NAND Kernel for Jelly Bean 4.2.1 : http://d-h.st/1BK
Source is available on Github Repo : https://github.com/Tigrouzen & https://github.com/Rebell
Installation for NAND
Bada 2.0 is required
Download 2 packages: BOOTFILES, armlinux_boot for S8500 :
Releases: http://goo.im/devs/Rebellos/wave
Download zImage (Kernel) from upper.
Start Bada.
Copy zImage to the Bada's User partition (the one about 390MB big).
Copy whole .zip to the SD Card
Flash BOOTFILES and FOTA using Multiloader. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/14962487/Multiloader.png
If you have been already using FOTA bootloaders, you don't need to flash BOOTFILES.
Switch off your phone
Go to CWM using Call End + Volume Up buttons
Be patient, first bootup will keep unresponsible on Black Screen for up to 5 minutes.
CWM Recovery starts, pick:
- install zip from sdcard
- choose zip from sdcard
- "blablabla.zip"
- Yes - install
After finished with the same method install Gapps Package (On Tsunami It is not needed)
Then reboot holding the Power key
Fixing buttons aligment (Use CWM to fix it) : http://d-h.st/6a6
For Remove NAND : You need to Reflash Bada (it is NAND)

dream ?
Am I dreaming or you guys port best 3 android roms on our waves ?

Great thread Hero355! Hope mods will let you keep it 'cause its a master piece for all users to keep a general view over all the ROMs realeased!
However, its not absolutely right that to remove CM10.1 you have to reflash Bada, 'cause you can use this .zip ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=35107469&postcount=393 ) and it will do the work for you
Also, if you can move the CM banner to the top.. it would give to the thread a more "symmetrical" aspect (just designer complex, you know..)

Tsunami rom has less free Ram memory
Cm10.1 & SLimBean is better choice

Спасибо!)))

I don't understand everything about those ROMs:
Tsunami is the new ROM by Tigrouzen, and it's OK.
Rebellos is working on CM 10, and his version isn't a NAND. Then, who released this NAND CM 10.1?
Same for this NAND SlimBean. Who carried it out?
Thanks for answers.

The only one thing :These 3 roms are JB 4.2.1
Kernel by Tigrouzen.

:good: how much ram do android games take?I think, most hardest game takes about 100-150 mb of ram)
Not more)
And sure it depends on GPU and CPU
One time I got 5010 marks on wave in antatu benchmark, when galaxy s has only 5000 haha
but only when cpu was overcloked (1.5 ghz)

GREAT JOB DEVELOPERS!!!
ps: Power and hold key handling has to be polished

Just a quick, friendly reminder of the XDA Rules:
4. Use the English language.
We understand that with all the different nationalities not everyone speaks English well, but please try. If you're really unable to post in English use an online translator, You're free to include your original message in your own language below the English translation.
Thanks,

Hoping if it uploaded in github or other repo.. so every developer could contribute and consentrate in one place. it will has good future because of a good documentation will be much understandable. I mean, all rebellos work uploaded there, then Volk contribute, now it advance. Hoping this build follow the same path and attract more developers.

Welcome to SLIM ROMS+ for X8
Feel the performance and speed!
The Slim Roms+ for X10 Mini was inspired by tchaari and A_U, so I made it for X8, too.
This was first made for X10 Mini and made it for X8 by sgt.meow's request
The same kind of project is already in progress in Galaxy Mini, Galaxy Ace, X8 etc...
TO BE SURE, I simply removed useless apps, fonts, ringtones that bloat our device. Anyway you can simply download their duplicates from Play Store.
This will save a lot of space in the system, ultimately improving the performance upto some extent.
Try it and you will see
Keep up the latest news and information of my ROMs at my
OFFICIAL WEBSITE
What makes Slim Roms+ good? Let's find it out![/B]
Features
1. Our phone has very less RAM to run ICS or JB in fully optimised manner. So these ROM's slightly fulfil that requirement. As the apps in these ROM's occupy very less RAM of around, 20 to 30 MB only !
2. Due to less RAM consumption, phone tends to be more responsive, smooth and faster !
3. Overall performance increases roughly around, 5 times !
4. If you are a benchmark believer, then AnTuTu scores were also slightly higher compared to the original ROM's
5. These lite ROM's along with any script like Adrenaline Engine, can boost your performance slightly higher.
6. These ROM's can be used as a daily driver, thanks to nAa and all of his team members!!
7. Slim ROM's have slightly higher battery backup compared to the original ROM's. For me atleast, i.e; with minimal usage the phone lasts around =TESTING
8. So use these ROM's and decide what is best for you.
9. There's nothing great about these ROM's. BUT, their SIZE speaks for them !
OLD VALUE FOR CM10: 131MB
NOW IT IS: 83MB
10. Going into details, I simply removed useless apps, fonts, ringtones that bloat our device. Anyway you can simply download their duplicates from Play Store. This will save a lot of space in the system, ultimately improving the performance upto some extent
11. All the rightful credits are in the second page.
12. All the downloads and download instructions are in the bottom.
13. I have removed bloatware in to the maximum extent possible, but still if you feel there exists such an app which is useless, inform me, I will remove it
14. Finally, I ensure there was no warez used to create these ROM's
15. On a side note I removed all the boot-animations to conserve space. ICS & JB have their own in-built boot-splash. While in CM7 there is no such facility, the screen will be blank, so don't worry you did not brick your phone
16. I AM OPEN FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS!
Requirements
1. Latest baseband
2. Unlocked bootloader
3. CWM Recovery
4. JB nAa-3 kernel or Oxydo JB Kernel
How-To Install
1. Reflash latest nAa kernel using flashtool
2. Enter CWM
3. Enter mount and storage
4. Select format system then format ext and press back button
5. Select full wipe
6. Select wipe cache
7. Enter advanced
8. Select wipe dalvik cache
9. Select wipe battery stat
10. Now search for the ROM and flash it.
11. Reboot your phone
12. Enjoy !!
APP'S YOU NEED TO INSTALL Yourself

