[Q] Wifi wakeup delay with Power Saver - HTC One X+

I noticed that with Power Saver turned on, when I woke up my phone, the wifi was off and it took about a full 5 seconds for it to turn on.
That is a long lag time, isn't it?
With Power Saver turned off, the wifi stays on. I just turned it off, so I don't know how this will affect my battery usage.
But my battery usage has been reasonably good so far, I usually go two days between charges. I've got Battery Widget Reborn installed, set up so that it automatically puts phone in airplane mode overnight. I've disabled the bloatware, twitter, etc.
How is wifi acting for other folks, if you have Power Saver turned on? How long does it take for your wifi to come back on?
Thx, Vicki

[Q] Battery Drain?

I had my tab fully charged at 6am this morning, and now it is on 69%. I have been browsing the internet for an hour or two. Is this drain normal?
Yes its normal you have set your wifi policy to not to disconnect. If you want your battery not to drain fast go to settings than screen and check mark on Auto adjust screen power. Plus set the brightness to auto. Now change your wifi disconnect policy to disconnect when screen turns off. I had the same problem but after doing these changes the problem is solved. Please hit the thanks meter if I have helped you.

Help Archos won't go to sleep

For some reason I can't get my archos to stay asleep. after 8 seconds of sleep it wakes itself up, thus rendering itself useless as the batter dies in a matter of hours. any ideas? I've already factory reset with no effect, so it really can't be any software installed.
Do you have enabled deep sleep?
(Settings)
perhaps I was not clear it will not do any kind of sleep. no matter what I enable deep sleep disable deep sleep, what ever power setting I set the device automatically turns on after about 8 seconds. picture this, the device sitting on the desk the screen turns on, a minute passes the screen turns off, 8 seconds pass the screen turns on, repeat until battery is dead.
I don't have my Archos right now, but I would install adb on the PC, and do:
adb logcat
Then put device to sleep, wait for it to wake up, and try to figure out from the messages what app turned it back on.
You could also try looking in System Monitor at the Wake Locks tab, and see if there's anything scheduling wakeups.
(If it wasn't sleeping in the first place, I'd say check your USB host port & see if it died.)

App to turn off data from lock screen

Is there something I can do to turn off data while my phone is in sleep mode then when I turn it on the data connection is restored or maybe a lock screen widget where I can manually toggle data on/off.
I tried Juice Defender but it seemed to drain my battery by 11% in 30 minutes! Since I uninstalled it the battery seems to be better without it.
I use Data enabler
Try "Green Power" from the market. Top results & very light!
Widetlocker + Widgetsoid?

[Q] Sleep/awake

Hey, at times, I have noticed that when I go to check my battery status, the "awake" part shows as a completely solid bar. That means there are lots of applications running in the background zapping my battery power. I have tried using task killers to stop those applications, but it still shows my phone being awake all the time, even though I have had my screen off for most of it. I think I read somewhere that when the phone has the screen off for a while, it would put itself in idle mode, shutting down other applications to save battery, that that never happens to me. I press the power button and the screen turns off, but that is the only battery saving I am doing with that. Is there any way I can put the phone into a sleep like state when I want? I do not want to turn my phone off all the time as I obviously need to use it, but I just do not want that much battery loss when I have the screen off. Thanks in advance for your help!
install betterbatterystats and bad ass battery monitor and find the app that sucks battery. disable or uninstall that app.

Screen flashing when phone is on charge/not charging

This is driving me mad at night.
I press the power button to turn screen off. I also have phone set to sleep after two minutes. It stays off for approx two minutes, then the screen flashes on and stays on about 8 seconds, then screen goes off for two mins, and on, and repeat, all day and all bloody night long.
This happens whether the phone is on charge or not. Bluetooth off, just either wifi or data on.
I have it set to always on display so I have the clock on screen when off, I have tried turning this off but it still happens, any ideas?
I really REALLY do not want to wipe and start again.

SORTED. I had "allow notifications to turn screen on" turned on. Disabled that, and now no more flashing.
