLPB
Version: 4.0.3
Modified: 2012-10-08
Download: here
I think if I followed the FW downloading then I have no German menu.
Are you ready for me to dig out the correct FW? I myself am afraid that I was wrong downloading and at the end I have sim / Netlock
Thank you

Hmm i searched for your model on sammobile and there are indeed no european versions for it... only israel or australia and some others... maybe an australian one would include german... you could try.
Another idea is that you could flash a normal european GT-i9100 ROM and then flash a modem for your model T, but im no expert, maybe someone else could help you with that. Look for your model in google.

GT-i9100 ICS 4.0.3

Thanks Frank,
best we wait, maybe some expert reports here in the forum,
Thanks again

Finally I managed, Odin3 v3.04 + I9100XWLQ2_I9100DBTLPO_DBT of Samfirmware Downloads, at Odin, the TAR file added to the menu PDA, that's it
in the FW's all there, now it's GT-I9100 without T
Thanks to you

[Q] How to install CSC for my region ?

Hello
My sgs2 is an unbr./unl. O2 from the Uk now working on vodafone PT, in portugal
I have read thoroughly on the given instructions on the dev forum side and was able to flash in firmware XWKE7 - baseband XXKE4 using Odin 1.85 and also root it with superoneclick (thks again guys!), this is a small victory for me as I am a total newbie to android
Just was´nt still able to put away the yellow triangle but will try again later
Maybe I missed something somewhere else and this is newbie issues, but after reading carefully on those long (gladly!) posts I could not find out how to install a CSC file, the phone returns "unknown" and the only one available to install with the command *#272*Device IMEI# is of course O2U
So my questions are:
- what CSC file should be more appropriate for this firmware setup, for PT and/or vodafone PT ?
- How can I install it ?
thks in advance
I would just install a stock XEU(=UK) firmware, seems to be the fastest to be updated, you can find the downloads in the dev section
Hi,
I'm facing a slightly similar problem of unknown CSC & I would like to know how to install the CSC specific for my region. I have SGSII with the following info:
PDA: I9100JPKG3
Phone: I9100XXKG1
CSC: Unknown
Kernel version:
2.6.35.7-I9100JPKG3-CL388633
[email protected] #2In fact, I found on a separate thread the CSC file "csc_xsg_i9100ojpkg1" & I would use Odin to install in on my device. Can anyone help on that please & explain to me the steps? Will I lose any data?
Thanks...

Hi ninogui,
You should go with XEU for Portugal.
Regarding the yellow triangle, I ordered a jig from amazon uk to reset the flash counter and get rid of the yellow triangle. It's unexpensive and usefull to have around.
Around €10 with shipping included to Portugal.

Thanks JJEgan,
I checked the link but I couldn't find any trace for the JPKG3 firmware! I only found JPKG2 & JPKG5. Is the JPKG3 an official firmware? Will it be OK if I flash the "csc_xsg_i9100ojpkg1" file using Oden & kept the JPKG3? Or do you recommend I update to JPKG3 entirely?
you can flash the csc only if you are happy with the firmware you have.
If you want the latest official firmware you need to upgrade to xkg5.

Samsung Galaxy S II ROM(ZSKF4 or XWKE7)

Hello,
I have read about different's ROM's that is available but I didn't understand
1. What's the newer ROM that is available for SGS II?
2. What is the diffrent beetween those roms(ZSKF4 and XWKE7)?
3. How do i know if the ROM version fit to my Galaxy S II?
Thank you
You will find all the Official ROM's here,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278
And all the ROM's you will find here are compatible with GSII.
Regards.
Thank you.
But how do i know what is the diffrent beetween ZSKF4 and XWKE7
and how do i know what is the language of the ROM?

KF4 is after KE7 as in K is 2011 E is a month 7 is build
No change logs published by Samsung .
and how do i know what is the language of the ROM?
By reading the instructions on the first page of that link .
CSC is the consumer software customisation and is specific to geographical region and carriers. It contains the software packages specific to that region, carrier branding and also APN settings for data connection, MMS etc for your service provider.