Wtf u have permissions for slim all rom? (Like Miui)
And "slim" significte that we can only call and send sms? Lol
Click to collapse
Its up to the developers, they can give permissions or they can keep their work to themselves with no further modifications... once they have have published it to public, its understood that its free to use and customize it anyway, unless they specially mention it in big bold letters sayin "i will not allow anyone tamper my work".
So I AM NOT STEALING ANYONE'S BLOODY DAMN ROM. This is open-source world, u need to be careful with words.
and my idea is not to make only calls and sms.... some of u got it totally wrong.
u can install the applications that i removed from ROM's from play store... what's the point in slowing down the phone [though lag is insignificant], which already has such less ram.. ?if we had at least 512 Mb RAM, I wouldn't care to touch any ROM, least "slim" it...
So u can install the apps that i deleted, in the partition or sd card or whatever.... this saves a lot of space in system, which MAY help the heavy application/game run slightly smoother bcoz of availability of memory..
HOPE MY POINT IS CLEAR..

great job! smoothest jelly rom by far, well thats my opinion.
Review anyone?
Sent from my E15i using xda app-developers app
Short review:
This ROM does its name proud; it is super light and comes with very few apps installed. On the other hand this could pose a problem for people who need a thousand apps for this and that. Solution? Simple. Download the necessary apps. It's quite fast and if you're a benchmark-guy, I got 3881 on my kernel with no tweaks other than the CPU float point fix, which, unfortunately doesn't come with the ROM. I cannot really comment on battery life as my phone's been plugged in for the whole evening. The lack of a File Manager does make it difficult for people to install apps instantly, but ADB does the trick neatly.
All in all, if you're looking for performance and features, this is the ROM for you.
Just flashed it, Very good JB rom, fast, stable, smooth... Thanks
Can we have some screenshots?
What kernel would you recommend? I know they both work but are there any improvements or downfalls between the kernels?

WELCOME TO SLIM SERIES ROM'S
SLIM SERIES ROM's for L9 are inspired by SLIM-ROM Series for Galaxy Ace by A_U,which was originally inspired by Slim Roms by tchaari for all the High-end phones like, Nexus, S3 etc.
So I decided to port the ROM's for our L9 too.
Some big plus points for these SLIM roms are:
1. Due to less RAM consumption, phone tends to be more responsive, smooth and faster !
2. Overall performance increases
3. If you are a benchmark believer, then AnTuTu scores were also slightly higher compared to the original ROM's
6. These lite ROM's along with any script like Adrenaline Engine, can boost your performance slightly higher.
7. These ROM's can be used as a daily driver, 100% !
8. Slim ROM's have slightly higher battery backup compared to the original ROM's.
9. So use these ROM's and decide what is best for you.
Thanks for supporting me.
9. There's nothing great about these ROM's. BUT, their SIZE speaks for them !
Slim CM10.1 official = 79 Mb
Slim CM10.2 = 90 Mb

What encription you use for wifi password? That might be a problem.Im using WPA2.
So far, so good.
Thanks this thread!
I flash 10.2, and working correctly.
It is strange that such a small.
Browser not installed.
But stable.
Interestingly, I have tested.
Mainly I'm curious to GPS.

It small because i deleted bloatware and made it SLIM.
I wrote in 1st post that you need to install browser of your choice. And GPS will work same as in normal cm10.2 as i used it as my base

I read and I understand that there is no Browser.
Everything is OK. GPS, WIFI working correctly.
Two questions:
1. Are there in every SlimSeries ROM disabled internal sdcard emulation? Install APP-s directly to the SD card.
2. AOSPA and SlimSlim ROMs are 4.2.2??? (What is SlimSlim ROM? Why SlimSlim?)
Thank you for your work!!!!:good:

1.Yes
2.AOSPA is still 4.2.2,because,4.3 version has some bugs for our phone and adamz is working on it.and SLIM slim rom is basically Slimbean, just slimmed more
Edit-ok, I feel stupid now. Read carefully this time and now I understand. Thanks a lot, this is perfect.

