[Q] Help with boot loop issue - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

ok, here comes the story.
i know you guys hate when we open new forums, but this here is a topic that i have been dealing with since about 2 weeks ago.
also, i wanted to thank you all for your help, ever since than...
the problem started as i said, few weeks ago. i have an s2, i tried to install a rom, and an error occued. the problem was know that i needed to factory reset and wipe the data from the phone in order to boot the phone. this was not possible due to an internal error (i got sucked), later on, i also discover that the problem i faced was due to the partions inside my phone.so, i tried to fix the partions, but i was unable, until i found a thread here dealing with the same problem on Note 2. so after a lot of work, i was able to repartion my internal memory (lost 6 GB) to fix partions 9, and 10. once that was done i was able to wipe data and factory reset.the problem was now that i was unable to install any rom using odin except CM10 which stucked also at the end of the process. but luckily for me i was able to get into the recovery of CM10 and i installed from the restriction remix rom. after wiping and factory reset, i was finally able to boot successively into the home-screen.
now, my phone seams to have swamped the internal and external memories. in the build in device manager of rr-rom, i only see my memory card labeled as internal. but this is not the big deal. the real problem is that this phone constantly keeps on restarting itself from time to time. so, it shut down from alone, tries to boot up, gets stucked at the logo, reboots itself several time in the same way, until in finally boots successively,
any help??
ah, i just wanted to add a funny fact, which is that on the day i fixed my phone,i accidently dropped it in the toilet (it fall from my pocket, no bad ideas please, it was fully at random from alone). i manged to save it also at that day. so, i some got a feeling that this phone just don't want to get repaired

Reinstall stock rom and start from scratch.

Well I have seen some ridiculous generic topic titles in my time (like "Help" and "Help please" etc) but this topic with its complete lack of a title just takes the crown as the most idiotic.

[Q] Streak keeps dying, need help!

I've had my streak for just over a year now so it's sadly out of warranty. The problem I have is out of the blue random apps will fail to work when you start them, then if I reboot the phone it resets itself and on restart loads up as if it's a brand new phone but with setup process error meaning I have to reflash as a reboot or factory reset doesn't fix. Once I've set it all up again after a few days the same thing will happen, it used to do it about once a month for 2-3 months but now it's doing it almost every other day.
I'm scared of turning my phone off as on reboot it resets itself or comes out with errors and reformats itself. I've done numerous factory resets, reset cache, completely wiped the external sd card and checked the internal card in engineering mode but nothing I do seems to fix it.
Any suggestions or will I have to hold out till June when I can get a new phone?
Also I'm running the power rom evergreen edition, it has done the same on gingerstreak as well.
al these symptoms seem to point in the direction of a corrupt inner SD card , i expierenced these problems as well , and as soon as i replaced the inner SD , they dissapeared
Might give that a try then, was it easy to replace?
pretty much all the information you need will be discussed in this video :

i have not done it myself but the dude over at the phone repair shop said it really was just swap work
I had a similar sort of situation when I flashed a ROM some months ago.
I think it was in the setup of the ROM as something went a bit awry in the reboot.
The way I seem to remember resolving it was by taking it right back to stock 2.1 and starting afresh again wiping caches and factory resetting the whole way back to 2.3.

Well I got myself a kingston 4gb class 10 card and cut away a hole in the back to replace the standard card. It's been 2 days now and I've not had a single problem so it looks like it has worked thank god!

[Q] Flashing issues

Hi, got some difficulty flashing.
Just trying to flash liquid smooth onto my old s3, but having some difficulty.
Previously loaded with a temasek rom and with devil recovery, pretty sure that the partitions had been reformatted to f2fs to boot. Well, I tried to reformat the partitions to ext4, complete wipe, install rom, gapps and then wiped cache and dalvik. Tried many times to boot, got it to load once but resulted in an unresponsive touchscreen (still works in recovery though). I didn't do anything specific to get it to boot this time, it just hung on the Samsung screen for over 10 minutes, saw a liquid smooth writing (which I thought was a boot loop) for about 20 minutes and then the intostart screen but unresponsive. Needless to say something isn't right, and it can't take half an hour just to reboot the phone!
I would go through odin, and start from scratch, but it's no longer my phone and the phone is no longer recognised by my pc (I guess the connector has been damaged, I had to get the volume buttons repaired this morning just to access recovery!). It can charge, just not specified under device manager on the pc... therefore can't seem to use odin at the moment.
Question is does anyone have a solution? Is there a specific recovery (do you have to use TWRP)? or am I doing something wrong? I've loaded lollipop onto my xperia z2, and a friends galaxy s4 but I'm facing issues with the s3... I have no idea why it just won't boot but if anyone could give me a hand it would be greatly appreciated! I've been banging my head against the wall for hours now! The only way I can get the phone to work again is to restore from my backup... something is definitely wrong here but for the life of me I can't figure out what!