Region codes.
This helps me a lot.
I ran a google search but i didn't find which is better and what is the diffrent
ZS = Hong Kong
XW = ?
There is something i would prefer?
Can I install any ROM i want? if i have XW version this is possible to install ZS?
You can install any ROM's any time over any ROM. ZS is dedicated for Hong Kong, ZN is China, why should you install them if you are not located in those countries? XW is open region I guess, it's mainly for Europe and some other Asian countries like India and else.

My Region is israel what rom should i pick?
XWKF3 is earlier from ZSKF4

I have found that XXKG6 ROM have the support i need but nothing mentions about JH. This ROM Runs android 2.3.4 i have 2.33 , If I will install the ROM
it will change to 2.3.4?
If you install a 2.3.4 ROM then you will definitely have 2.3.4.
Regards.
After i flashed the ROM, can I just install CSC with odin?
And if i will flash another kernel CSC will be removed right?
Kernel doesn't have anything to do with CSC. I don't the first part of your query though.
1. When flashing while i'm in install mode i always get an error:
cannot access system/csc/dbt/system
this is normal?
2. I have Frankenstein XXKG6 it seen to be great but there is an RTL fix to this build?
if not what is the recommended firmware that support RTL?
Hi All,
My firmware version for the S2 is

[Q] Where can i find Danish firmware for my SGS II?

Hi XDA
I need the original danish/nordic firmware version for my SGS II
I just called Samsung support in Denmark and got the information.
Danish firmware from samsung support.
Android 2.3.3
Build: gingerbread xwkdg
Kernel version: 2.6.35.7-i9100xwkdg-cl174368 [email protected] #2
This is the one im looking for, or something similiar.
Short story about the device: I bought the SGS II from a guy who bought from 3 carrier in Denmark. After i bought it, i realized that the phone was 3 carrier locked and the 3 app, planet 3 app was on the phone. I wanted to debrand.
I did debrand with Odin 1.85 and used the sgs II firmware stock version I9100XWKDD_I9100XXKDH_I9100XEUKD1, which i downloaded from this thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278
I have looked, and couldnt find the danish firmware or something similiar to what im now looking for.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113928
Danish KE4 or KF4 Its that or ask in the branded roms post or try Google .
KDD still on Samfirmware .
jje
Thanks for reply.
the 3G Carrier stock firmware XWKE1 Danish was the one, that my phone came with.
and the XWKF4 from 3 is the latest that i did upgrade to when i used Kies in the first moment that i got the phone home.
After that i debranded with another firmware, the one i have mentioned in the first post.
maybe i should just use the one I9100XWKDD_I9100XXKDH_I9100XEUKD1 i have now on the phone this is the first firmware in the thread and is also a uk firmware, but this one have danish language in it and is not a 3 carrier locked firmware. :-D
Which firmware build version do you use?
Me its cooked KH3 based on Cognition 1.51 rom and adapted further .
jje
okay cool. Well i just have to search for another danish firmware other than 3 carrier firmware.
Do you know which android 2.3.4 firmware is the newest one? ;-)
three posts that may help.

the first post dont work
kind regards.
Popenda.
I have found the stock firmware XWKE2 which is the standard samsung firmware for sgs II. This one can be used for Danish and other eu countries.
Im using this instead and then i can upgrade via KIES. :-D
End of thread
Hi guys.
have you experienced problems with "missing calls badge" on telephone icon ?? You know when recieving missed calls you should normally have a small counter i corner of app...
Mine is completely gone after i changed ROM a few times..
I have tried to reset everything and re-install original firmware and even do normal upgrade via Kies..
any solutions?

I guess you haven't heard? That's because megaupload has been shut down. In most of whatever mysterious posts you're talking about, the later posts in that thread will probably note that the devs whose work was hosted on shut down sites like megaupload are looking for other hosting sites to upload their files to.
You'll have to be patient.
Sounds like we're in the same boat @sout13 :-/

[Q] Galaxy Ace GT-S5830i Flashing a stock firmware question/help!

