Hi, I am looking for a new ROM for my EVO 3D.
Right now I have ICS Mik Virgin 1.01 with 3D working but my 4G is whacked out, not working, don't even know why and haven't checked if I have the rsa keys or not which I will.
What I am looking for is working 3D, 4G and to be able to tether the 4G on Jelly Bean or Ice Cream Sandwich flavor... MikMik gives me 3D but again, not sure if my 4G is hosed and stuck without 4G because I failed to read warning signs...?
Anybody has any idea? (while I investigate my RSA keys? or a way to fix them I guess?)
If that is a Sense 4 based ROM or later 4G won't work. Use any of the popular ROMS in the development section. And check your keys if that is a sense 3.6 based rom.
I'd flash zr3dxl or homebrew. Both are sense 3.6 roms so everything works. Then you can test your 4g.

Make sure you download the Sense 3.6 version, zr3dxl, not the sense 4 versions. The sense 4 versions don't have 4g.
Actually if Sense 4 versions are better but no 4G that's what I need. But do they have 3D working? And do the pictures come out bright and not dark?

With Sense 4, everything works except 4g and 3d. The 2d pictures come out normally in my experience.

I *KNEW* there was a catch... no 3D... EVO 3D with NO 3D, how exciting.. (just kidding, but really...)
I'll stick to XL + using Apex launcher... Gives me a JB feeling.

There isn't any dump from the 3d yet.
What exactly is running on the Evo 3D? Gingerbread 2.3.3 and what? Sense 2.0? Sense 2.1? Sense 2.5? It had a few features I didnt recognise in the demo videos.
Is there any sense 2.0 Rom out for evo?

Myn's Warm Z
I have Myn's Sense 2.0 Rom and it looks nothing like what is being shown for Sense on the Evo 3D. I want that!
Definitely a higher version of Sense than the one ported in Myn's Warm Z.

well rumor has it the evo3d will hit in june/july and the nexus will drop in april/may. makes sense as i doubt they will release both phones too close to each other.

No there is not currently. I don't think there ever will be. By the time this is worked out, we will have Sense 2.0 and gingerbread with 4g from HTC. It's in the works
This was not easy. It took me a few weeks to get this working properly. Screen Shots are from the SOAB ROM. Sense 3.5 on Android 2.3.4.
This skin is also available for sense 3.0 on the Android Market.
Credit for the work around for editing the .m10 goes to black-snowflake.

Confirmed working on wtsb 2.2. I have a question for you. I have a transparent apk skin I was using with 2.3.4. I wanted to know if it was possible that you could convert it to work in sense 2.3.5. It has the transparent status bar I miss and love.

You need to be on a Sense 3.5 ROM or it won't show up.
I'm on RCMix v0.8 Megamix which is. 3.5 Rom. Installed ok but doesn't show up... I've got Sensation XE.
For CDMA or GSM guys ?

Sorry SIR, but it not work on my EVO 3D GSM (2.3.4), OK ? SIR want to talk about ?
Guys it is for Android 2.3.4 with sense 3.5. shouldn't matter if your on gsm or cdma. also shouldn't matter if you have an EVO, Thunderbolt or any other phone. as long as its 2.3.4 with 3.5 you should be good.
Haven't used this phone in a while, and just decided to flash AOKP release 36a, which runs great, but the Camera and 3D screen are broken. Couldn't find any information with a quick search, so I was hoping someone here had the answer. Thanks!

Any sense 3.6 rom should be what you're looking for. If you want pure ics then I don't think there is one with those working.

Exactly. Look in the CDMA development thread to find them. I recommend ZR3DX, MeanROM ICS, Nocturnal, or MikVirgin.

I was using Newts ROM on my EVO 3D and I loved how Sense would run in landscape and I would love to have that feature on here as well.

Aosp : 3d Anorexia and Sense: Cool Sense in my opinion of course
I just went from Mean ROM to MIUI and like it a lot. Takes a little getting used to but it's very clean and stable (so far)

Yes sir, i had tried v3.6. But now i'm back to v3.5. I think v3.5 has better battery life. What about you sir ?

I do agree with you. 3.5 does have a better battery life but not by much. But I will take a little better than not at all. All in all, this rom is probably one of the best sense roms out there.

If you're s-off, you should give sense 4.1 a go, with that i mean viper3D.
I'm GSM myself but it is a rom for both GSM and CDMA.

Try common sense v1.7. That's the best bugless, fully functional and fast Rom for sense 3.6 and yes wifi tether does work on this rom

Honestly, I do not know if anybody will ever get 4g working on a sense4.0/4.1 rom. Htc hasn't and probably won't release the source code for working 4g unless they upgrade our evo's to sense 4.1. I don't mean to sound like a wet blanket but that's what it seems like right now. We can still hope though.

Yeah, as far as I know, there are no wimax phones with sense 4 or higher. They're all lte. So no one can port drivers either. But, it may happen since the devs we have are talented.

Just out of curiosity, are you looking to change from MeanROM ICS? Some of the ROM's that have been mentioned have more mods and features integrated, but I think Mike (mikeyxda) tends to focus more on fixing problems with the stock ROM than mods and themes, since those can always be added based on user taste.
SOS M uses MeanROM ICS as a base, so if you want a clean base with more mods integrated, a de-Sensed ROM or a different loook you might want to try that.

I had just asked to get an idea. Right now I have MeanROM with mods (basically all the ones you suggested in the development thread), so idk how much switching to something like CoolICS would add. I am thinking of changing to the "forbidden" kernel, although it seems a bit complicated
