AOKP is an awesome custom Android firmware. (just like MIUI and CyanogenMod).
AOKP is based on AOSP and looks as vanilla as possible, and focusses on lots and lots of user-friendly features. What makes it different from CM is that there are many more user-customizable features.
KANGXPERIAPROJECT
This ROM is a combined work of all members of KangXperiaProject.
AOKP is not officially supported on any of the Xperia smartphones. So we made a Kang XperiaProject team comprising
Supervenom , Championswimmer, Pikpok, mikegapinski
We maintain sources from which we build (not winzip porting) AOKP for all the Xperias.
We are not any great developers (all teenagers). We are just trying to provide users with more ROM options
Our work is not possible without using sources from FreeXperiaProject and CMX10 project.
Changes to the UI / framework / functionality of the ROM is the work of Team Kang
Changelog is released with every official build here ---> http://aokp.co
Changes specific to Xperia devices are maintianed by us here

WITHOUT THE WORK DONE BY SCRITCH, FERA AND TOF37 ON THE CMX10 PROJECT, NO JELLYBEAN ROM ON THIS PHONE WAS POSSIBLE. I WANT TO THANK SCRITCH A LOT.
Other than the people mentioned above, we want to thank all developers working Xperia devices like
DoomLord, Keiran, Achotjan, Sirkay, Blagus, NobodyAtall, Androxyde, Kamarush, Paxchristos and many many more. And the various CM devs like cyanogen, koush, codeworkx, rmcc ....

I'm having errors when I try to install this package. Something about ro.build.product.
@EDIT
I used Amin and Fera kernels, because I can't enter CMX10s recovery.
@EDIT2
Fixed it by removing first few lines from updater script. Working smooth as expected, but WiFi doesn't start.

Worked fine after removing the status 7 issue. but wifi dont start and either titanium backup or Hill climb racing causes white led and restart.

From what I've read this has happened before: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13710046&postcount=261
But I haven't found any fix for this.

Accepted - not even on wifi kernel v14

Nice, very fluid rom,
Had some random FC, but will try to fix permissions. Hopefully, it will help.
Also had a problem with wifi, but I'll try and apply the fix provided.
Thanks for your rom. Keep up the good work

I replaced wpa_supplicant in AOKP zip with the one from PACMAN rom, and the WiFi is working I'm going to test it more, but for now I can tell that it's very smooth, in fact it's the smoothest from all roms I tried on X10.

Are you sure you are doing it right? Make sure the wpa_supplicant you're putting in AOKP zip comes from x10forevers rom. If you made sure of that then post logs here so devs know what's going on.

No, I've copied this from ICS thread. rom is of course based on AOKP Jellybean sources.
Surprisingly touch button led works with lww second build. I think its not working with previous first build, and not with fxp cm10 too.
Will I have to use CM10 kernel in mini or the one in the package works?
Edit: oh silly me, didn't read instructions. Sorry for that.
So if just recovery is not working, can I flash ROM using FXP kernel and then flash AOKP kernel? ( because there is tethering bug in FXP kernel)

So is this rom a part of KangXperiaProject??

Just curious!
Hope u fix the navigation bar soon!!!

You can flash normally with CM10 kernel. They said recovery in AOKP kernel is not working but you can use CM10 kernel.

No, just flash ROM and GAPPS using another kernel with kernel from CM9 or CM10, or even from your old kernel with recovery, it does't matter. After that you can flash kernel included in package, or use CM10 kernel.

Yes, via adb.
Code:
adb remount
adb shell
rm /system/app/name_of_launcher.apk
With turbo kernel for CM9 normal partition size it goes to boot loop but some weird boot loop blinking all the time and white screen instead of black at end of bootlogo. Just sayin'. I know that i have to use kernel for CM10 or your kernel

It is a pain to boot, but it will eventually boot. What typically works for me is to wipe cache and dalvik cache and then boot. I pretty much have to
do this everytime I try and boot into this version of AOKP.
Hey Championswimmer....I figured you don't have this device, so I got a logcat of one of the failed boots....
The boot animation also flickers between the boot animation and an all white or grey screen....

Our work is not possible without using sources from FreeXperiaProject.

Well, the error was that you had used a wrong name in the update-script, LT25i/a instead of ST25i/a. So I changed the lines in the script, like a baws and got me some bootloop No splash and loops after it. Good that i backed up just before flashing
I am monitoring this thead .

I intstalled it on sola, Lot's of bugs first and last is with sound which is buggy, laggy, and sometimes unplayable
Laggy and buggy sound make phone's untouchable for at least 20 sec which is not good on calling someone or someone calling you.
Lowering sounds to vibrates make the phone even more untouchable )
Movies not showing anything (funny sounds flickering much much more and time is going so slowly)!
it's a bit of laggy... yeah... maybe it's still on alpha state...
Bugs :-
1) crackling noise when playing sound be it message tone or incoming ring tone
2) Apollo Player doesnt detect songs from External SD card
3) PC doesn't detect external SD card