[Q] GT-S5839I Boot loop

Hello members hoping I can get some guidance.
Damaged my old phone in a accident the other week so I used my wife's old spare (unlocked) Galaxy Ace GT-S5839I.
As you all know it's a bit dated and slow so I decided to read (a lot) of this forum and decided a rom update was in order.
Looked at the CynagenMod roms. Read the tutorials and downloaded necessary files for the update from SD Card.
Started with CM9_cooperve_Beta_05, excellent rom, used it for 24 hrs but it's unsupported and has a few bugs.
So I decided to go for cm-11.0.0-GT-S5830i-cooperve, again excellent rom but it wouldn't boot with my sim card installed which defeats the objective of having a phone for communication.
I read about installing the modem file to overcome this sim problem and so installed MODEM_S5360_XXMK1.
This did not solve my sim boot issue, so the decision was made to revert back to CM9_cooperve_Beta_05 till I found something withy less issues.
This is when I started having an issue with the rom, though I can't remember the exact phrasing but it was something like Encryption Error when the rom booted, my only option was to reboot and wipe cache etc, which I did, however this did not solve the the issue. It just booted again, every time, with the same encryption issue.
So I came back to these forums and read many threads, some advice was that the intenral sd card was now unreadable, which I guess is real bad.
Other suggestions were to flash a stock rom to the phone, using odin, this could solve the issue, so I have, except now the phone is in a kind of boot loop. Showing a brand logo (used vodaphone and orange roms amongst others) then the Samsung logo then brand logo and so on, stuck in a boot loop I guess.
I have also read that to overcome this boot loop, if the internal sd is damaged, is to use my sd card as an external sd replacement for the internal sd.
This is as far as I got as its 6.15am and I haven't been to sleep yet.
Now most advice on the internet is a little flaky at best so im hoping any members here may be able to give me some good solid advice as to how to best rescue this phone as I really don't want to give up yet.
I can still enter download and recovery modes with the phone.
So please, someone throw me a bone here.

Bootloop remains even after Stock flash in ODIN

Hello guys, I have a serious predicament that needs to be solved.
I haven't did anything major to my phone in years so the past couple days have been a nightmare. Ever since I did a wipe of cache partition after trying to get rid of this "unfortunately, contacts stopped working." message, it's sent my phone into a spiraling disaster. (I have been using stock 5.0 rooted rom for at least a year so idk why the sudden issues)
I've literally tried every method imaginable. I even tried flashing with different versions of Odin and still the exact same problems.
I can get my phone into DL mode easily but Recovery mode only works if I have the phone plugged in at this point (Actually, it seems like the only time when my phone wants to work)
Every time I'm done flashing, it'll load all the way up to the T-Mobile screen then restart the loop all over again :/
Really need help seeing as I need to get this situation handled before work today, thanks!
Nevermind, after more research, I decided to order a new battery and the problem is solved.

A replacement battery also solved my boot loop issue. Prior to replacement, it would boot to Galaxy S5 screen, and then reboot. Replaced battery and boots. Put the old battery back in, and it boot looped.

Encryption Unsuccesful (i wasnt even using my phone at the moment it hapened)

Hello,
Recently my phone has been having problems with it's power butrton, it has beecome very sensitive. I'll make sure to change it once my issue has been fixed. As i was outside, texting someone on my phone as usual, when i was done, i locked it and put it in my pocket. After a few seconds i noticed my phone was rebooting and i immediately knew it was because of my faulty power button. The message that popped up on my screen once it booted up tho, shocked me. It said "Encryption Unsuccesful" followed by the usual message shown to others too and the prompt to format my device.
I've looked all around YT and i found many guys suggesting that i had to format it in order to get it fixed. Found 2 other guys too, that suggested changing the data, cache and system partitions type. Not sure i understood but he was saying i should change the type from whatever i have it to, to EXT4 or the rest of them, trying any combo that will help.
I dont know if this is safe to do because i do not want to lose my data in my device, its the memories of months and its very sad to have to just wipe it away..
About my poco f1 it has TWRP installed and installed Corvus OS version 10 or 10.1 and a custom kernel called D8G. I flashed those since months and have rebooted many times since. Nothing like this happened before.. I believe it was caused by the power button being held down (as it is half broken) and did a forced reboot once, and was kept again pressed and performed another forced reboot while it was booting up. So i suppose it interrupted something and blocked my entire phone..
The thing i am about to attempt is described in this video:
But i deffinitely do not want to mess with my internal storage.. Its very very crucial.
Anyone knows a solution that does not include formatting? Please reply as my phone is essential to my every-day life.
Thanks in advance..
