[Q] Galaxy S3 Voice Cracking - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey!
I'm just wondering if anyone else is facing this wherein when the volume is increased of the earpiece to max during a call, the voice kinda cracks but when the volume is reduced and kept half, the voice doesn't crack. [during the call]
Trying to figure out if its a hardware problem. On my iPhone, i could increase the volume to max while on the call and the voice wouldn't crack.
Running stock firmware.
Thanks

Call volume drops?

I've only recently got my sdaII and all was fine with it to start with but its developing a very annoying problem. When someone calls the phone rings fine but when i answer the call the volume drops to virtually nil and its very difficult to hear the caller. If i call someone its fine for a bit then again drops the call volume (the volume adjuster shows that it should be up about 3/4 of max).If i use my bluetooth headset everything works fine. I've hard reset the phone but its not cured the problem. Has anyone experienced this or got any ideas on how to cure the problem? Is the speaker on its last legs?

[Q] Is it possible to change the in-call mic volume?

Basically 2 people have complained that they couldn't hear me properly on the phone. I'm talking at the same level I did on my old phone (htc diamond 2) and I never had any problems with that. Is there anyway to increase the mic volume when in call?
Thanks
I had the same problem and a simple reboot worked for me

Galaxy SII 19100 ( incoming voice coming from back cover )

guys sorry about posting again, but this thread is continues to the old one but with a different problem.
note: i tried to delete/close the old thread but i didn't know how.
any way, my problem is the volume of the person i am speaking to is extremely low
any way i tried many ways:
*apps like volume+ and equalizers.
*changing volume from service mode.
*changing kernel
*changing firmware
*updating firmware to the latest official
the funny thing
i use grooveip to call through google voice
the app has an option to increse speaker volume
when i increesed the volume i started hearing the voice a bit louder and then i noticed that the volume is coming from the back cover.
when i flip the mobile to the other side and i put my ear on the cover, i can hear the voice a little better but still extremely low
note : mobile lout speaker working correctly and when i plug the headphone i can hear very clear and loud. so the problem is only while i am on the ear speaker
i am confused, is it a hardware or a software problem ?
if the speaker is broken will there be voice coming out from the speaker ?
please advice and thanks in advance :good:

[Q] Call volume problem

I have a verizon S4 and suddenly (like two days ago) the volume during calls on both my phone and while on speaker has dropped, does anyone know what can be done, any hacks, tweaks to get the volume up?

Low Call Volume fix needed Note 8 for hard of hearing ?

So im about to pass on my Note 8 SM-NH950F to my mum who is hard of hearing and have lived with what id consider to be relatively low call volume meaning unless i receive a call in a quiet room its very hard to hear the person, anyhow ive tried all of the speaker boosting apps, clearing caches etc and cleaning the earpiece grill nothing has worked, so i was wandering what can i do as i see that the option to increase incall volume in the settings has been removed and any hearing aid option in the accessibility isn't there at all either, i was wandering is there anyway to increase the earpiece volume using a service menu code or something as i need this sorted ?