Best battery, low wakelocks, minimum bloatware and excellent performance… a rom that just works!
After flashing tons of ROMs on our beloved S2 I was a bit tired and wanted to focus on what's most important BATTERY LIFE. Of course I needed a working rom, fast and efficient but not necessarily with the latest version of android and with as less bloatware as possible. So I decided to make my own ROM.
As I am not a developer I limited myself to a throughout modding, (with the approval of its creator) of the best rom in my opinion DISASTER.
I am really satisfied with the result so I decided to share it with the community! Try it by yourself and tell me what you think, please keep in mind I am not a developer.

Dear mahaseno,
Thanks for trying my ROM, this ROM is tweaked for battery life, speed and stability.
But that's right you don't have 50 battery mods to choose from, sorry about that. I respect your priorities and hope you'll be happy with Rootbox or whatever other ROM.
Cheers

Yes it does work, just flash V5 ALT of this mod :

Then go to settings / more options / NFC
Enjoy NFC !
Ps: Make sure you are using the original I9100P battery (the one with "Near field communication" written on it) otherwise it won't work

Multi Window : I'm afraid this feature is absent

FAQ :
Q : Why did you remove XYZ app ?
A : Because I can. Also because play store works.
Q: Even Gallery,email,browser ?
A: Download Quickpic , K-9 , Opera from Play store
Q: Stock Launcher ?
A: It's 900 kb
Q:Stock Music ?
A : It's 700kb
Q: Why not Walkman/Xperia apps / blah blah.
A: All MDPI devices are different . I think XMP will be 10-12 MB heavier than active. In that case I will have to shift XMP to Doppler 200 layout. If Walkman can be adjusted in 10-12 MB then I can think about it.
Q: Why stuck up on Doppler 200+ layouts ?
A : Cos 650+ usable data for apps is awesome !!
Q : Why not Xperia Z/Z1/Z2/Z3/DBZ/DBGT UI ?
A: Rest of all ICS ROM have them.
Q: Blah ?
A : Blah !

Thats the problem. Most ROMs are based on LWW ,so the dev files of LWW is incomplete .
The notification LED works fine on Active
I will see what can be done .
until now, this rom its very nice for performace, fast and smooth..work fine with more app from google play..
but at my satsuma,if i go to setting and set some setting for ex i set my keyboard and when i push back button to go setting main menu, setting going to FC..
at first time use after flash need reboot for turn on wifi,
and keep update this rom,i like ICS ROM
Yep ,WiFi works only after reboot. Thats problem for Modules present in ramdisk.
I had no problem with settings menu on my Active.
Probably ,you should clear dalvik cache and try again ?
The ROM+Kernel combo is very effective . I don't have to adjust ROM for kernels or kernel for ROM .
One of the reasons I am starting from Stock Dump ROM
What?????????
@Saqib Nazm , @stanlin salu n others
After progressing so much for 2011 Series, now again back to basics -_-
Great "PROGRESS"!! :silly:
And hey can we expect Lollipop for MDPI?

Since you asked for it ,here it goes .
A)No one is maintaining any of other ICS ROMs. Simple. The most popular post in almost all other ROMs is "when will there be next update " and usually the developer doesn't even bother to reply.
B)Most of the ICS ROMs are direct HDPI ports ,instead of feature ports to MDPI. This causes issues with play store , framework layout and many other little UI bugs .
C) Regressive Progress . The newer frameworks and themeing frameworks are heavy . They cause un necessary "future" lag which was non existent on stock ROMs. The rate at which the lag gets accumulated on a device is more on framework heavy ROMs .
D)Lack of bugless Slim ROMs : All slim ROMs have bugs. Simple. Thats the reason I had to start from scratch. HDPI ports never work as good as ROMs created from pure MDPI base.
It's easier to create ROMs from scratch than from a buggy base.
E)5 App Limit: This is the why I hate the heavy ROMs . After signing in to Google Play and installing and updating all the apps ,all I am left with is barely 150-175 MB of usable /data. The lower limit for /data is 50MB so I can use only 100-125 MB for apps which is a ****ing joke for usable space . Even if I use a second sd card partition ,the problem retains . The device has just tooo many apps from start with. It creates a lag like previously mentioned.
In stark contrast ,Radium gives 600MB of usable space off bat.. Thats 5-6 times usable data space .
This ROM is faster than all other "progressed" ROMs .Deal with it .
As far as lollipop is concerned ,you are in the wrong thread mate . LXP/Carbon/AOKP thread is that way ---->>>>
Ok sir
Build for mango is up.
It has Doppler 200 layout instead of 220.
Due to stock keyboard ,I think the ROM is bit heavier than the 180 MB.