Hello guys. Yes i'm a noob and i have tried desperately to find the info out myself but i'm getting myself SO confused, i hope someone can help me out a bit and clarify a few things for me.
I have a SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE GT-S5830i which is a United Kingdom model phone unlocked to all networks but it was getting very worn and tatty so i went out this morning and purchased a brand new SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE GT-S5830i phone (identical model) however this one came supplied as locked to the o2 network and is o2 branded on all the startup/shutdown screens.
I figured i could simply re-flash a stock firmware to it to lose all of the o2 branding and return it to the standard Samsung startup/shutdown screens (and possibly unlock the phone to all networks during the process but i'm not that bothered about doing that as it doesn't really matter to me)
On the handsets I have gone into SETTINGS> ABOUT PHONE> and the details are as follows:
Model Number: GT-S5830i
Android Version: 2.3.6
Baseband Version: S5830iXXLK1
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7 [email protected] #1
Build number: GINGERBREAD.XXLK3
...and these details are the same for both the old phone and the new o2 branded one.
Now then, here's where i'm at: when i do things i'm not only doing them to get to the 'end goal' but also to learn and educate myself along the way, but so much of the information out there assumes that you already know what they are talking about or is just too confusing as it doesn't explain enough. I have gotten myself very confused lol.
I want to be able to 'de-brand' the new phone so that it is just like the old one, and to do that i'd like to understand what i am doing a bit more, like the baseband version and build number (XXLK1 and XXLK3 are bpth quoted in the 'About Phone' menu) and i don't understand what file i should be downloading as all i can find is labelled as GT-S5830iXXLK3 so would this be the correct firmware for my handsets as i thought they were listed by Baseband (which is XXLK1 not XXLK3 but the bit in the phone's build number says XXLK3 even though the actual phone's Baseband says XXLK1) can you see why i am confused? lol!
I'd like to be as sure as i can be prior to flashing so i don't make any silly mistakes.
I have:
KIES software,
USB Drivers (i think)
ODIN v3.07 software,
Standard Samsung supplied USB cable,
Windows 7 32bit.
Can anyone help me to understand why the firmware sets are in several split files and help confirm which firmware i do actually need for the baseband type of my two handsets.
I'm also intending to make a backup of each phone prior to flashing so i hopefully do not brick any devices. Maybe i could even read the firmware of one phone and flash to the other? Perhaps i'll just stick to finding a suitable stock firmware and keep it simple
Any help, information, education is all appreciated, and i hope as a noob to the forum i haven't breached any set rules with this post (i don't think i have but you never know!)
Kindest regards,
Drew

read my thread or signature.
I have loaded KIES and got some more information:
On the older SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE GT-S5830i (unlocked to all networks) it says: PDA:LK3 / PHONE: LK1 / CSC: LK1 (BTU)
On the newer SAMSUNG GALAXY ACE GT-S5830i (locked and branded o2) it says: PDA:LK3 / PHONE: LK1 / CSC: LK1 (O2U)
So clearly i can see the difference here between the new phone with it's o2 network branded firmware, and assume that the only thing i need to change over on the new phone is the CSC part, which ODIN looks like it can do by simply adding a new CSC file in.
Anyway, i went to the SamMobile Firmware site and have downloaded:
GT-S5830i - United Kingdom - BTU
PDA: S5830IXXLK3
CSC: S5830IBTULK1
Version: 2.3.6
Date: 2012-11-23
...which gives me a zip file named: S5830IXXLK3_S5830IBTULK1_BTU.zip
Here's where i just got more confused lol... the thread you pointed me to gets a bit confusing as lots of people are posting allsorts on it, but am i right in thinking once i have that file i just downloaded i go into ODIN v3.07 and just add that file into the PDA section and then untick all the boxes? This seems a bit different to some of the other Odin instructions i have read where they say tick certain boexes and do this, do that etc...
This way seems to be involving reflashing the PDA, and PHONE sections maybe? Am i not just wanting to flash CSC parts? I am SO confused now.
Can anyone help clarify a little more? I can't quite see how you make a firmware backup using ODIN before proceeding to actual flashing. I'd like to make a backup first before i do anything

if you want only the UK one, search on sammobile.com, u might find it!
why do you want stock rom?
you could install firmwares of other countries but u "might" face network problems!
backup your imei via galaxy toolbox app if you do so!!
u could flash a custom rom!!
